I'll get a post up today.
If anyone wants to interact with her, she'll be in her mansion until nightfall, where she'll probably start looking for other witches and paranormals.
This character who specialises in killing Dark Sparks... She'll be an interesting match.
Current year: 1795

Set in an alternate timeline where less-aggressive and civilised vampires roam Europe and mainly Transylvania, home of the infamous Vlad Draculesi long ago, think of what would happen if JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood meets Game of Thrones meets The Duellists meets War and Peace, Complete with the revolutionary-king-but-also-asshole Dionisie Brancoveanu under tension against his vengeance-lusted brother, now King of Hungary, Ionatan!

I have begun the matchups, starting with the Dark Spark exterminator.

Aldus Laurent vs Dio Brando Dea Brand

The 150-year-old vampire vs the 450-year-old assassin. Beginning with Aldus, he has good hand-to-hand combat skills, especially with weapons. His Cleaning Ritual is designed to seal away dark magic and spirits. The Cleansing Ritual, along with his Warding Magic already makes him a formidable foe against Dea. Aldus' Warding Magic is described as being "Advanced knowledge of defending against physical threats and dark magics via the manipulation of wards, both conjured and runicly inscribed." So he should have the prerequisite information to avoid Dea's bloodsucking and Rhinestone Eyes at the least. These aren't the only spells for Dea, as she is among the more physically impressive witches here. Her strength and agility does not have a direct counter by Aldus, however he can try to match her with his Battle Magic, which temporarily grants a boost in the very same categories that Dea naturally has. Due to this, Dea has the advantage in the long run, and from her descriptions, I place her higher than Aldus mainly due to her endurance.

With the above being Aldus' only listed forms of magic, Dea can once again tip the battle in her favor. Aldus' weaknesses are described as such: "No real skill with elemental magic or the more esoteric schools like foresight"

Elemental magic is one of Dea's main ability. She can freeze herself and cause pain to the enemy if she touches them. That shouldn't be overly difficult as Dea's speed, agility AND high speed regeneration means that killing her would be difficult, and she can easily outlast an opponent. Her mixed martial arts skills are described with brutality and dirtiness. Aldus is a "competent fighter". Make with that what you will, but I say Dea has the upper hand here too.

Finishing thoughts: I didn't mention her Grateful Dead spell as Aldus' Cleansing Ritual should do away with them quick. The Rhinestone Eye spell is iffy in my opinion, but it may work if she can overwhelm Aldus, which I believe her fully capable of doing. Due to this, I vote for Dea taking this fight with mid-high to high difficulty, depending on how serious the two are and how much she has to dig deep into her arsenal of magic

Being the guy who plays Aldus, I’m willing to say you’re probably right. The man is an excellent strike team leader or solo operative and he doesn’t shy away from using mortal weapons to get a job done, but magically he’s not exactly the most enormously powerful. In a straight fight I totally agree that the edge is Dea, if we’re thinking of going by similar rules to Death-Battle.

Dea, id be more than willing to meet up with you if Aldus doesn’t end up having to head to the Faerie world. I think building a dream team to track Tablets would be cool. Even if it is only a tenuous alliance between some members.

Aldus could have been better in this regard if he was a Dark Spark himself. That way he can act akin to an Alucard or Blade

I'm also thinking of bringing in an illusion based witch

I mean, Dark Spark or divine spark doesn’t really define where you draw your morality from or pick your stance. This is a man who has done some very bad shit in order to further the greater Good.

I was referring more towards powers. Remember after your app when OP said that Deva and Dark Sparks are opposites, and that the weaknesses for Deva Sparks are the strengths for Dark Sparks? If you made Aldus a Dark Spark, I was thinking he could naturally have similar qualities to Dea. He would have a much more intimate knowledge of the spells generally used by them, and he wouldn't be as harmed by it.

Karina for example, is a Deva Spark, but personality wise, she may lean more towards being Dark. My point on Blade or Alucard was that they were vampires who hunted other vampires, and that gave them an edge to win

Plus, I imagined if Dea got too overpowered, I have a character who could directly counter her and/or be an archenemy.

Though I'm guessing only one character for now, right?

The Supreme and her immediate allies seem to be the most powerful witches, so if things really get bad, then she can step in. By "only one character", I'm assuming you're asking about the number of apps you can do? I have two characters currently, and the OP hasn't set a limit in that regard

Also, with the notable absence of WhatsamattaU, I think their characters need to be used going forward, and we also have one less player. I'm not sure if Arlo do much more with the Supreme or Aldus, so I'm hoping there's more interactions for the Guardians in the city. I'll have an app for another key Ring witch, which will allow Karina to go venture out to the Tablets on her own

App:
Name: Kairaba Miharo
Gender: Male
Type of Witch (you can be Deva Spark, Dark Spark or Grey Spark, but Greys are EXTREMELY rare): Deva Spark
Appearance:
Image
(I didn't realize how hard it was to find black/African characters until recently)
Species (any supernatural creature or spark-touched human can be a witch): Spark-Touched Human
Age: 720
Magical Spells/Abilities:
Kinetic Energy Manipulation: This is Kairaba's favorite technique and his most dangerous. Kinetic Energy Manipulation has multiple uses. The first being the ability to increase his speed by coating himself with his own magic (which also has the potential to increase strength). He's not as fast as Karina, but is still able to keep up with her. Kairaba can also absorb kinetic energy or transfer it to objects, which can lead to explosive results. The latter is done by quickly flooding the object with energy and then rapidly releasing it, causing an explosion. In the case of the former, Kairaba's magic can be used to increase/decrease the speed of things that he touches. The drawbacks to using KEM is that Kairaba has a limited amount of magic he can utilize for it, making him hesitant to attack with it.

Super Strength: Kairaba is naturally strong due to his decades of training and the boost his Deva Spark gives him. He is far above an Olympic athlete and can fight some weaker magical beasts.

Disintegration: When both of Kairaba's hands grasp a surface for more than 10 seconds, he is able to break down the cells or molecules holding it together. In the case of cells, Kairaba increases the speed in which they die but prevents reproduction, which leads to the gradual decay of the victim. For non-living things, Kairaba inserts his own kinetic energy to interrupt the bonds that molecules have

Sexual orientation (optional): Asexual
Bio: Kairaba was born in 1300; a time when West Africa was experiencing a golden age in terms of trade and expansion of major kingdoms and empires. In the year 1312, Mansa Musa, perhaps the richest person to ever exist, became the ruler of the Mali Empire. His rule brought along riches, fame, and the massive growth of the kingdom. Kairaba became a soldier in 1318, and was on the front lines as Musa conquered endlessely and provided the citizens high quality of life. During his years as a soldier, Kairaba learned that he was Spark Touched when he fought an enemy soldier and disintegrated him with his bare hands. This led to Musa appointing Kairaba as one of his highest ranking personal guards. The latter accompanied Musa on his journeys, such as pilgrimages to Mecca, or donating gold to the locals. When Musa died, the empire survived for another century, but infighting and the nearby Songhai Empire finally led to its collapse. Kairaba associated himself with the new Songhai rulers but quickly became at odds with them and left. During the European Renaissance era and the colonization of Africa, Kairaba did what he could to help the people stay free, but his magic could only go so far. He traveled to the Ottoman Empire, India, and China and wrote accounts of his days on the Silk Road. He settled in Constantinople for 400 years before he became acquaintances with Karina Allegrodo of the Ring.

Strengths: Close quarters combat, intelligence, and self-control
Weaknesses: Weak to Dark Sparks, indecisive and quiet personality, and has an inability to fully trust people and witches
Goals: To keep world peace and ease the tensions between the witch guilds
