But that's not true. He knew it. This is far from the isolated instances when The East Marches II tries to harras me, then feign ignorance:

It was a clever tool to put your opinion on blast, mock your poor shot at me and throw some credit to somebody who up ended the world merely by being strong. Your attempts to shame me don't work :^)

I've been gone for about a year or so. I can't be expected to remember everything about every one. Re the posting it anyway, that ties into my point about the Nazi takeover of newspapers in Germany. It's absurd to assume everything before 1945 tainted. Even more absurd to claim that something produced before the buyout by the alleged anti-semite means that things retrospectively become such. That's why I'd post even if I knew. It is an excellent political comic with a witty point untainted by any evil "Nazi" influence that could hurt or offend Shar. Hence why I said they'd be better off calling me conservative!

I'm not seeing anything here that is actionable, but it seems like it would be in both of your interests to place each other on your foe list or just avoid responding directly to each other to avoid further escalation in the future.

First The East Marches II responded to my comment with this:

Next, they admits that:

I was being hyperbolic. It is well known for a particular worldview on foreign policy which can best be described as 90s Democrat.

, thus admitting to mean something opposite to what they said in the first comment. Meaning – they were trolling.

Second – no one forced them to respond to my second comment in the way they did, by referencing a notoriously anti-Semitic magazine. But they did just that. Let's not pretend that The East Marches II is not known for their (to put it mildly) unapologetic right-wing views.

Finally. The East Marches II said that they “forgot” what I wrote about myself. Lack of knowledge is no excuse – especially from someone like The East Marches II. Is this now a viable defense?

Is left leaning and 90s democrat incompatible now? That's a common view held by many. At any rate, the fine poster I was replying to made me rethink my characterization. Apparently a change of mind from notoriously left leaning to 90s Democrat is clear evidence of trolling.
