I think the implications of your sig sum it up perfectly (Neither China is anything other than an authoritarian occupying force, and HK wants a lot more than just being part of another government that will use them) - its just gaslighty nonsense.
I think a lot of it is way too much to get to in these forums though, which I really shouldn't even be posting on given that this is blatant trolling.
