Introduction

Welcome to the third edition of The CMFA Melayu Archipelago Cup. The CMFA Melayu Archipelago Cup is the most prestigious football championship in the region of Melayu Archipelago. The championship is organised and managed by the regional football confederation named Confederation Malaya de Football Association (CMFA).

Participation

Any nations who want to participate in the championship must first be an active member of the CMFA and membership to the CMFA is limited to Melayu Archipelago nations only. Therefore, only Melayu Archipelago nations are eligible to participate in the CMFA Melayu Archipelago Cup.

Sign up for the championship in the Regional Message Board and submit your host bid in this thread if you wish to host the tournament. The host will be purely for roleplaying purposes only and the championship will be scorinated by Eraman using the latest edition of xkoranate.

The Kingdom of Eraman offers to host the 3rd Melayu Archipelago Cup.

BACKGROUND
The Kingdom of Eraman is a federal constitutional monarchy consisting of seven kingdoms. Located in Southeast Melayu Archipelago, it is bordered in the north by Singgahmata, west by Urawan, northeast by Soracana Islands and southeast by Mitra and Soma. The kingdom is home to 11 million people.

Football is considered as the number one sport in the country. The local clubs and the national team are followed religiously by the citizens. The national team is currently ranked 77th in the world. If selected as host, six stadiums in six cities across the country will host the matches in the most prestigious tournament in the region.

STADIUMS (from north to south):
1) Daulapura Stadium
Location: Daulapura, Daula
Capacity: 45,000

Daulapura Stadium is the national stadium of Eraman and home of the richest club in the country, Royal Daulapura. Located in the royal capital of Eraman, it is the biggest stadium in the country. The city is the seat of the Daula Dynasty, the ruling family of Eraman. Home of every billionaire in the country, it is the richest city in Eraman. The city offers to host the opening match, both semi final matches and the final match of the tournament.

2) Anara Stadium
Location: Anara, Daula
Capacity: 25,000

Anara Stadium is the second largest stadium in the country and located in the capital city of Eraman as well as the most populous city in the country. It is home of the defending champion of Liga Eraman, Anara Football Club. The city is also the centre of art of the country with colourful graffiti-laden buildings and streets filled with varying performers from musicians, acrobats, magicians and so on. Income inequality is a major problem but the streets are generally safe.

3) Arupura Stadium
Location: Arupura, Aru
Capacity: 20,000

Arupura Stadium is located in the capital city of the State of Aru, the second northernmost state in the country. It is the home of Royal Arupura. The city is the third biggest city in the country after Anara and Daulapura and it is very industry-driven, home of most of the major manufacturing companies from Eraman. If you have a product made in Eraman, chances are it is made in this city. However, this also make the city facing pollution problems. When visiting, wear your mask.

4) Universiti Cittapura Stadium
Location: Cittapura, Citta
Capacity: 15,000

Universiti Cittapura Stadium is located in the state of Citta in Central Eraman. It is the home of Royal Cittapura. Most of the cabinet members and top scholars of the country graduated from the university, making it arguably the number one university in Southeast Melayu Archipelago. The state focuses its spending so much in the university making it the biggest university in the country with state-of-the-art facilities. If your national team plays its match in the stadium, chances are they don't have to step out of the university. Apart from the renowned university, the city is also famous as a family vacation spot for Eramanian, Mitranese and Somanese.

5) Pasirpura Stadium
Location: Pasirpura, Pasir
Capacity: 15,000

Pasirpura Stadium is located in the biggest city in South Eraman. It is the home of Royal Pasirpura. The city is the most popular tourist destination in the country, well known as a resort city as well as a red-light city of the country. The beaches are arguably the most beautiful in the region, the casinos are visited by high-rollers from across the globe and the brothels are state-owned. It is strictly not suitable for family vacation. Located just across the island of Soma in Mitra and Soma, Pasirpura is home to a very large Somanese diaspora.

6) Universiti Vidyapura Stadium
Location: Vidyapura, Vidya
Capacity: 10,000

Universiti Vidyapura Stadium is located in the southermost city in the country inside the second biggest university in the country. It is the home of Royal Vidyapura. Being the southernmost city facing Southern Palm Islands and Mitra and Soma and bordering Urawan, the city is a melting pot of culture. The university is considered number two in the country but attract the most foreign students especially from neighbouring countries.

MELAYU ARCHIPELAGO CUP HOST BID

INTRODUCTION

Mitra and Soma launched its Visit Mitra Year campaign and step up its promotion with a bid to host The Melayu Archipelago Cup.

Mitra and Soma is a federation of two islands; Mitra and Soma. It is located in the Southeastern Melayu Straits. Association football was one of the first sports to gain widespread popularity in Mitra and Soma. The Mitra and Soma League serves as the only active professional league of any sport in the country. The Mitra and Soma national association football team has never participated in any major competitive tournament.

VENUE

The National Stadium in Mitra will be the sole venue for The Melayu Archipelago Cup if we are chosen to host the tournament. With a capacity of 8000 seats, we guarantee tickets will be sold out for every matches. The match atmosphere will be electric, nowhere near like your dull and boring home matches. It will definitely be millions time better than playing in a half-empty 45,000 capacity Daulapura Stadium. Why would you opt to play in front of empty seats?

Tickets allocation will depends on the vote for hosting rights. Nations who vote for us will be allocated 4000 tickets (half of the tickets) while nations who refuse to vote for us will only be allocated 400 tickets (5% of the tickets). The remaining tickets will be given to dignitaries and VIPs from nations who are friendly to us. Your nation will be considered friendly to us if you vote for our bid.

For travelling fans who are unable to get match tickets, afraid not. Big screens will be provided outside of the stadium. If that is packed as well, we recommend you to spend your money in one of our tourist spots (we have lots of that).

Apart from that, the national team from nations who vote for our bid will also be given priority to one of the training facilities owned by our professional domestic football club while the national team from nations who refuse to vote for us will train in school pitches. Other nations who make a host bid for the tournament will train on the street.

TRANSPORTATION

Cities and towns in Mitra and Soma are interconnected by a system of roads and seaborne ferries maintained by the Public Works Authority and patrolled by the Mitra and Soma Community Police. Mitra and Soma has two international airports, the Mitra International Airport in Mitra and the Soma International Airport in Soma.

The national team and travelling fans from nations who vote for our bid will arrive in Mitra International Airport and then transferred to the hotels with coaches and limos provided by our government.

The national team and travelling fans from nations who refuse to vote for our bid will arrive in Soma International Airport in the island of Soma. You will then have to cross to Mitra by ferry. Book your own ferry. We promise to make your journey as hard and unpleasant as possible. So pressure your national football governing body to vote for our bid.

ACCOMMODATION

Being one of the most visited country in the region, Mitra and Soma boasts varying accommodation options from state-of-the-art luxury beachfront resorts to run down hotels. However, almost all of these hotels are located in the city of Mitra.

Of course, priority will be given to nations who vote for our bid with luxury beachfront resorts reserved for friendly national teams and foreign dignitaries while nations who refuse to vote for our bid will be allocated in one of the hotel outside of Mitra.

In case all the hotels are fully booked, travelling fans can camp in one of the many parks and beaches in the island.

ADDITIONAL NOTE

Each nation who vote for our bid will receive 100 million ringgit as a token of appreciation. Not bribery but token of appreciation.

And here we are in the preparation for the upcoming 3rd Melayu Archipelago Cup. It is the third edition of Melayu Archipelago Cup, a national football competition sanctioned by CMFA.

We have delivered our intention to join in the competition as a contenders. And when the hosting bid is open, we encourage ourselves to submit our official hosting bid to the CMFA. We know that it will be our first time to host such a prestigious competition in Melayu Archipelago. And we hope that the CMFA would reconsider our bidding."

General Information

United Kingdom of Pemecutan or Pesamuan Puri Agung Pemecutan is a federal constitutional monarchy island country composed of 3 constituent states and 1 federal capital city. Pemecutan is located in southern sea of Melayu Archipelago and have a maritime border with Labuan Cempaka to its northwest and Southern Palm Islands to its southeast. With around 80,000 km² area and around 20 million population, the nation is among the mid-sized countries in the region. The capital and largest city is Tegal Agung which located in the center of the country.

For hosting the 3rd Melayu Archipelago Cup, Pemecutan Football Association is hereby selected 5 main stadiums and 2 reserve stadiums for the competition. The stadiums are as follows;

Main Stadium
1. Tegal Nagari Stadium
Location: Tegal Agung Federal City
Capacity: 50,000 seats

Tegal Nagari Stadium is the largest stadium in Pemecutan. Located in Nagari Sports Complex in western part of the city, this stadium has been hosting various domestic competition including PFA Cup and Pemecutan National Sports Games. It is the first and oldest stadium in Pemecutan which was built in 1932. It was become the heart of Nagari Sports Complex before other venues was built in the area. The current stadium is a new building after renovation was made back in 2002 in line with the venue (and the sports complex as a whole) was used as the location of 2004 Pemecutan National Sports Games.
Facilities inside the stadium including dressing room (for the players), public restroom (located in every entrance), media center, VIP lounge, mini museum, clinic, restaurant and cafe. This stadium is plan to hosting the opening and closing ceremonies, including the semi final and final matches.

2. Ubung Arena
Location: Ubung Municipality, Ubung Province, State of Padangsambian
Capacity: 40,000 seats

The arena is located in the southern part of the city, Ubung itself is a bustling city in north of Pemecutan. It is also the second largest city and the main port of Pemecutan. Ubung is the largest city in State of Padangsambian and also the capital of Ubung Province.
Ubung Arena is the homebased and headquarter of Ubung FC., one of the most successful football club in Pemecutan. This stadium was built in 1953 to create a new home based for Ubung FC. Previously, the club was based in Labuan Field near Ubung Port. The last expansion was made in 2010 to its current capacity.
Facilities inside the stadium includes dressing rooms (for the players), public restroom (located in every entrance), restaurant, cafe, media center, clinic and Ubung FC. Museum. The stadium is plan to hosting the group matches, quarterfinals and semi final matches.

3. Pedungan State Stadium
Location: Pedungan Municipality, Pedungan Province, State of Pedungan
Capacity: 35,000 seats

Pedungan State Stadium is located in Pedungan City, the largest city in south Pemecutan which is also the capital of State of Pedungan and also the fifth largest city in the nation. It is home for AC. Pedungan. The stadium is recently being renovated and expanded from 20,000 seats into its current capacity.
Facilities inside the stadium includes dressing rooms (for the players), public restroom (located in every entrance), restaurant, cafe, media center, clinic and AC. Pedungan Historic Museum. The stadium is plan to hosting the group matches and quarterfinals matches.

4. Tegal Agung Arena
Location: Tegal Agung Federal City
Capacity: 30,000 seats

Aside of Tegal Nagari Stadium, Tegal Agung also has another football stadium, Tegal Agung Arena. This stadium is located in northern part of the city and it is the home based of FC. Tegal Agung, the city's football club. Previously, FC. Tegal Agung rented Tegal Nagari Stadium as their home based before the club able to build their own stadium. Tegal Agung Arena itself was built in 1978 and it was used for the first time in 1983. In 2012, the stadium is being renovated and expanded to its current seating capacity.
Facilities inside the stadium includes dressing rooms (for the players), public restroom (located in every entrance), restaurant, cafe, media center, clinic and FC. Tegal Agung Museum. The stadium is plan to hosting the group matches, and quarterfinals matches.

5. Pemedilan City Stadium
Location: Pemedilan Municipality, Tegal Province, State of Pemecutan
Capacity: 30,000 seats

This stadium is located in Pemedilan city, just east of Tegal Agung. Is is the third largest city in Pemecutan and also the government seat of State of Pemecutan. Pemedilan is an economic center, becoming the only inland port in Pemecutan. To its east, there is an artificial lake which was made by enlarging the banks of Balun River to create the port.
Pemedilan City Stadium is home of Pemedilan United, the city's football club. It is also one of the most successful football club in Pemecutan. Pemedilan United is one of the founding member of Pemecutan Football Association and also one of the initiator of Pemecutan Premier League.
Facilities inside the stadium includes dressing rooms (for the players), public restroom (located in every entrance), restaurant, cafe, media center, clinic and Pemedilan United Museum. The stadium is plan to hosting the group matches and quarterfinals matches.

Reserve Stadium
1. Padangsambian State Stadium
Location: Padangsambian Municipality, Padangsambian Province, State of Padangsambian
Capacity: 25,000 seats

The stadium is located in Padangsambian City, the second largest city and capital city of State of Padangsambian. It is the home based of Padangsambian FC., one of the main football club in the state. The city itself is located in the northwest part of Pemecutan.

2. Kepaon Municipal Arena
Location: Kepaon Municipality, Kepaon Province, State of Pedungan
Capacity: 20,000 seats

The stadium is located in Kepaon City, the capital city of Kepaon Province and the third largest city in Pedungan State. Kepaon FC. has its home based in the stadium. The city is located to the southeast of Pemecutan.

Transportation

Pemecutan has a highly connected transportation from each of its cities notably the main and capital cities. There is a highway that connected Tegal Agung, the capital with all the other state capitals and large cities namely Ubung, Padangsambian, Pedungan, Peguyangan, Pemogan and Kepaon. This highway crossing the scenic view of Langkir Mountain which is the natural boundaries of Pemecutan State and Padangsambian State. Gading Gap and Gerenceng Gap are crossed by this highway. In the south the highway crossed Tonja plain and entering Pedungan State. Pemecutan Football Association will provide every contingent with their personal bus and personal livery of each countries to help them travel from place of stay to the venue or anywhere around. Train travel also provided for crossed state event.
Aside from land transportation, there is air transportation. Pemecutan Air will provide transportation for every contingent from one city to another if it is required. Five airports are prepared for this competition namely Tegal Agung International Airport in Tegal Agung, Ubung International Airport in Ubung, Padangsambian Airport in Padangsambian, Pedungan State Airport in Pedungan and Kepaon Airport in Kepaon.

Accommodation

During their stay in Pemecutan, PFA is collaborated with Pemecutan Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRA) in order to gives wonderful experience for the players and officials that coming to Pemecutan. Each nation's players and officials will be placed in different hotel based on their assigned group and city. PFA in collaboration with PHRA will select the closest and most viable hotel and accommodation for each contingent based on the city they are assigned after the drawing is commenced. PFA also launch several activities that they can do during the break time during the competition. Some of the activities including water sports (including kayaking, water skiing, bungee jumping, surfing, etc), natural sightseeing (including visiting waterfall, sea turtle sanctuary, etc), dining in the hotel or at other restaurants that has been recommended by PHRA.

It was like Deja Vu, we met again, but not at the finals but at the group level. The last edition, Pauh Janggi devastated by a monster hurricane, but we almost made history. This edition we come back with a stronger resolve and determination to have each team's dream trophy. But we a ready for our first battle versus unknown Ziwana, but with a great reputation and solid players they are. Asking about been located to a "death group". head coach Firdaus Wan Yahya only smiled and said, "the last edition also we been put in a death group but we manage to survive." Pauh Janggi also filling a new face including U21 star Wan Kuzeen Wan Ali from Kiambang Athletic FC and Asmat Dollah from Kotaraja Pahlawan.
