Barcelona-El Prat Airport is the busiest airport in Catalunya. It is the main airport serving the Barcelona metro area. It is a major port of entry for travelers coming to Catalunya. The airport itself is only 9.9 miles from Plaça de Catalunya. The airport accounts for 52% of all air travel coming to Catalunya. Sitting in the delta of the El Llobregat, it is surrounded by farmland and beaches.

Barcelona-El Prat Airport is owned by the Catalonian Airport Authority, a subsidiary of the Catalonian Government. Catalonian Airport Authority's CEO is Tomàs Salrach i Cioni.

Dear Friends!
Airline "Trolleborg Wings" forwarded our pre-agreed application for flying into your airport. We will make seven flights a week, one a day.

Also We are open to use El Prat as scale for our flight Catarra Airways A320 Flights to Barajas, Santiago, Lisbon and Madeira. A340 flights to Atlanta, Miami, New York and Washignton instead of Barajas depending on the conditions. You're competing with CDG and Amsterdam Schipol.
In exchange We offer la Gardia as scale for Catalonia Airways for flights to: El Cairo, Tunis, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, La Valetta and Nicosia.
