Do you play Roblox?

I remember a while back on the "What's your guilty pleasure?" thread there were a few people who said there guilty pleasure was playing Roblox.
So I just randomly remembered that and created this thread to see how many NS players play Roblox.
So do you play Roblox?
As you can tell from my flag and nations name I do play Roblox.
I first played it as a joke but I actually started to enjoy it.
It is honestly an over hated game, but I will say there is a good amount of toxic players on Roblox.

I do, though I mostly stick to one or two of the well developed games since I some what enjoy them.

I was big in to the group scene when i was younger, but grew out of it.

This game brings back some hardcore memories. I remember playing roblox when it first came out back in 2008 when I was 11 years old. My old account was literally made in 2008 and the game had the square Roblox figures and all the maps were made out of bricks and bricks only. My friend Zeldoon and I (IRL best friend) used to play all the time in 2010-2011. We started a clan and we used to raid F.E.A.R. back when SonicTheHedgeHog used to run the F.E.A.R. Clan hahaha. Good times. I have incredibly fond memories of Roblox because it played such an integral role in my childhood. We’d come home from middle school and hop on Roblox and play for hours on end building bases and coding airplanes and weapons and all this crazy shit. We logged back into Roblox last year and the game is so different than how I remember it. The maps look a ton more polished than just being Bricks. Still such great memories.

I do, and used to be big in the roleplaying genre, now minibuilding, got less active on it really, and the front page games are sooo boring!

Do you know what Risk Universalis is? I've just got into it and it's my favorite Roblox game as of now.

Yes! I do actually, i used to be an active player, along with World Conquer, don't play it much anymore, but Yes, I do!

I played ROBLOX since 2011, and I still play it, but I feel as though the demographic is becoming younger and younger. Not saying that it's a bad thing, but the fact that ROBLOX is significantly different from when I used to play it is kind of surprising.

I've seen it mentioned here and there, and have come across memes referencing it, but I've never quite understood just what the heck it is

I still play it, but NationStates has taken Roblox's former place as the game I like the most. And spend most of my free time on.

Yes, I do. I first registered about five years ago, but I didn't play it consistently through the years, and there were periods, when I just didn't have the interest in it. First game I really got into was Heli Wars (Checked it a few months ago, no one was playing it anymore, R.I.P.), then "Stop it, Slender!". Afterwards, Phantom forces was my next favorite (Some maps lagged like hell with my potato internet, though), and finally I settled down for Arsenal - it runs pretty okay for me.

I used to be an ardent player, but once Project Pokemon and Pokemon Brick Bronze were shut down I pretty much gave up on it...I do play every once in a while I get on and do some stuff...Joblowgo is me username if u wanted it.

You could play Loomian Legacy though; it was made by the same developer as Pokemon Brick Bronze.

I started in 2011 on a guest account and made my first account as soon as it was 2012.

I had to love it. The whole group scene was cool, as with the anarchy-ridden forums.

I eventually stopped playing over time as the target demographic changed and the games started to become more ‘commercialised’ rather than the old style ones.

Before I quit I was merely playing the old brick games like Urban Warfare, Armoured Warfare, Kohls Admin House (back when it was rife with exploiters and had the seizure inducing commands), Crossroads, and various gems made by TheAmazeMan and Zamsongod

Did, but my account got terminated by an uneducated moderator believing the Iron Cross that my character wore was "hate symbol" even though it has been around before the rise of Hitler and his Emo band and is still being used in the German Federal Military today. I don't plan on returning the game as I lost interest due to the removal of Tixs that allowed me to purchase items for my character without needing real money. Nationstates is my game life now as I heard about this place from ad on the Roblox website. However, my favorite games on Roblox were Build a Mini Country, Risk, and Call of Robloxia, which the latter was my most favorite as the server wasn't laggy as hell like it is for Phantom Force.

It's essentially a game platform where you create your own games. It used to be based on bricks, like Legos, and most games had a focus on building / destroying, but now the blocky aesthetic which I think gave it its charm is gone (people use assets from Counter-Strike or Half-Life for their games) and a lot of content now is uninspired and repetitive (think: Texting Simulator, Insurance Scam Simulator, Shouting Simulator)

It used to be fun but the community is very immature and the part of the community that IS mature is just rude.

If you want a fun, sandbox game where you build stuff, Brick Rigs is probably your best bet.

I’m 21 and still thoroughly enjoy it. I don’t know what it is about Roblox that keeps me hooked, but I have no shame.

I am aware of Roblox, and I have considered playing it towards the end of the last decade. However, I never got around to it due to university at the time, and unfortunately other video games ate away my initial interest: however, I am aware that some people have been able to turn it into a respectable train simulator (I think the mod is called Trainware).
