2019 FEIO Suvurnian Open

The Suvurnian Open is a major Chess tournament run by FEIO (Fédération d'Echecs des Iles Occidentales - Western Isles Chess Federation), which invites the top-rated masters of each nation to come together and play to see who will be crowned Isles Champion. Entrance is open to any and all member states of the Western Isles, with autonomous territories also permitted to take part.

As you may have guessed, this is going to be a chess competition for the Western Isles region. What makes it different from other leagues, however, is that we will actually be playing the games ourselves via a website such as LiChess or Chess.com.
How will it work?
Once signups are finished, I will take stock of the numbers we have registered. If we have enough participants, two pools will be drawn up, if not then we will just be in one group. There will be a round-robin period, wherein everyone will play against everyone else in their group (so as to give everyone a chance to play more than one game and to have a better idea of who the stronger players are). A points table will then be drawn up, and then there will be elimination rounds leading up to a final. We will aim for every player to play at least one game a week, which should be achievable.
How the games will be played: Once everyone receives the draw, they organise with their matchup a time to play (or play with unlimited time and then just play over the week when they have time). They will then send in the result to me, as well as the link to the games so that I can write up a quick summary of what happened. This will be done on one of the two websites I mentioned above, probably LiChess because it seems to be easier and more flexible without having to pay for features.
Applications
To apply, just give me the name of your competitor (1 per player) and your LiChess account to make it easier for people to find you for matchups. It takes like a minute to make a LiChess account if you don't have one, just go to www.lichess.org and click on sign up. For example, the participant from Suvurnia:
