Title: Small Conflicts
Description: A few weeks after @@NAME@@ planted their flag in the disputed island of Hanshedrik, Skandilund removed the @@DEMONYMADJECTIVE@@ flag, replaced it with their own, established a small settlement there. Now the skadilundian government announced that "@@NAME@@ should cease all claims on Hanshedrik".
1. "this is an illegal occupation!" cries @@RANDOMNAME@@, your defense minister, outraged. "Those damn Skandilundians dare remove our flag from our territory?? The only rightful thing to do is take them BACK!" he accidentally spilling your cup of water. "Oops, sorry. but anyways, we should send our army to *liberate* the island. @@NAME@@ rules hanshedrik!" @@HE@@ gifts you a model of a helicopter and leaves the room.
result: @@AN@@ @@DEMONYMADJECTIVE@@ helicopter occupies most of Hanshedrik's flat land.
2. "whoa, do not be too hasty." mutters @@RANDOMNAME@@, the @@DEMONYMADJECTIVE@@ ambassador to Skandilund. "You can't just use force for everything! We need to pressure them diplomatically. Threathen Skandilund with trade sanctions, asking them do give up the little island. If they refuse, bring the case to the world assembly court of justice. We have enough evidence...right?" @@HE@@ leaves behind a small @@DEMONYMADJECTIVE@@ flag, planted on a small rock.
result: The nation's diplomats believe that language is stronger than weapons when it comes to sovereignty.
3. "Face it, you can't change skandilund's mind." says @@RANDOMNAME@@, leader of the campaign We-Hanshedrik, carrying a bag of postcards. "What we can do though, is raising public awareness. Create posters! Teach children that Hanshedrik is ours! Fund my campaign- err... campaigns. it's the peaceful way of doing it." @@HE@@ gives you a postcard and leaves the room.
result: every day is hanshedrik day.
4. "Why not share it like a peace of pie?" interjects your niece, with a plate of danishes. "What if we split the island in two? It would be better than fighting for the whole island!" She cuts the danish in half, placing one half on your desk, and leaves the room.
result: diplomacy is easy as a piece of island cake.
