Secret masonic lodges filled with generals and oligarchs plotting coups, organized crime groups basically running huge swaths of the country, neo-fascist terrorists backed by the CIA waging a war against communist terrorists backed by the KGB all set to an Italo-disco soundtrack.

I’d be lying if I said anything other than (pagan) Roman Italy. Italy could never be greater than when it was the home province of Rome. 313 AD and 476 AD were the worst years.

When the Papal States was around... The Kingdom was pushed by freemasons, Mussolini was a fascist and naturally I have a distaste for republics when they come about through the abolition of monarchies. However I must say I find the Republic the most interesting period to read about. I love Cold-War Italian politics.

My vote is for the Etruscans largely because their romantic/sexual art portrayed them with their wives. Greek and Roman art in contras mostly focused on portraying themselves in Hebephilia and Ephebophilia acts.

We're not locking those that were already in place before the moratorium, but we've been locking those that have started up over the last couple of days.

Also, the OP to this particular version is woefully inadequate.
