[R] Quote Editing and Sarcastic Posting in the Corona Thread

I made an incorrect point in the Coronavirus thread and received some criticisms. Some criticisms are fine, but, even after I admitted that the point I made was incorrect and changed the topic, I nevertheless get sarcastic posts, including quote editing, that are meant to irritate me.

Here is the quote the user which had the quote edited to sarcastically try and make fun of me:

And then, I told him to stop, and he still keeps it up:

Whether these posts warrant a warning or not, I just want this to be stopped. I would appreciate some help from the moderation. Thank you in advance.

The post in question was not your post, and I made it perfectly clear by bolding and italicising that I had edited it. The original content was still intact too. I made it even more clear by going as far as specifically saying that I had paraphrased it. I don't know how much clearer I could have made it...

And I did stop after that joke at Fartsniffage's expense.

If sarcasm in and of itself was actionable then half the forum users would have been DEATed by now...
