US Justice Department news email links to VDare

Postby Rojava Free State » Thu Aug 22, 2019 8:28 pm

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/us-ju ... MZN#page=2

So a recent email from the DOJ to immigration judges didn't go exactly as expected when people started realizing that the link contained in the letter was for VDare, a website that contains loads of anti Semitic and anti minority propaganda and which has strong ties to the white nationalist movement. The specific post in the link was about an effort to dissolve the national association of immigration judges and made numerous Nazi themed remarks such as calling the New York Times the lugenpresse, which is German for "lying press." This term was used by Adolf Hitler and his associates in the 1930s against jews, communists and critics of the Reich within the media. The letter comes during a week of high tension involving both the migrant crisis from central America and Trump's decision to take sides in the Israel-critic conflict (in which he made the usual absent minded argument that people who criticize Israel are just antisemitic and Jews who don't support Israel aren't loyal), so obviously tension is high.

Now what's my opinion on this? Well, I wanna know why the hell an email from the DOJ to immigration courts contains a link to a white supremacist website. That sure doesn't make me comfortable, knowing that we clearly got some ghost skins in the Department of Justice and probably in much of the rest of our government too. Makes me wonder if I'm living in the United states or a failed state. I think it's absolutely appalling that this kind of rhetoric is coming from the government itself and that it's completely tarred and stained the immigration debate. Whoever shared the link ought to be fired for the good of our country (I don't want an open bigot holding as much power as the DoJ grants). Even in the current era we live in, I'm shocked by this news. What are your thoughts Nsers?

Apparently the newsletter is auto-generated using keywords and no one really bothers to check the contents before they go out. It's a lovely glimpse into the future of automation.

Your enemies don't like AI either for the same reason.

This is one of the most beautiful things about AI: It is unbiased hence almost all humans are extremely mad at it which reveals nothing but human biases.

AI isn’t unbiased. It just gets the biases of its programmers.

It is possible to have unbiased views on things. However humans being wicked and treacherous entities are just unwilling to use any consistent standard on anything that is remotely relevant to their own interests. Any consistent standard is better than human treachery and flip-flopping.

I of course expect to be attacked by all sides for making that statement...for this is just how humans treat truth and the few who actually love it.

By humans? Nope. Our psychology doesn’t permit it.

Wrong. The end reached us the important part, not so much the method of how.

"By humans? Nope. Our psychology doesn’t permit it. "

Then humans inherently suck. I hope AI will be at least better at humanity in accurately understanding the world.

"Wrong. The end reached us the important part, not so much the method of how."

Then everybody is equally justified and unjustified lmao. You don't give a shit about factual accuracy. Your enemy doesn't give a shit about factual accuracy. Again..fuck humans. Yeah I know where this shit is from, namely due to limited resources sometimes accuracy can be sacrificed and is often sacrificed.

"The irony."

There is no irony here. Truthseekers are naturally hated by almost all humans (and other agents).

Honestly I'm surprised. Is that a mistake or it's really the intention of the DoJ?

Nobody will ever know. That's actually the most accurate answer. Even DoJ folks probably won't know whether it is from within itself.

Just like why the fuck mass shootings happen. You can't dig motives out of heads of dead people who are unconventional enough to commit a massacre and that living suspects aren't ever going to be honest about it. Even if the police can..then why do you think they will necessarily tell the truth?

People have a lot of incentives to lie. Truth is always one of the biggest victims in all events simply because all sides lie for personal gain and that almost nobody has incentives to discover or tell the truth.

For examples bureaucrats are a group of people who benefit from and are incentivised to create more statism. Professional ideologues are people incentivised to perpetually create demand for their ideologies.
