When the polls closed at 7pm tonight the polls showed that the Nouveau Protégé were still in the lead. The Democratika Actioné a conservative party was neck and neck with Protege. Hearing that the progressives were still in the lead was a blow to the moral of the DA. However at 10 tonight, Livonian News Network now shows that the DA is ahead.
Usually when polls close for the night the announcement would be accurate. However the sheer turnout that the Conservatives were able to bring out in to suburbs was extraordinary.
As we head into the third and final day of the election. Nouveau Protege will be on their toes trying to get last minute progressives to the poll. All the DA has to do now is cross their fingers and hope for the best.

Last night Livonian News Network projected that the last day of elections would continue to have conservative votes pouring in. Protege was down by a few ten thousands, and it seemed very unlikely that a change in standing would happen. As of 3pm however, Protégé has garnered thousands of votes. This may be due to the popularly coined "Red SURGE" corresponding with the party's color.
And as polls close at 9pm, Protégé is holding its breath. Hoping that nothing changes for the next few hours.
The elections commission of Societa-Livone Bonne announced that the final count of the popular vote will be announced on Thursday morning.
However, 150 seats are dedicated to regional representatives. This could make or break the election.
Regional representatives are registered as independents. Of course parties still field candidates but it is much more complicated than party chosen representatives elected by closed list proportional.
Instead regional candidates must provide evidence of residence and employment in the area. This may be easier in Livbon, but for the countryside where political apathy is high finding a candidate that is party loyal, and has the community's trust.
Results for the regional elections may take until Friday to be fully released.
