Any movement on this, by chance?

Cormactopia Prime wrote:Uh, you don't get to just declare yourself the new Registrar of this treaty. The treaty is pretty clear the President of Europeia is the Registrar.
Swakistek was the President at the time, but the President of Europeia wasn't a permanent position, it changed every few months by election. The office of President was recently abolished, but its constitutional successor is Chief of State, so the new Registrar would be Europeia's current Chief of State, Primorye Oblast. If you have concerns about maintenance of the treaty, you should contact Prim. But Enadia doesn't get to declare itself the new Registrar of a recruitment treaty that has been in effect for years and names another region's official as the Registrar, especially given your region's recruitment practices.

Ah, my home region didn't give me any directive regarding this. This is entirely of my own initiative.
Now, I just thought that since nobody's bothered to care about maintaining this thread for three years when this is supposed to be some big deal in the game, and considering my region wants to be a part of this against any common sense, then I felt it was necessary to bring this up to date and act as a janitor basically. If you've got a problem with that; then get the right people to do their job, do it yourself, or I'm going to do it until somebody more appropriate comes along to maintain this.

That's.....not how things work.
Let's translate this to, say, snow forts.
If there is a snow fort that is very important, and the maintainer of the snow fort knows that it exists, but doesn't maintain it, you don't get to come in and be like "This is now my snow fort and I get to decide who comes in and who doesn't." It doesn't work that way. Even if the snow fort isn't actively being maintained, it's a perfectly fine snow fort that works, so you can't declare yourself Registrar of that snow fort.

My region's leaders couldn't sign this without getting warned for gravedigging before. Now we can. That's what concerned me.
I don't plan on going on some retarded power-trip with this, if that's what worried you. Europeia needs to update this thread though. Until they do, I'll reluctantly do it instead if any region joins. (Sorry about the title of registrar thing.)

You are literally breaking the treaty that your region is about to sign. Congratulations.

Well I haven't gone out of my way to recruit from a user-created region. So you seem to be barking at the wrong person right now in that regard.
