This is a colonization RP that takes place in the modern day where participating nations race to colonize a a region in the midst of collapse in attempt to spread influence and expand their Empire. Please read all requirements and rules before applying to join.
This is the region of Terattoria. The area has always been the center of political instability and rivalries between nations, however things have become more heated than ever. The region is on the verge of collapse, and nations around the world (you) seek to take control of these nations to utilize their assets before order is lost. The Region comprises of 6 nations, all with their own attributes and reasons for collapse. Compete or collaborate with other nations to expand your empire. Help the fallen nations, or seize them as your own, it's your choice.

Sudammad: A Vast desert Region that is scarce in most resources but has large Oil deposits that have created a successful economy, however massive wealth gaps and a corrupt government have resulted in the lower class revolting and is a dangerous region with warfare still ensuing.
Yamernion and Halitand: Yamernion and Halitand have been in an ongoing dispute for claims to the mostly unexplored northern territories. It is speculated that there are large coal deposits in the arctic North, and both nations are in desperate need of fossil fuels. Both have powerful militaries but civilians are suffering on both sides, as the distribution of funds from welfare and the private sector have been re-purposed to funding the war. The nations have also shown tendencies of unwarranted aggression towards other nations and are suspected of starting proxy wars in those countries.
Impercia: A mostly peaceful Island nation whose inhabitants live a simple lifestyle. Home to various spices and aquatic species.The Nation is not very technologically advanced, nor do they have ties with other nations. However, an undiscovered and un-researched disease is spreading rapidly and killing the population. The people are in desperate need for modern medicine however do not contain the scientific knowledge to fix the problem.
Rawadal: The nation comprises mostly of Tropical Rain-forests. The region is abundant in various natural resources however is most notable for it's large quantity of gold. The Nation is at a struggle with Native Tribes that make up 40% of the population. They are in protest of the mass deforestation and lack of respect for their designated territory. Native attacks on civilian areas are common.
Rolshkinovath: This country is currently in a civil war that has lasted for the span of a decade. The populace is in a battle of Capitalism vs Communism, with the central government supporting communism. The constant damage done to the nation by itself has made it impossible to see further development on it's own.

- -Participating nations cannot directly resemble real countries
-You must be active on the RP, posting at least 3 times a week is most preferable
-You must communicate realistically and professionally
How To Play
You may do anything in reason that a nation colonizing a region would realistically do. You get to write about the events and culture of regions as you discover them, and if your submission is accepted then it will become concrete information that will be referenced by all others in the future. This means that the first player to arrive in a region or nation gets the right to designate what happens (in reason). However it is most important to treat the pre-existing 6 nations as actual entities. For context they are just as much of a country as you are, they have leaders and executive decisions, when referencing them please write about them realistically, they are subject to real human actions. This means that when you write about them, their actions should be depicted accurately. For example, a leader of a nation in a civil war will not simply cease fighting for his cause to join your nation because you merely want them to. Of course allying with these nations is allowed but you are not in control of everything, unless you plan to successfully overthrow a government entirely. Be creative in your reasoning if you must alter behavior of the predisposed nation’s. Rivers were left intentionally unnamed, as it gives incentive for players to expand to name them themselves and even use them as land borders. There is no concrete way to interact with the pre-existing nations. You may invade, take control, ally, aid, or make specific land claims. The political map will depict whatever your actions are. Most of everything else is self explanatory, you may write about experiences, start war, make alliances with players, etc. But as with every RP just remember not to go overboard and that's about it.
Rules
- -An RP post must be at least 2 paragraphs long with substantive information. Failure to comply will result in ejection.
-Use terms and speech appropriate to the setting. With the exception of spoken dialogue, keep a formal writing style.
-You are only allowed to use one nation. In the event that you are using two nations in the RP you will be kicked out.
-Be reasonable with territorial claims. Vincere Terrae will act as the map moderator, if a move or claim made in the RP is deemed unreasonable it will be ignored. No you cannot just say an entire pre-existing nation is yours.
-No referencing of real life nations, it interferes with the logic and continuity of the game.
-Osarkian Federation and Vincere Terrae are the admins. That means listen to them.
