I speak on behalf of the New Roman Imperium, a brand-new region based off of the Roman Empire. Well, we're not here to win points for originality, huh? We recently splintered off from The Land of Kings and Emperors, and have begun recruitment. We've set up a forum, discord and regional government - heck, our constitution is nearly through the drafting process. As somebody who is good friends with all of the current members, I can say that there's a relatively friendly environment. The Imperator, Lucenius Flavius I (Novae Romae), aims to be accessible and present in most regional discussion The Imperium aims to be a serious place for Role-Players and 'Politicians' in our regional government, as well as a laid-back haven to chat and have fun. We take a very hands-off approach to the moderation of the region, and are just here to have fun; it's a game, after all. We don't take things too seriously.

Ah, yes. This was a travesty that all of the nations who partook in the act regret. However, most of our region's nations did nothing to partake in the act. We apologise for our actions, and wish to recognise that the past is the past and move on. We appreciate your concern over such an important matter. It's understandable that we may be viewed as vilifiable, and the atrocity that befell our departure is unforgivable, but we aim to move forward nonetheless.

If I'm not mistaken, the core group of this region is none other than the group that did massive damage to the LKE's forums right? If so, you won't find this a very welcoming place. Forum and history destruction is not something mainstream GP tolerates.

I was asleep when it happened and so were most of the people, shouldn't judge an entire region over the acts of the few. However we do appreciate your concern and your valid criticism. What happened was a mistake and those who committed the act did it in a spur of the moment thing and still have regrets. It turned out to be a very harsh yet truthful lesson to them more than some troll reaction and I hope they've learned that they shouldn't react without thinking of the consequences.

I hope we can still find a reasonnable ground, as most of us however have planned to make this region since a while.

As a former member of the LKE who left because of the behaviour of the aforementioned people, I can confirm that such a thing indeed happened. The fact that these people now lead this region, can't bode well for anyone that considers joining. I'm not saying this out of spite or malice, but out of concern for the people who are interested in joining the New Roman Imperium. The fact that ruining a region's NS page, offsite forums and Discord - which people worked hard on to set up - was considered a fun joke and not that big of a deal, makes me concerned about the leadership capabilities of the people who have set up the New Roman Imperium.

Good evening.
I would first like to than you for your valid concerns and criticism, I believe we can all discuss such matters freely without being shunned.
Indeed, some members who committed the grave act are now core members of the region, however, I would like to note the some.
I understand that you're trying to look out for people and for anyone who would be willing to join us, and again, I understand the concern since you've experienced their behavior first hand.
However the way you explain it puts the people who had absolutely nothing to do with the damage on the line of fire as well, and I don't think it's well deserved for them. ( I'm also including myself in this, since I had nothing to do with the attack, again, I wasn't here.)

We very much do consider their action to be a big deal, as a matter of fact, we still condemn it and they sincerely regret their actions, not because we think it'll hurt our reputation, but because that act was born out of some "spur of the moment" and had very grave consequences. They're young, but after a good talk, they understood that ruining other people's work for one's own fun is not tolerable, and will never be, and I trust them to behave accordingly in the future. You learn when you commit mistake, and I see that they're already learning from them.

I hope you can give them a second chance as well, and I hope anyone else can. This region's theme and idea came from the man who literally had the less to do with the whole ordeal, and I don't think it's fair for him to be judged for the sins of others.

And to your last sentence, yes. I fully understand the concern people might have after this, and I don't have any proof to back my words, and you're free to just ignore me or not trust me, but these very same people who committed the vile act out of passion, are very passionnate about what they do, and are very passionnate about the future of the region. When they've seen the consequences of their acts, how it could affect people who usually come on this website to chill and relax after a day, I can tell that they grew out of their misbehavior.

You're very much free to condemn all of us, throw us in the same bag, not recommend the region, I will always respect your opinion, and I hope you understand mine.

Thanks for pointing this out! I was interested in joining, but I'll be reconsidering that now
