The Liberation Army is suffering from starvation and dehydration after a long battle defending Polz, The key city to the Rebellion's Capital, Pobedeygorod. The Army was lost, and they retreat to Pobedeygorod. But their target was only one : Defend the Capita at all cost
Commander of The Army in Polz, Norav Kimonschenko soon realized that if the outskirt of Polz that connects to the Capital paralyzed, the reinforcement couldn't get to their position. Norav contacted the Army that are in Pobedeygorod to hold reinforcement there, and to not send it to them for 3 Days. This strategy was very risky,and if this don't work, they have to surrender.
2 Days later, The enemy's army breaks the defense line to get to the Rebellion's Capital.when they are in the outskirt of Polz, they cross the road connecting Polz to Pobedeygorod.When they are in the middle of the road, they got a surprise
Norav's Unit have stayed there to ambush enemy's unit. They rained the enemy with shells and Rockets. The rest of the Unit have escaped Polz for Pobedeygorod to grab reinforcements as soon as the ambush starts.
The enemy that are crossing the road is wiped out by the Norav's Unit. But what Norav don't know is there are still a major group of enemy waiting for the ambush stops. The enemy unit come with 90 Armored vehicle and 16000 Men, when the Norav's Unit have only 23 Armored vehicle looted from the enemy and only 3900 Men.The only advantage they have is their knowledge of the terrain around them. So Norav comes with another crazy idea, Put 40 Men in a single armored vehicle. the idea of this strategy is to make a powerful 'ram' attack using the armored vehicle. The rest of the unit will repalce the fallen fellow soldiers that used to be on the vehicle.
This strategy was roughly 'success' because the enemy retreats.but the cost of this defend of Pobedeygorod is very much, which is 21 Armored vehicle broken and 3429 Men fell. Norav and his remaining units gather on Pobedeygorod to defend their capital. But the Military General, Shurkov Zayenky tells them to go to Wollisz, a safe place for the Heroes of the Liberation War.
After the Independence gained, The President gives Norav a Three-Star Golden Sword Cross Award, Which is the Third Highest Award in The Military,and The President also gives the Norav's Unit a One-Star Golden Cross Award for their bravery in the War of Pobedeygorod.
Today, In the Modern Era of Sovirizst, Their Day of their Great Action of Bravery is Memorized as the Memorial day,To recall the Fallen Soldiers.
