Welcome to Antaras, the role-playing and world-building region.
We are an independent, vibrant RP region that strives to create great stories and interesting RP through regional collaboration. take on more important roles in the region. Much of our activity takes place in the NS Forums.

  Antaras is all technology, a closed role-playing community. In Antaras, the "blank" parts of the map cannot be ignored. Worldbuilding and RP in Antaras are completely global.

  The region was founded as a way of exploring race, geopolitics, and culture in an environment that required much more imagination and thinking than most other regions. Are ideologies and religions unique to particular cultures or are they more shaped by material factors? How central is geography to the development of society? And how clothing, music and national identity symbols would evolve.

  Today we are proud to:

Antaras's huge map was deliberately made specifically for mass colonization and exploration. Most rivers, seas, oceans, bays, similarly have no name, intentionally to give you a name.

° Refrain from creating a state with a GDP (nominal or PPP) in excess of thirteen trillion dollars. This does not mean that you should try to get as close to that number as possible.
° Your current population on the population page is understood to be your current population.
° Don't ask Fora to create a bunch of new islands just for you.
° Nations can currently have colonies; these colonies must be distant and tiny.
° Human claims take precedence over NPCs that are graphed.
° Technically speaking, any uncontrolled map territory is an NPC; some are simply without names and statistics.
° However, you can request an exception to the RP rule. But you must give a valid IC and RP reason.

Despite its dark background,Antaras is home to a friendly, diverse group of individuals.
We have people all the way from North America all the way to the Balkans! Most of our communication is through our RMB, which we strongly encourage to join. With our canon, we talk about everything from politics to our daily lives to the latest memories. The only pity is that we had to leave the region and rebuild it from nothing.
The region promotes we accept all ideologies.

We also engage in fun offline activities like multiplayer Civ V and Europa Universalis IV games. We all know each other.
