(Gotalia) Olympian University [GO Only | Closed | IC]

Postby Meronnia » Sun Dec 08, 2019 12:46 pm

Gotalia is the name of a series of degenerate roleplays (derived from the combination of Hetalia and the acronym for the region Greater Olympus.) Greater Olympus is a modern-tech realistic region where we roleplay as nations, feel free to check us out! Gotalia is a sideways outlet wherein we play as personifications of our nations, whether that be in silly Slices of Life or regional historic events played out through a new medium.

Olympian University

Image

Olympian University is the premier asset of the Société Olympienne. A large classical manor converted to host the finest in modern amenities, as well as a handful of equally beautiful smaller buildings occupying the grand and stately grounds, it is certainly an awe-inspiring home for an appropriately significant institution of learning.

The nations of Greater Olympus have been enrolled in Olympian University in order to learn how to be more successful nations. They will be educated in international relations, economics, ethics, as well as a number of optional classes. Nations will also have plenty of time to socialize and get to know each other better, both in social time around the grounds as well as in the dormitories students will be sorted into.

More information about the University can be found here, on the OOC!

A few groundrules:
1. Obviously stick to forum rules, eg keep it PG-13 you animals.
2. We don't expect the same quality as normal GO RP posts especially in the middle of a conversation, but aim for a handful of paragraphs. If you're struggling to make a post that feels "worth" posting, try reaching out to the person you're interacting with to collaboratively write a conversation post where each individual can say a few things!
3. Gotalia doesn't get you purple on the discord.
4. Feel free to use the personifications of sub-national units within your country as household members etc. Ideally, clear it with me for anything beyond that in terms of creating new characters.

Kiteahu
Sunday (Arrival Day), 6 AM

Kiteahu entered the ground of the University after having walked the past two hours. The dawn air was cool and the exercise was welcome, and it was so empty out here that no one would bother her. As she passed the Hedgery, she furrowed her brow at the tracks and upturned dirt either side of the KEEP OFF THE GRASS sign. She followed the path, cutting through to the Primarius Building.

The desk was set up, but empty. It was, admittedly, early. Kiteahu walked over to the desk and leaned over, grabbing the stack of neatly organized timetables. She found her own and pocketed it, and took the liberty to check everyone else's as well. Afterwards, she placed them back, signed herself off on the administrator's clip board, and moved on to find her dormitory.

Walking through the Solarium and Atrium, passing the World Bell and getting a good look at the lightly forested main grounds for the first time, Kiteahu had to admit the University had a certain charm to it. She enjoyed the fresh air as she walked to Kathreftis Hall, her home for the semester. She took in the modern block design, and was slightly disappointed. Weren't the Lirans sleeping in a castle? Oh well, Kiteahu had an individual room.

She entered Kathreftis, and found her room in the Northern Block. She unpacked the few things she'd brought with her, and gave the bed a test.

Mèronie
Sunday (Arrival Day), 8 AM

Mèronie entered the Primarius Building with a smile, taking in the beautiful architecture of the old building as she approached the administration desk. She didn't even have to introduce herself before she was presented with a timetable. Glancing down she noted "History first! I need to say hello to grandpapa..." She thanked the administrator before passing the desk further into the building. The walls were, thankfully, quite clearly marked, and she followed the signs out back to the Solarium.

It was a beautiful space, well lit by the morning Sun piercing through the glass dome of the roof. There were a few staff and faculty moving around the space and it's two mezzanines, though either Mèronie was early or the truly early students had already abandoned the social space to move further into the campus, get established in their dorms, maybe get on the good side of lecturers.

Either way, Mèronie settled in at a table in the Solarium and pulled out a book to read while she waited for others to arrive.

Lunderfrau,
8:00 AM, (Arrival Day)

Strolling across the grounds of Olympian University, Lunderfrau made her way to the sign in desk. It was arrival day here at the University and Lunderfrau was out to make her best impression. She had arrived wearing a lovely peach colored button up blouse, a pair of olive dress slacks and 2 inch black high heels. The heels made her total height an astounding 6 feet 5 inches. As she paraded across campus, she couldn’t help but notice the stares, no doubt others were ensnared by her goddess like appearance. She was Lunderfrau after all. Lira’s golden child, the mother of Winst, guiding and loving sister of Eskeiura and Grenzeria. The last of the great Monarchies, here to show those upstarts across Olympus who truly reigned supreme. Her internal monologuing was cut short by the admissions staff, who besieged her with question after question. Finally she was handed a schedule and sent off to find her dormitory. She quickly glanced down at the schedule.

Image

It was nothing special, various school subjects etc etc. She had plenty of time to kill before her first class tomorrow. Might as well find her dorm and get settled in her room. She meandered over to Frourio Hall, it was exactly to her liking. An old elegant castle, steeped in rich history; the perfect abode for someone like herself. She made her way to the third floor, which according to the admission staff she had all to herself for the semester, and quickly began to unpack her things.

Storsnia
Sunday (Arrival), 8:30 AM

Storsnia arrived to the University how she usually does: alongside her pet reindeer Saddie. She was upset she couldn't keep Saddie on campus, but it was strict no pets policy with the exception of fish. After a heartfelt good bye Storsnia sent her faithful friend off back home and began towards the Primarius.

Judging by how few people there were it seemed as though Storsnia was one of the early arrivals. Surprising considering she hated getting up this early, but it would soon prove to be well worth it. She signed in, found her the location of her dorm and received her timetable. "Ethics first? Ugh 9 is way to early for anything like that." She thought. After meandering around the halls for a bit she set off towards Asteroskopeio her new home.

Storsnia thought the campus was very pleasant but would look much better with a nice blanket of snow. This reminded her to check the weather for the next several days; with lucky there would be no rain. She soon arrived at Asteroskopeio. The building was different from all the others being very round perhaps it was an observatory at some point. Her roommate was Tero Malstreciga she thought he was pretty interesting after a quick look at his Instabook and in some ways similar to her. After unpacking what she brought from home including pictures of Saddie and the Northern Lights Storsnia went up to the observation deck to wait for other to arrive.

She was eager to meet new people and make new friends.

Tanaya
Sunday (Arrival), 0730.

Tanaya walked into the University grounds like a gust of wind, but then slowed to a walking pace and on that pace walked into Primarius building.

Wearing her usual beige jersey and beige long skirt, she wasn't trying to appear impressing ─ that job was reserved to other members of her cliques. The only distinctive thing she had was her beige umbrella hanging on a belt like an epee. While having a built-in rifle, it was now disarmed with firing pin removed and barrel replaced by a simple metal tube that wouldn't pass on as a barrel even in the wildest imagination.

Finishing her share of bureaucratic work, she received a timetable. Slightly sighing in disappointment at the sight of the two classes a week of Soccer League ─ Honestly, two classes in Economics would help everyone better! ─ she put the timetable into her bag and went to the dorms. Few knew it, but she wasn't too good at soccer.

Asteroskopeio Hall was an old observatory. From there, astronomers would look up, at the infinity of the deep space and the stars so far away. Tanaya found it fitting her, if not symbolic ─ though of course the housing was decided, apparently, randomly. What she hadn't found fitting her was awkward fitting of the furniture in her new room.

Well, that can be overlooked ─ there is something infinitely worse than that.

After unpacking what little she brought from home, she went to walk around the campus. It was still morning and she didn't expect most of the people to come until 1000 or so. Unfolding her umbrella ─ not without an effort, since it was four and a half meters wide when unfolded and not automatic ─ she started measuring slow and steady paces looking up, to the sky...

...So it is settled! You will follow the plan we have decided on and report everything to the system daily, as per usual. I will be in touch with you and I will watch your reports, so make sure you do everything right...

She remembered herself on a meeting with directors she had before departing. Another plan was finalized and set in motion. Kalugin was faithfully fulfilling the efficiency criteria despite more workload. Everything was going smooth, and so, she could leave it running under automated control, completely hands-off. She knew it would work out well ─ on that thought, she passed the Eden Gardens.

Agriculture, huh? Tanaya wondered. Why haven't I thought about agriculture? What's the point of what I do if the people are not fed?

Well, she couldn't think about everything alone. But who could? And who else there was to help her? Director Mikhalevskiy once mocked her, saying she's trying to carry the "White Man's Burden, Socialist Edition". It hurt, but Tanaya never knew why.

Now that she remembered that incident from no one knows how long ago, she only chuckled, going on to mentally recite the "White Man's Burden" ─ she knew the text from her mother in five different editions. While doing that she passed the Terrene Library and turned right, to the barracks and sports grounds. No, she wasn't carrying a "White Man's Burden" ─ everyone in her cliques has their own visions of how to do things right.

Practice is the criterion of truth.

She was about to pass the Barracks ─ but just before that, she stopped noticing the person before her. That person noticed her at the same time.

Before her stood her mother, the Tsardom. They haven't seen each other even since Tanaya bested her and kicked her out, but she could recognize her. And she was sure her mother also recognized her. They looked at each other for about a minute. Their looks conveyed little, but for Tanaya internally it was nothing but pain. Then Tsardom left to the Barracks, her daughter looking her off.

They never reconciled ─ no, they hadn't even tried to patch relations after that brawl a long time ago. Tanaya still hated her mother. And it was possible that Tsardom still hated Tanaya. So on the path to the Stadio, the daughter thought of nothing. Just before it, she turned right again, going towards the Primarius.

...Plan is the law! Fulfillment is duty! Over-fulfillment is honor!...

For some time of her walk she quietly admired the sky, passing Primarius and going by a road passing near Kathreftis Hall. There, she stopped for a moment before going ahead.

She was disappointed she hadn't been grouped with someone she didn't consider an enemy. Or at least placed in a solitary confinement: that would be bad, yes, but not as bad.

And so the next topic emerged in her mind, along with a heptadecagonal oriented graph: 17 vertices, weighted and oriented edges denoting relationships. It was time to count friends around. Or at least those she thought of as friends.

So from Mu-Kal club it's Stors and from the left gang it's Nuna. Two edges. Plus Choc, I guess? 2,5 edges. And Meronia? It wasn't so bad with her recently. Three edges. She didn't knew who of them would she be grouped with. But considering her current neighbor to come, she didn't expect anything good.

And so she returned back to her room and took a seat at the table. It was 0830. 1,5 hours until when she thought the rest would start coming.

Well, here starts another page in my life. She thought, then opened a book on her phone to pass the time.

Eskeiura
Sunday (Arrival), 8:05 AM

It was an entirely foreseeable obstacle that had forced Eskeiura to adjust his plans. A single black ponytail, in fact, fluttering along behind confident footsteps. He had arrived at the campus at roughly the same time as his 'older sister', Lunderfrau, and hung back so as to stay out of her sight. A confrontation with her was not something he fancied right away - not like they were on poor terms, per se, but he couldn't help but feel every interaction with the overbearing woman turned into some sort of confrontation or another. Some part of him wanted to march up and loudly greet her, swallowing his apprehension and spewing it out in a burst of bile and boisterousness, but Eskeiura decided against this course of action. In the case of his 'dear sister', discretion was the better part of valor - perhaps the only time one would see him make that choice. So, he followed from behind for a time, from what he imagined to be a safe distance, letting her enter the Primarius while split off to the side of the path, pretending to admire the shrubbery beside the campus's entryway. After about five minutes of trying to identify various flowers, and then another five of trying to get a wayward groundskeeper to cease identifying flowers for him, he decided to follow.

Cautiously approaching the Primarius, he tilted his head to take in the architecture, which inspired a mixture of disdain and appreciation in him, but was torn from his musings on the gaudy facade immediately as he entered, assailed by staff members who guided him through the necessary paperwork, then handed him his weekly schedule. It seemed light to him - 4 hours of class per day, for just three days a week? He would have to look into the optional course, otherwise things would get boring, fast.

Eskeiura looked around the largely empty space and bid the staff thanks and farewell, deciding to study his surroundings closer, holding a map of the campus up to his face as he set out to explore the nooks and crannies in preparation of later tasks, starting with the Primarius. He wandered the halls for a time before stumbling upon the Solarium. Admiring the morning light streaming through the glass dome above, he wondered what it would look like with the sun directly overhead, or at sunset. A single form sat amidst the stream of sunlight, nose buried in a book; Eskeiura recognized that bob of blonde hair, and wondered if he should go say hello. Not wanting to linger too long, he made a snap decision and walked forward.

"Mērānis!" He called from across the room as he approached Mèronie.

Mèronie
Sunday (Arrival Day), 8:10 AM

Mèronie had watched Lunderfrau pass through, presumably on her way to the hall. She considered greeting the woman, but Lunderfrau walked with purpose and she decided against it. Soon after, she was called to by someone who had made the same decision.

"Mērānis!" Mèronie looked up from her book to see Eskeiura walking across the Solarium. "Eskie!" Mèronie smiled. Eskeiura was a friend. He could talk for hours about the strangest subjects but he was never particularly pushy about his way of doing things. They also went way back in exploration and empire, though not as far as with Produz of course. Thinking of Produz, Mèronie regretted the spat she'd had with Eskie during the 20 Years War and it only occurred to her now that those two would be sharing a room. She'd have to keep an eye on it.

"Il est bon de vous revoir, mon chéri." She spoke, mostly to herself, as she quickly stuffed her book back in her bag. She sprung up to meet Eskeiura as he reached the table, nearly coming up to his height. She kissed him on the cheek and sat back down with him. "Isn't it exciting to be here? It can be so hard to get everyone together in one place." Suddenly, her eyes lit up. "Oh!" She whipped a timetable out of her pocket. "Show me yours?"

Carelia

8:15 am

After locking the doors of her car, Carelia deftly hoisted a trio of duffel bags and strode across the front lawn and through the open doors of the Primarius building. She collected her personal timetable from the front desk, and a quick inquiry pointed her to an adjacent desk, where she passed off the two larger bags to a clerk who seemed rather nonplussed at their weight.

“Take good care of ‘em, will ya? Registration’s in the side pocket here".

The hefty duffels held a good half-dozen of her prized possessions- an assortment of various firearms, all heavily customized and lovingly cared for. She didn’t feel keen on having her little friends out of reach during her time at the university, but they’d at least be nice and safe over in the campus arsenal. Deciding to take care of the remainder of her cargo before anything else, she immediately slipped out a side door and made a beeline for the old observatory-turned-dormitory that would be her home for the next few months.

Image

She was in a pleasant mood. The morning breeze was wonderfully refreshing, and she was feeling especially comfortable in her favorite jacket. The greenery of the campus was admirable; Asteroskopeios looked quite picturesque as well, both inside and out. A fresh start and all the opportunity that came with it was just around the corner.

Her high spirits came crashing down as she reached her room, opened the door, and was immediately reminded of-- and confronted by-- the single thing about going to OU that made her blood run cold. “Ah, fuck.” she muttered under her breath. Of all the possible roommates she could have been assigned, why did it have to be her? Anybody else would've been fine. Even someone like miss high-and-mighty Lunderfrau or that control freak Zanaro would be easier to live with. She didn't have quite as much specific beef with even those two.

The room’s occupant looked up from her phone and fixed Carrie with a blank stare. Carrie stared back. After a few long seconds, a small grimace appeared on Tanaya’s face. “Oh. It’s -you-.”

“Yeah, it’s me.”

Carelia paused for another moment, then made up her mind. She strode across to what she supposed was her half of the room and deposited her remaining baggage in the closet. There'd be time to unpack later. Right now, she didn’t want to deal with the damn snake’s bullshit so early in the morning.

"Touch anything that's mine and you're dead." she growled.

With the warning given, she turned around and quickly exited the room before an inevitable fight started up. She tried to scrub thoughts of countless past clashes with her eternal nemesis from her mind, then decided she'd take a nice and scenic tour of campus and see if she couldn't run into someone she was on better terms with. Carrie doubled back to the Primarium at a more relaxed pace and began humming a tune.

I've been looking for freedom,
I've been looking so long;
I've been looking for freedom,
Still the search goes on...

I've been looking for freedom,
since I left my hometown;
I've been looking for freedom,
Still it can't be found…

The girl had been just a little disappointed that the old squad wouldn’t be here with her, but she was no stranger to making new friends. Besides, her dearest sister was here with her.

Speaking of which- Carelia grinned as she meandered into the Solarium and spied a familiar short form. Two familiar shortstacks, in fact. She didn't have too much connection with Eskeiura herself, but knew him well enough through association; her sister was quite the socialite. The little knight was of the eccentric sort, but had a certain energy that impressed Carelia.

"Oh là là, mais quelles sortes de petits pays avons-nous ici?" She declared loudly as she strode up to Eskeiura and Mèronie. Carrie chuckled as she met her sibling in a tight embrace. "Good to seeya too, sis."

Tanaya
Sunday (Arrival Day), 0840

In contrast to her comrades, Tanaya liked very few people and four people had the honor of being disliked the most.

She saw Lund as an arrogant elitist swine somewhat like her mother, but, truth be told, they haven't interacted that much. Then, there were Zanaro and Jash, who were similar to each other in her eyes. Both archaic, stuck in the long past of their outdated beliefs and refusing to face the bright future ─ the fact that she herself didn't know how would that "bright future" look like was swiped under the hood. And both were obstacles in her grand design; thus, both had to be convinced to embrace her ideas and ideals, one way or another. Zanaro was just the bigger offender for her bigger share of hostility, despite Jash repealing Tanaya's overtures some time ago.

Yet even with all of that said, Tanaya had her share of unspoken empathy towards those three as well. Perhaps her classical upbringing by her mother played its part or the fact that her own ideas had deep roots in certain religions of old, like untarnished Beoism-Theoism, or maybe because together, them four had something in common between each other. And despite any perceived archaism, she didn't feel anything for Eskeiura, no less "archaic" in her eyes.

But there was the fourth person. One who embodied the world Tanaya denounced. One she had zero empathy to whom. One she would love to kill on sight, even if to die herself. If Tanaya was a snake, that person was an ape, a gorilla.

And that person, of all other people, just had to be her dorm neighbor!

As much as she disliked Tero, she would prefer him instead of that person. At least they were of the same clique. "Let's scream at one another, it's much easier and cheaper than fighting." Of course, someone like Lykens or Ascolla or Oceania would be even better, but neither of those three was to be around. But no! Of all the people around, it was her.

Tanaya didn't forget about it, but when Carelia arrived she was taken by surprise ─ it was well before the ETA she had set. Fortunately, the scene was short and her unwanted neighbor disappeared just as fast as she appeared.

That was close... Tanaya sighed heavily in relief. I wonder if there's anyone else around?

True, staying in her room would minimize the chances of meeting Carelia again. But the meeting also made her doubt her expectations. It was safe to assume that at least someone is around now. She glanced at her watch, strapped umbrella to her belt and went to the Asteroskopeio observation deck first.

There she found a familiar figure.

"Stors! Delighted to see you, how's it going?" She called her while approaching her.

Tero Malstreciga
~9AM, Sunday (Arrival Day)

Tero's sportscar (980 horsepower, quad-turbocharged 16 cylinder engine, and anti-scratch red paint, of course) slowly pulled towards the parking, and as it did he looked up at the Primarius building and the students entering. It was both a matter of seeing, and being seen.

After comfortably cruising into a space in the emptier side of the parking, he shut the car off and leaned back into the seat, staring into the roof. He sighed deeply, then opened the glovebox. He quickly grabbed something out and, fumbling with it in his hands, brought it up to his nose. A sniff later, and he was stepping out of the car. He put on a backpack, and grabbed a full duffel bag in either hand, closing the door with his shoulder.

Tero Malstreciga walked up the steps of the Primarius Building and the administrator put his timetable in his shirt pocket for him as he entered. Pushing straight along, he passed through the Solarium (politely nodding to the gaggle there) out into the campus grounds. He walked for a few minutes, passing under the bridge of Kathreftis and musing on how comfortable the hall looked, and how much less yelling there would probably be there.

Arriving at the Observatory, he quickly found his shared room, and noted that Storsnia's stuff was already there. He dumped his bags on the bed and headed up to the observation deck, eager to scope out how "chill" his roommate would be. Getting there, he saw Storsnia already in conversation with Tanaya. He sighed. They were usually able to just not talk about their different opinions, but much more than weather chat was now off the table. Either way, he approached the pair.

"Hey. Storsnia, Tanaya." He looked out the open observation bay door. "It's a pretty good view of the campus, huh?"

"Stay the Course"

Sunday (Arrival Day), 8:45 AM

Jashnagar, jewel of the sea as he had been called, reached over and heard the distinct pop! of his car door opening. He stopped, turned the radio off, and gave the little Pa'ea dancer attached to his dash a final flick before stepping out of the vehicle. He almost forgot himself, when he ducked awkwardly back in and popped the trunk from the inside.
The dancer kept jiggling.

"It's colder than a remember." Jash said to himself, rubbing his shoulder. The morning chill was a little stronger than he was used to, even with the sun smiling down upon him. Still the campus view was just as idyllic as he had remembered, even from the parking lot. His single visit as a child was ingrained firmly in his mind. The sound of metal croaking brought his attention back to his car. He looked over to see his side-mirror dangling by a thin cord of wire, duct-tape, and glue from its shell.
With an amused chuckle he reached over and popped it back into place. For now.
The car was an old convertible in sea blue, fit with a cream-colored hard top. It had seen better days — chipped paint, scratches in the roof, and troublesome mirrors marked the age. Yet Jash loved it. It was gift given after his civil war, long before he could actually drive, and countless hours of tropical maintenance, wheeled beach sand, and radio-blasted cruising intensified his feelings.

He moved over to the trunk and pulled out a couple heavy duffel bags, one which he threw over his shoulder. The other he'd carry in one hand, but first he had to remove something more important than his clothing.
Despite OU's campus setting, Jash had found it prudent to bring his surf board to school. Would he use it? Could he use it? He did not know. But did he need it? Hell yes, and he had been determined not to show up without it.

He grabbed his stuff and headed up through the walkways into campus. Ten steps in and he realized he first had to see administration — with all his stuff taken out of the trunk.
Too late now.

Jashnagar lugged his way up the thoroughfare. A few scores of people were milling about, and as usual Jash's clothing drew a few glares as he pathed his way. Today, arrival day, he aimed to represent. He wore a soft yellow top, little more than the robes of a Mahkeen field hand, complimented with a dark blue sash. The sash matched his tawa. The garment, blue with white waves patterned across it, was wrapped around his waist and tied in the front, coming down to his calves. On his head he wore an orange turban, in the style of merchants as was appropriate for his location. The color he had selected carefully, the latest Bas'kan was a member of the Avalaran after all.

Upon reaching the Primarius building, his arms had already begun to strain against the weight of his collective belongings. Deciding not to risk an incident, he began the registration process with administration. After finishing the verbal questionnaire he shot for his schedule.

"Hey cous, could you, uh —" he nodded downward, still clinging to bag and board. Unamused, the administrator slipped the schedule into the fold of his shirt. "Thanks."

Image

He rushed his way across towards his dorm. Kathreftis Hall already had a remarkable look about it, having been the most recent of the dormitories constructed. Jash had heard that here is where others from his continent had been placed, but the fire in his arm muscles was already clouding deeper thought. Finding his room door, he propped his surf board up against the wall and dropped his held bag with a relieved sigh. Letting the burn fizzle out, he opened up the door and took a step inside. Besides the pre-placed furniture, the room was mostly devoid of decor save for the new glint of everything inside.

There was many benefits to having an individual room, but the one that came forefront to Jash's mind was the ability to decorate and stylize however one wanted, within the bounds of the school rules, of course. His thoughts swam along ideas on the subject as he brought his stuff in and stepped over to the singular window on the far side. Looking out it, a concept that had lurked in the ethereal shadows of his sub-conscious suddenly burst through.
Dad is here

It had been a long time since he had seen his father, and he wasn't so sure how he should feel on the subject. Facing this revelation and the enormity of free time he had before him on the first day, Jashnagar walked back and quietly sat down on his bed.

Sunday AM

Strands of blonde hair before her face as she watched the blood drip from her hand. The cold blade slid across her palm as she hardly even flinched at the pain. Ackesia sat emotionless in her black bathrobe with hood over her bed-messy blonde hair and blue night gown while slicing her hand open over the stone offering plate next to her bed. Above her pictures and paintings of ancestors dating back to the 1700s looked over their young blue-eyed heir as she quietly gave them the necessary blood sacrifice they required.

“Ancestors….” She droned as she looked up at the images of her distant relations with empty expression. It was her tradition to consult the ones who came before her, a tradition that required sacrifice and reflection. Ack breathed in the incense she burned during her early morning offering as the light streamed in her dorm room window in Frourio Hall at Olympian University. The only witness to this odd ritual Ack performed alone and in absolute secrecy was the full bottle of prescription Republisol sitting on her night stand next to her, staring at her in “TAKE TWICE DAILY FOR BIPOLAR DISORDER” but also very much unopened.

Produz will be angry…

She thought as she stared up at a painting of a fisherman and his family, the oldest known link of her family line. Far had Ackesia come since the days of being fishermen, now she sat there in dark robes in a rich dorm whispering her secrets to the dark spirits of her ancestors. She knew too that Produz would be home soon, the strange but entertaining man she roomed with at school. While he provided her with entertainment when she required, money if she was clever enough to con him out of it, and generally made sure she did not go off the deep end, he often was also very judgey. This judgey behavior often made Ack sort of bitchy, which Produz called being “irrational” yet Ackesia took sharp exception to that.

She heard a lot of other voices outside. The world was waking up and it was no longer covered in the shroud of night as it was when she woke to begin the ritual. Soon he would return. She looked down between her wispy blonde bangs at her blood covered hand and large knife of similar blood cover.

“Oh.” Her eyes furrowed as she watched each drip hit the stone offering plate.

She looked over the rest of her dorm, a virtual antithesis of itself as on the other western side of her bed it was a melody of modern decoration and posters of half-naked rock and roll chicks.

Putting the knife down Ack cleaned up the offering plate before Produz saw what she was doing, he couldn’t see what she was doing. The small girl toiled around her dorm in an illogical manner for a while in delirium while trying to hide her morning ceremony from her roommate and prepare for the day. She would manage to clean up from her ceremony but still be standing there with bleeding hand in dark robe and blue night gown when Produz would eventually return.

Produz had had a long day, he felt awkward entering the school again after a while not seeing much of anyone spare for a few close friends. His high school years still haunt him as they were a time of ups and downs, sitting on top of the world and getting kicked to the very bottom. He's attempted to keep himself in line since he left and entered university, but it's been hard to shave off one of the most infamous reputations at the school. Produz now stands a man of towering ego and crushing insecurity. His problems with his past have recently been halted by a complicated relationship with his roommate Ackesia, who Produz is actually quite fond of, however he can't exactly put his mind to what he truly wants. Currently the situation is an awkward non-official thing, that hasn't stopped them from "showing their affections" a few times. Aside from that Produz tries to care as much as he can for Ackesia, which is why he hasn't pushed this issue of "what are we". Again though, Ackesia treated Produz to a unsurprising surprise as Produz put his key in the lock and opened the door.

He opened the door to Ackesia with despondent look, bloody hand, and in a dark hooded bath robe. Produz had heard of similar actions before from Ack, however he rarely had to deal with them as he tried to keep Ackesia in line out of fear how others, most who viewed Ackesia as a quite innocent girl, may react and blame him, however he was still worried about her and rushed in quickly dropping the bag to help Ack, if he even could, his skill was more preventing these instead of dealing with them when they happened. He spun Ack around on the bed to face him as he grabbed her shoulders and took the hood off of her.

"Aquesia, god dammit, I'm sorry I couldn't be here, hold on let me help you". Produz quickly jumped to the main lights to turn them on and came into the bathroom to pick up a washcloth. After quickly wetting it and coming back to Ack, he held her bleeding hand with the washcloth.

"Sorry if I'm not good at this, I normally don't deal with your, things, as they're happening".

Ackesia
Sunday AM

As Produz spun her around onto her bed after dropping his bag at the door Ackesia was a reminded of the few distinct times he had placed her on a bed when she was not bleeding profusely. She day dreamed about it a bit while she heard the water running in the bathroom. It was not long before Produz came back with a wash cloth to wipe off her hand and profusely apologize for not being there to prevent her "things". But while she sat on the bed in nothing but a bath robe and night gown she smiled down at Produz.

To Produz it would look like a sweet caring smile, but inside the mind of Ackesia it went more like "he-he, why clean myself up when I have him to do it for me." sort of expression. Her eyes followed his tender caring for her hand as he frantically tried to tend to her needs. School was not going to be half bad after all. She was worried about coming to school with the "other" Lirans. The cool preppy kids from the west who thought they ruled over the world while poor little Ackesia sat herding her pet goats in the east as a young girl, but it was recently after she grew up a bit that the previously unknown girl realized she had a special characteristic of energetic and limitless resourced beauty , something the western kids like Produz could not resist.

Ackesia self admittedly used it to her advantage, but up until now she still was coming into her own with it, mostly practicing on the poor sap that knelt before her in humble reverence to her hand. Sure she had to play dirty sometimes, but she got her own kicks out of it.

"Duzzy." She looked at him wide eyed. "Don't be mad.... but I haven't taken my medicine this morning...." She looked at him with the most manufactured expression of guilty that a sub-5 ft girl with big blue eyes and shining blonde hair could give.

"And I need food to take it with too." She rocked side to side at her robe covered shoulders.

Produz sighed, he's a fair bit disappointed. He proceeded to look as Ack in the eyes and left out a quick exhale. "It's fine I suppose, take them now then at least. Actually, you know what Aquesy? In the long term I hate doing stuff like this for us, and sometimes my insecurities make me think you hate me actually, but do you want to go to Sérgio's tonight? I got a fair bit of cash on hand. It's the place that makes the Viosinho wine that I bring back to the dorm sometimes for us".

Produz could never tell if Ack was in a good mood or not, except when making love. However if it was the latter, he wanted to treat her. He's told himself he's probably being a submissive bastard but it was worth it if it stopped her from harming herself and it made both of them happy.

Ackesia
Sunday AM

Internally Ackesia had a long drawn out eye roll. Of course this sappy bastard is getting all sensitive on her again, thinking she was harming herself vice what she really was doing. But he couldn't know about all of that. If anything this put her in a better position. Externally Ack was being her cute little self, a wide smile creeping across her face for his benefit as she took one of the pills. Her little throat glurped as the Republisol went down it and she closed her eyes and twitched her head to the right as a feeling of calm fell back over her and her expression returned to normal. She both liked and hated this feeling it gave her, while she did not feel like herself, she was certainly more deadly and calculated over her emotions when she was on it. "Duzzy" as she called her roommate when she felt the need to apply some extra sauce to her sentences looked pretty sad knelt before her while she sat on her bed.

Shrugging off the hot black robe she leaned over towards Produz and planet a kiss on his cheek. Quickly adjusting one of the spaghetti straps that fell off her bare shoulder. Ack realized she needed to give him some assurance he was somewhat in control and make him believe he had influence over her.

"I could never hate you Duzzy." She said as saucily as she could. It was true of course, she did not hate the man. He was very entertaining in a variety of ways and took her places and bought her things. He was perfect for her right where she needed him. As he mentioned it she recalled the wine that Produz would bring back for them on nights he really wanted to get to her. It was not half bad, and made it even easier to think he was being sly with her. But Ack always was in control, though the warnings on the side of her meds clearly said do not mix with alcohol.

"I feel better, but I am a bit hungry now. Thought dinner tonight sounds amazing though, you are so classy with the places you know about." Produz had her at the word cash.

"I figured". Produz jokingly scoffed. However he still always felt he was being the bad guy, it was his fault, he had to make up for what he did. It's not that it wasn't justified, he had hurt so many people and he suffered the consequences for it, he was stripped of most of what he cared about in his swift and painful downfall from the most influential person in school to a person everyone knew but despised. In the coming years, he had rebuilt himself, he was a good person nowadays. He was quick to judge and a bit filter-less at times, but the second he recognized it he stopped and felt horrible for it. Maybe a bit too much nowadays, but he felt that's what he had to do. The scars of his younger years still haunted him.

Produzland took off his jacket for a minute then kneeled back down to Ack. He lightly put Ack's arms on his shoulders as he kissed her neck. "In the meantime though, I'm going to assume you haven't eaten today yet, wanna ask if Carrie wants to bring breakfast, or... a maybe in a short while?", Produz said promiscuously.

Ackesia
Sunday AM

The sadist inside Ackesia found this amusing, Duzzy here swooping in to save the poor girl who he believed to be hurting herself because she was having an episode, to only a few minutes later be up on her neck ready to give her a good annexation. Nothing really changed with some people, though Ack wondered if Duzzy could really help it sometimes as she felt his lips along the soft skin of her neck.

She "hmmmed" in a high pitched way.

Of course all the ritual and knives and blood did sort of turn her on. She put her arm around him and scratched his back passionately before laying backwards in her bed with a smile to her roommate, a twinkle in her blue eyes as her knees came to touch either of his shoulders. She stretched towards the nightstand behind her head, the silk of her one-piece nightgown riding up her body as she reached for her phone to shoot Carrie a quick text.

"I'll tell her to bring some food soon... but not too soon...." She looked at him as if she understood.

After sending the text Ack looked at him impatiently as he sat knelt between two soft white pillars staring at his own alter.

"But you know Carrie... she has a funny way of being earlier or late, but never exactly on time."

HEY CARRIE-SAMA! Bring food :3 Duzzy wont feed me and he is starring at me like he is hungry too! - 9:35am

Produz chuckled, her knees at his shoulders and neck too far away he knew what she intended. "Lets just hope she's a bit late this time."

Ackesia after a moment took a long drawn in gasp before exhaling loudly, her fingers in his hair.

She audibly giggled as she admired Produz’ work ethic. Perhaps Carrie would be surprised to see them like this if she happened to arrive too soon. Something about the thought of that situation really drove Ack towards excitement.

“Lets hope so.” Ack gasped again. “But just in case, don’t spend all your money in one place.” She looked down at Produz and winked. Before the two knew it, things were accelerating in ways neither of them anticipated before the morning sun rose. Time passed without much thought outside of eachother for a long while…

Mèronie

Mèronie had been sitting in the Solarium quietly, reading her book. It was actually a quite interesting historical story about grandpapi, though she was sure if she asked him about it he'd confirm it to be absolute bunk. Drawn completely into the story (L'Empire was currently besting the northern tribes) she didn't notice as people entered the building and passed her towards their dorms.

Until, that is, someone called out. Mèronie grinned as she heard a familiar voice speaking in the mother tongue. She stuffed the book in her bag and looked up eagerly to see Carelia approaching. Immediately charging, she bounced into the embrace her much more imposing sister offered. She giggled as she was lifted into the air, feet dangling free. “Je suis tellement content que tu sois là.” The strong arms of her sister tightened in a comforting way, before eventually allowing Mèronie back in contact with the ground.

Leaning up on her toes, Mèronie kissed Carelia on the cheek. "It is good to see you again." Pausing for a moment, she considered her next words. "Have you met your roommate yet?"

Carelia

Carelia grimaced as she was briefly reminded of her existence. "Aw, Don't remind me. I saw her for a little bit, yeah."

Mèronie sighed. "Well, I just hope you two can try not to break anything."

"Yeah, we'll see..." Carelia let out a breath, then perked up. "So, how about my dear little sister? Have you settled in yet?"

She shook her head. "I haven't taken my bags to the dorm yet, it was just really pretty in here." Mèronie looked up at the glass ceiling for a moment. Looking back, she smiled sweetly. "Do you want to come with me?"

"Sure thing! I'd been thinking of exploring campus anyways."

The buzz of a phone drew the larger girl’s attention. Fishing it out of her jacket, she glanced at the screen and raised an eyebrow. "Oh, looks like Ack and Prod arrived too. Y'all are in the same building, aren't you?" After replying with a simple ‘thumbs-up’ emote, she deftly shoved the device back into the depths of her jacket.

Mèronie nodded innocently. "Oui! I didn't see them come in, I must have been distracted by the book." Starting to pick up her bags, she visibly struggled.

"Hey, let me get some of those." Carelia hoisted several bags over her shoulders in a single swift motion, then grinned at her sister. "Right! Say, have you seen a Cafe or a MacRonald's anywhere around here?"

Mèronie was relieved when her sister effortlessly grabbed her bags. "No, I don't think so." She furrowed her brow for a moment before seeming to come to an exciting idea. "Oh! Let me cook for you!"

Carelia’s face lit up as she snapped her fingers once. "Now there's an idea! Let's do it together. I did ask since Ack said she's hungry. Honestly, she really could use a few hearty meals.”

Mèronie nodded. "A group meal then. Maybe an onion soup?" The pair excitedly exchanged ideas for meals, soon joined by possible desserts, as they started to walk towards the dorm.

After depositing the luggage in Mèronie’s room, Carelia headed downstairs to meet her friends. Although her fellow founding members would be absent, Carelia was looking forward to a good old RESP get-together.

Finding herself in front of the appropriate door, Carelia tested the handle. Finding it unlocked, she wasted no time in opening it and striding through. “Yo! How’s my favorite--” The greeting died in her throat as she noticed the state of the room’s occupants.

The girl swiftly backtracked into the hallway and closed the door, a smile frozen on her face. Her expression gave way to a more dangerous look as she promptly drew a large knife from within her jacket, then kicked open the door.

Ackesia grinned, but no one would be the wiser as her face was pressed into the sheets with the only lace on her body was clumped under her armpits. She exhaled deeply as she saw the sharp long knife, there was something about knives that excited her. With her rear in the air she noticed Produz stopped at about this time, a shame as Ack really liked the idea of knives being part of this, or maybe even Carrie for that matter.

“Prod, you dirty-” Carelia growled.

Ack turned her head to the side so that her mouth wasn't pressed into the bed.

“Good morning Carrie-sama!” She grinned brightly, not even bothering to change from her position as Carrie entered the room. “Duzzy said he had something for me if I was really hungry! But he ended up saying he was hungrier and couldn't wait. But did you bring better food!?” She smiled innocently.

"You-- I-- Why--" Carelia sputtered for a few seconds, then fixed Produzland with a deathly glare.

A loud smack accompanied by a disgruntled "Ouch" echoed throughout the building.

She let out an irritated sigh as she strode out the door. “...Just get dressed. Meet us in my sister’s room. We’re cooking something.”

“I hope it's not onion soup.” Ackesia groaned as she rolled over in the bed and lay on her back for a few moments to catch her breath. “Produz… , it's breakfast time.” She finally shot up from her bed and grabbed the black robe he had ripped off her to cover herself with and stride down the hall towards’ Mer’s room.

Mèronie, in the meantime, had been putting on a hearty meal for all four. In her excitement to cook for her friends, she had perhaps gone a little overboard. Either not noticing, or pretending not to notice the awkward energy, she kissed each on the cheek and indicated to the food before them. “Bisque or Croque Monsieur, then I’ll caramelize the Crème brûlées!” She smiled sweetly to the gaggle entering the room.

Carelia’s eyes practically glittered at her sister’s words, awkwardness temporarily forgotten. “My favorite! Lemme help with that.”

Ackesia
Sunday AM

"Don't be long Produz." Ackesia gave a two fingered salute as she stood in the doorway wearing her comically over sized black robe. Her hair was a mess, a toothpick was in the corner of her mouth, and a apathetic look covered her face as she left her roommate dazed on the floor after the smackdown by Carrie-sama. Striding down the hall to Carrier and Mer's room Ackesia hadn't even bothered to get shoes on, only her oversized robe of faux fur flowed with each stride around her legs as she found the aroma of Merish smelling food. It certainly did not smell like coffee and a platter of bread, meats, and cheeses, but after all the morning's activities Ack had worked up quite an appetite.

"Hello again Carrie." She walked into the room with a bright smile, tooth pick still in her mouth and skin glistening in sweat. "And oh... hey Merrronie." She winked at the girl tending her soup, knowing Mer had dated Produz at one point in time. While Ack by no means had intentions of dating Produz official (she kept that card close to her chest) she did enjoy shenanigans with him enough to prod at some of Mer's jealousy. Ackesia stepped closer to the fixture the soup was in and inspected it. Her face while not showing any signs of disgust was certainly skeptical of soups for breakfast, but clearly it was a western thing.

"Sooooooo tomato soup?" She asked. "Thanks for bringing it by I guess, I am famished." A grin came across her face.

Mèronie smiled and kissed Ack on the cheek. Did she have any idea at all what was going on? It was hard to tell.

"Ma cherie Aquesie, come sit." After Ackesia's comment on the soup, Mèronie shook her head. "Not tomato soup dear, c'est real Bisque. It has crab in it! Here, try it and you will see." A two-handled cup filled with the creamy soup was soon in front of Ackesia.

"For something more solid..." Mèronie then presented a large platter of hot sandwiches with ham and melted cheese, topped with further shredded cheese. "Croque Monsieurs!" She announced with joy, before coming to a realization and putting down the platter for a moment, turning and digging into a cupboard she had already appropriated as a makeshift pantry. She withdrew a handful of eggs, and held them up as she asked, "Perhaps you would prefer Croque Madame?"

Tanaya
Sunday (Arrival Day).
Time is... starting to blur together.

Tanaya's relationship with her Mu-Kal neighbors wasn't exactly smooth. Even if she stated friendship and many times offered her help (even if to get rejected), there was always something unhealthy in the air ─ distrust mixed with prejudices. Nevertheless, when all the nations in Mu-Kal finally joined their efforts in Mu-Kal Union Club, she was in ─ regardless of one certain member.

Only once has she more or less seriously talked with Tero Malstreciga about their beliefs. It was a big luck she maintained her commitments to Mu-Kalese back then ─ otherwise, someone might not be there and even back then it certainly wasn't to be Tanaya. Since then she despised him deep inside while maintaining her default facade of cold courtesy. Basically, that's all one could want to know about their relationship.

As for Storsnia, Tanaya liked her and usually refrained from default facades and occasionally they even had a drink together. But she did suspect it wasn't mutual, so their conversations occasionally were a bit awkward ─ this one, however, was more or less smooth. Until Tero approached them.

"Ah, Tero... Scenic view indeed. Delighted to see you." She wasn't delighted. Fortunately, she didn't have to continue this conversation, receiving a phone call.

"Damn, they just don't get off me." She said, visibly disappointed. "Sorry, guys, have to leave you alone. Oh, you're always welcome at our and Carelia's place, Stors. See y'all."

She disappeared in the halls, apparently picking the phone, but the soon she was out of sight, she dropped the call. It wasn't from a real man anyways. A fake call she used to disappear from a place she didn't like under a convenient excuse ─ everyone knew she was a busy one ─, triggered by a button on one of her bracelets she could sneakily touch with hands crossed or resting anywhere.

The call the very next minute, however, was very much real.

"Tanaya... Yes... Good, await at the entrance."

At the entrance to the campus stood a man in green field uniform and a kepi, carrying a steel case attached to him via manacle. Tanaya approached him with haste, parasol on the belt, unlocked the manacle with a key, signed a paper he turned to her, took the case and disappeared in the Primarius. Clearing the case with security she made it back to her room with the same haste, paying zero mind to surroundings.

Tanaya wasn't exactly fond of cooking. Not like she couldn't cook or it was unpalatable ─ she just deemed it time-consuming. In busier times it wasn't uncommon for her to be subsisting mostly on food bars and some milk-based drink with cocoa, grounded cereals and some other things ─ if she remembered to eat at all. And even in more peaceful times it rarely was anything elaborate, though she never resorted to subsisting on junk food, preferring to starve... uh-h, fast.

So in that case were the same food bars and cocoa, which she always had in plenty in stockpiles. She couldn't rely on anyone ─ she didn't have Meron or someone else ─ and didn't expect herself to remember or to bother to cook, especially amidst any mind work.

Placing the case to the side of her bad, out of her neighbor's possible sight, she left the room to take a walk and see if she could by chance encounter anyone else ─ though she wasn't certain if the meeting would be of a pleasant one.

The grand parasol was unveiled and she dived deep in the abyss of thoughts. Not like she was in a hurry.
