Imperial Slavery is a system in which, at the temporary cost of general individual freedom, an Imperial Citizen may enter a contract with a corporation in which they do undesirable work in order to earn money, usually to avoid debt. It is actually seen as the more honorable choice than undergoing the strain of bankruptcy, and the contracts declare that, though few, they will still enjoy some of the rights that an average Imperial citizen does. Under an agreement with several corporations and organizations within the Empire, Imperial Slaves may now also be contracted to other nations-under these conditions:
- The Slaves will not be involved in war or armed conflict
- Your nation is not Socialist and does not have a Socialist ruling party
- You will allow 1-8 Overseers to accompany the slaves at all times to see that the rights of Imperial slaves are protected
- You can provide housing to the Slaves that is a permanent, enclosed space with at the very least a bed for each and one toilet and shower at a total of at least 100 square feet.
- Income of at least 10 NSD/hr can be guaranteed for all contracted Slaves, or that they will earn 5,000 NSD at least by the end of their contract.
- The safety and health of the Slaves can be guaranteed
- You will respect the duration of their contracts and either provide transport back to Eotenses for them or have a space available where an appropriately sized craft can transport them back to Eotenses (A standard International Airport will do.)
- You will understand that under their contracts they cannot participate in any government or politics for the agreed duration.
Also, you should be aware that if a slave dies, is severely injured, is forced to do anything not agreed in their contract without their consent, or is otherwise lost during their time with you, the Slaves will immediately be returned to Eotensi soil and you will be restricted from the purchase of slaves again. You may also be summoned to Eotensi court before an independent judge for violation of Imperial law. Keep in mind that avoiding a court summons will result in a formal bounty being put on your head, and we may be forced to contract out to bounty hunting services within and outside of the Empire to exact Imperial justice.
