The Constitution supposedly assures everyone equal protection under the law, and yet we have differing legal states which are not equal. In America, at least, the right of homosexuals to marry is inevitable.

In a Church, well, if the Church says no then it's a no.

Personally I think that Jesus would have been fine with it but the Church represents the views of millions and provided they're not imposing it on someone else then we should just allow them to say no to homosexuals as they would to any other non-christian as recognised by the state.

Yes, I know... Just to keep in line with the topic. Homosexuals already have the "right" to have a failed marriage with someone of a different sex. The question ought to be reframed as pertaining to same-sex marriage.
