Haveldonia is in a state of turmoil. After declaring independence from Kazakah, we were left..well...largely ignored by the Kazakahian government. However several factions have taken formed because of our independence.

The Republicans
This faction hopes to install a democratically elected government. This group holds the most supporters and is based in the city of Newvenmark, an important trading port. John Henkens is rumored to be leading the Republicans.

The Red Socialists
These revolutionaries also desire Haveldonian independence, but wish to found a Socialist government with their leader, Roberto Gaul as head. The Reds hold their base somewhere in the Havel Mountain range, and generally use guerilla warfare tactics

The Loyalists
The Loyalists are the smallest faction and are composed of rich aristocrats and businessmen who would suffer if Haveldonia separates.
