The feast of solstice is a holiday celebrated within the Inrov Conclave every year, celebrating the end of the winter solstice and the beginning of a new growing season. Normally, this festival has very few off world guests, the occasional explorer or trader being the odd exception to this fact. However this year, things would be different, very different. Council Elder, Vex Morgan, had sent out an invitation for the various leaders of the galaxy to come to attend this feast, in the hopes of achieving several things, firstly and most importantly, was to make a positive impression on the much larger galactic powers, as keeping a peaceful relationship with them was essential to the survival of the enclave. Second, was an attempt to forge a deal with one of those powers, great or otherwise, to help solve a great issue that had begun to raise its ugly head within the Conclave. These two things had Vex far more focused than usual on making this feast an enjoyable event, with various dishes made with the spices and foods grown in the farms and harvested and hunted in the forests and mountains, and fished from the river that ran past the settlement. Inrov was not a very large nation, despite having an entire planet to itself, as it had been founded both very recently, and without much preparation, as the people who now made up the nation had been force to do so in a hurry, the cause of which was a great secret amongst the nations people.
