Rumours are currently abound in Missus X headquarters that after missing WorldVision 81 thanks to an administrative cock-up, Rick Leg is planning something extra special for WV82. Whilst he wouldn't be pressed, in an interview with MSX Television, he stated that his next entry "is going to be the shit-scariest thing WorldVision has ever seen. No man, woman, or non-conformist is safe." Following this, many citizens of Missus X have self-quarantined themselves for fear of being requisitioned for the performance (and their inevitable murder) on stage.

Rick Leg has a chequered past in WorldVision. Not only is he a devout follower of Gregoryisgodistan-ism, but he has, in the past, murdered over 50,000 people in one performance to a 90s club remix soundtrack thingy in WorldVision 34. He has often shown attempts at reformation but this time it looks as though he has reverted to the error of his ways, which is why the Missus Xians are already frightened. Leg would not confirm what the song would be called but he did provide a demo track of the tune without any lyrics. The song itself could perhaps be described as something that is very dependent on the mood, staging, and lighting: in another world it could well be staged and made to sound like a happy song.

So what Leg is going to do with this remains to be seen. But lock up your children. And deploy anti-nuke shields.

Thank you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!

Postby Britonisea » Mon Apr 27, 2020 2:08 pm

Watching the votes come in over the past week has been very exciting. Although Britonisea's lead managed to stay at the top - apart from the scare after the Todlichebujoki votes (the Britonish crowd were silenced once again by the Tobukis), I was pretty much terrified at how close the votes were, even to the last minute - was Zamboodle going to vote? Were they going to give me any points? Could I end up being third place - omg omg - they're online! I wanna cry... But alas it was 8pm and the final result is here. I just would like to take the time to thank the 24 nations that voted for me. This edition is so special for me, it marks 50 editions since I first participated and I had so much faith in my national final selection that I decided...okay, let's host '81 and have VM align with '81 at the same time...no pressure! I'm so glad that the result has turned out in my favour and you guys liked the song and entry - a lot of effort went into it! Special thanks to Waisnor and Belgaam for the twelve points as well.

Hosting was fun, but I don't know when I'll host again - maybe '91 haha. Well done everyone for your entries; this edition was tough. You can see that with the scoreboard...I mean...look at all those 100+ point finishes! Really hope the standard keeps up in the following editions...

To those who want to bid, please do, just throw one out there. As long as you have passion and drive, no matter where you come in the end, you'll be proud of what you've come up with and I'd love to see some great ideas I know our community has!!!!!!

Bloody hell, both WHF and WV? I need to caaaaaalm tf down...if only I wasn't one win away from the Irish 7th! Anyway thanks again guys and I'll see you at the 82nd WorldVision Song Contest in-

What does this mean? I came 14th and have only won three times in over 60 editions.

Nevertheless, congratulations to Britonisea for winning the contest! When I found out you were entering your Vha Mehlodhivestoile winning entry which was to the tune of a non-winning fan favourite NF entry, I had a feeling you were going to do what you did last year — win with your Vha Mehlodhivestoile winning entry which was to the tune of a non-winning fan favourite NF entry.
