Fa'a Ratified: Warzone Sandbox on the Rise
The Sandcastle Kingdom of Warzone Sandbox has been officially declared an official government with the recent ratification of the Fa’a Warzone Sandbox, the equivalent of a regional Constitution. This is replacing the old Constitution of Warzone Sandbox with a much more sophisticated and refined version, allowing for democracy, and limiting the power of the delegate. One Small Island, delegate of Warzone Sandbox, was the lead architect of the legislation, and did a fantastic job in the writing of it. The document creates a bicameral legislature (“The Fono”), consisting of the Taganatu’u (the residents of Warzone Sandbox) and the more powerful Matai Sili (World Assembly nations of Warzone Sandbox). It also outlines the duties of three distinct roles, two of which are elected democratically amongst the Matai Sili, and the third which is a position until retirement, which will also decide their successor. The former two, the Tulafale and Failauga, are the Head of Government and Speaker of the Fono, respectively. The latter of which, the Ali’i, serves as the delegate of the region and is considered the Head of State.

The Fa’a Warzone Sandbox was ratified with 8 votes for, 1 abstention, and no votes against.


First Elections of Warzone Sandbox
Following the ratification of Warzone Sandbox, elections began for both the Tulafale and Failauga. In order to allow for elections to go smoothly, Ali’i One Small Island passed Executive Order #001, which laid out some basic guidelines for election. For the position of Tulafale, two candidates arose, of The Harsh Reality of Life (better known as Morover) and The Siegbaldian Empire. You can view Morover’s campaign here, and you can see The Siegbaldian’s Empire here. For the position of Failauga, two more candidates arose, of the names Bhanaville and Confederacy of Arathia. Bhanaville’s campaign can be viewed here. Confederacy of Arathia refrained from posting a campaign. Full discussions on campaigns and potential policies can be views on the Warzone Sandbox Discord, to all residents of Warzone Sandbox.

In the end, Morover and Bhanaville won the election for Tulafale and Failauga, respectively, with exact voting information below:

Hiya, folks! This is kind of an unofficial announcement, but, as the Tulafale of Warzone Sandbox, I'd like to congratulate our Delegate and Ali'i, One Small Island, for breaking a Warzone record and reaching over fifty endorsements! This is an incredibly impressive accomplishment, and we're proud that our region is growing to be prosperous!

A Message From The Tulafale

A few announcements for today:

Firstly, due to an unannounced leave of absence from our Failauga which has stalled the drafting of the Legislative Protocols Act, I have instituted Executive Order #002, more formally known as the "Temporary Acting Failauga Act", which grants the Ali'i the permission to institute an individual to be the Acting Failauga, until the rightfully elected Failauga shall return. We tried to give Bhanaville as much time as we could allow before putting this protocol in place, but we cannot be lagging behind in our internal functions, so we did what we had to do.

I have also appointed South Reinkalistan (via their puppet nation North Reinkalistan) to be the Kahuna of Roleplay for The Sandcastle Kingdom. There's been some interest in it from many of our newcomers, and Rein has the experience and competence to lead the roleplay department effectively.

Furthermore, One Small Island is now at 90 endorsements - expect a special announcement, should she reach a certain milestone with three digits

A Message From The Tulafale

For today, we celebrate!

I feel like I've made an awful lot of these announcements as of recent, but it almost seems necessary with the insane amounts of growth we've been experiencing. I feel like I've been sniped in saying this, but today marks the first time in Warzones history for any of our regions to have hit one hundred endorsements - and still rising.

We feel that such a monumental occasion deserves a celebration! While we're unfortunately lacking in the culture department currently, we would like to invite everyone over to our Discord to chat with us! We've got a vibrant community going over there, and we always enjoy new people to talk to!

We'd also like to congratulate our Warzone brethren over at Warzone Asia for positively benefitting from the Drewmageddon. We're excited to see what good things come from them!
