Palace of Olimpia

The beauty and magnitude of Mt. Olimpia leaves one at a loss for words. With constant light shining down on the majestic palace at its peak, Mt. Olimpia stands proudly at the center of the Uneran continent, surrounded by a golden city. Every 100 years, Athanatos, the God of Power and King of the Gods, calls a meeting of all the gods of Unera. This is that meeting year, and it is time to meet. There is never another moment where this many divine beings come together so this is always the most important event of the century.

1) City of Olimpia (Ruled by Athanatos)
A golden city surrounding Mt. Olimpia. Lush fields, clean lakes, and a happy population. All members of the pantheon live somewhere on the mountain. At the top of the mountain is the Palace of Olimpia, the seat of the Uneran government where Athanatos himself resides. The city is surrounded by a mile high wall.
Name of worshipers: Angels
Powers and abilities of worshipers: Able to create weapons out of pure energy.

2) Geminus (Ruled by Juras)
Positioned where 3 rivers merge into one, and that one empties into the ocean, Geminus is a huge city revolving around water. Geminus iconic Beautiful Teal, Blue, Purple, and Green Mosaic buildings are a beautiful sight. Geminus is home to Palace de la Mer, the beautiful palace on the sea home to Juras.
Name of worshipers: Aqualites
Powers and abilities of worshipers: Mild water control and Empathy
Appearance of worshipers: In Blue or Teal hoods, Aqualites have beautiful tunics, like the God himself. However, In war, the Aqualites don silver armor studded with Lapis or Turquoise, again like the God himself.

3) Telmun (Ruled by the Eternal Serpents)
Very decentralized, to the point where it is hard to call a "city", Telmun consists of an enormous expanse of lakes and marshlands in the lowlands beyond Mt. Olimpia. The buildings are integrated into the ecosystem of the city, made from hollowed out trees and carcasses - it can be hard to tell what the difference is between a corpse being devoured by detritivores and a communal home made from an animal's remains. Everything grows faster in Telmun, and takes longer to die. The deeper into the marshes you go, the larger and more dangerous the creatures within become. Zhah Abus Nimu sleeps at the bottom of an especially large lake
Name of worshipers: Dragons
Powers and abilities of worshipers: Extremely rapid growth, healing, and reproduction. A variety of physical adaptations such as claws, armour, sharp teeth, and wings, depending on the individual in question.

4) Obelora (Ruled by Dhemtar)
Set within a field of craters lies the Domain of Dhemtar, Obelora. Obelora consists of large towers that are painted either black and onyx or white and gold, representing the two halves of the Great Beyond. Bridges and walkways connect the towers, painted a mixture of the two color sets if the towers are of opposing towers, but otherwise will be painted the same if the color sets are similar. Within the center of Obelora lies the Cosmic Unera, the palace of Dhemtar. The Cosmic Unera is a circular, pillar-like tower that is painted with swirls of both color sets. At the top of the tower five obelisks split off from the top, supporting the sphere nestled on top of them. The sphere has the continent of Unera carved onto it's top and painted with white and gold. A shadow slipped through the streets of the city of the Mount Olympia, it was Death itself, Thaetol, he could easily teleport himself to the place of meeting, but, he decided against, he would gladly be in the mortal realm right now, but, before going to a meeting he had someone to take, a worshiper today ends his life on the mountain, finally, Death stood before the doors of the worshipper and opened the door
"Who are you?" Asked the man after seeing Thaetol enter
"Theatol" he replied

"Is it the time already? Do I need to go now?"

"Yes"

"So, please tell me where"

"I can't know, now give me your hand"

The Worshipper extended his hand, it looked like he was about to greet an old friend, Thaetol grabbed it and the Worshipper disappeared somewhere to Hell or Heaven. Thaetol then disappeared himself, appearing in the meeting place he said to Athanatos who would not be able to see him

"I have arrived"

Juras, The Protector of Innocents, Guard of Nature, Diplomat of the Gods, packed up his things in his bedroom of his Palace. He grabbed his suitcase and silver vine crown, said farewell to his palace employees, and transformed into water and disappeared.

Another 100 years had passed, and the worst day of the century for Quiraji was about to start. He had to put on hold his work on a new species of trematode, just when he was about to make a breakthrough, and come to a meeting where he would have to listen to his esteemed collegues prattle about their worshipers and their temples and their miracles... Quiraji could feel himself grow bored already. He did not care for any of this things, and he would rather stay in his lab to craft new deseases than attend events like these.

Still, a summoning from the God of Power himself was not a calling he could refuse, so he sprouted his wings and rapidly flew to Mt. Olympia. Even Quiraji had to admit it was a marvel of architecture, even if it was a very different style than the one he preferred. He looked around and he saw that he was the third to arrive. Only the solitary death god and Juras, god of water, had preceded him. He made a nod of acknowledgment before returning to his toughts.

Minerva had always been acknowledged as the oddball of the pantheons and was always (somewhat correctly) told that she was a bit of a drama queen. She had a penchant for flair and had no shame about agreeing with such sentiments. If Minerva being funner than all of the other gods was a bad thing then she was more than happy being wicked. (All pop culture references entirely intended).

Minerva had planned her entrance out as best as she could. Having timed her entrance to coincide with when at least a couple of gods were arriving in Olympia, she she took to the air some small distance outside the city towards the farmlands in the north. Having flown high enough in the sky but close enough to be seen, she began to trail a large purple smokey powder of gas into the blue sky, her broomstick spewing the purple stuff out of its various herbal bristles.

Minerva had been working on the logistics of this stunt for quite some time and had quite a time deciding just how she wanted this broomstick to work and feel. Getting the whole flying thing to work had been a pain, as had been the aesthetics, the specifications, all the computations of messing with gravity and the work with gas. How she finds the time to do all this mind breaking work for simple aesthetics and pop culture references is beyond any of them buts she's done it.

The three gods that had just arrived were facing the direction she as in and could see her in the sky, writing the word "Welcome!" in the air with giant purple letters of (whatever language gods speak, Celestial?) smoke and little flecks of silver. As she finished they might even be able to see (maybe even hear as they were gods) her raising her chin into the air and giving them her biggest and best wicked witch cackle. It was clear to anyone listening that she had also worked very hard on that too.

Dhemtar, Archon of Fundamental Space

It's that time of year again, when all the Titans and Devas of Unera gather within Athanatos's palace at the top of Mt. Olimpia. From within his throne room in Obelora he pondered for a moment, pondering on nothing really, but pondering nonetheless. He stood up, allowing the cosmic royalty of the Titan of Space to show it's full glory. He willed for a meteor to be conjured from his hands, weaving together an asteroid composed of many valuable metals such as gold. He would bring this one along to mess around with before the meeting would fully start, molding it into various shapes and possibly bending light around it to see what the reflectivity would end up making. Grasping it in one hand and with another spinning a wormhole into existence, he stepped forward unto the walkways of Obelora. Teloculists walked by and others offered a swift prayer, paying a small but faithful respect to the Titan. He walked around for a bit before finding a certain tavern built into a white and gold tower.

"Ah-ha! Good faithful, hand me a Belt-Brewed Brandy, will you?
Ah! Of course, great Dhemtar."

The worshiper turned around and pulled what appear to be a painted beer mug, handing it towards Dhemtar with a slight bow. He grasped the mug with a swift hand and turned around admiring the stellar beauty of Obelora befoe spinning a second wormhole and stepping through. This time, he was on the stairways leading up to the palace of Athanatos. The golden architecture of a classical design dotting green fields and clean lakes, all with the Angels patrolling it with their energy-formed weapons. Worshipers of the God of Power and others were about, looking up to the sky he saw a purple trail of smoke which was shaped into a giant "Welcome!' in the sky. That was probably something of Minerva's work, and that thought was subsequently confirmed by the wicked cackling.

"Not out of the usual for Minerva, ha!"

He slightly quickened his walk up the staircase, occasionally messing with his meteor or drinking from his mug. Upon reaching the top of the staircase past many worshipers he made it to the top, seeing Juras, Quiraji, and Thaetol's shadow having already arrived. He walked forward, the other gods likely noticing him rather swiftly due to the sound of rock and metal being messed with by divine power, as well as the occasional sip of brandy.

"Salutations, Titans and Devas! I, Archon of Fundamental Space and fellow Titan, Dhemtar, have arrived!"

There was absolutely nothing out of the usual about this, Dhemtar had a thing for over-the-top announcements.

Athanatos
Athanatos, God of Power and King of Gods, entered his throne room. Gods began to arrive, most announcing their arrival verbally or with a flashy production. "Hmph...the same thing century," he thought, "Lesser gods announcing themselves as if they haven't just walked into the throne room of the top god himself. It's borderline blasphemy."

Of course, Athanatos wouldn't say this out loud. While he does, ironically, have a god complex, he is aware that he is rivaled by the other Titans in power. He wouldn't want to offend them all at once. Athanatos sat down on his throne, awaiting the arrival of the other gods before starting the meeting. An angel flew in and brought him a plate of grapes, fresh from the Northern Farmlands.

Abyss
Trailing closely behind Dhemtar, Abyss, the God of Black Holes, entered the throne room. As Athanatos sat on his throne, Abyss could see the pride on his face. "Such an arrogant fool," thought Abyss, "He looks down on us as if we're mere mortals."

Juras smiled at the Gods in the Throne Room. "Greetings Everyone! So good to see all of you!". He playfully nudged Quiraji. "Hey, lighten up. I can sense your boredom and irritation from across the room. Also, Minerva and Dhemtar, great flashy entrances, as always. And Thaetol, it's been too long, really". His cheery mood was contagious, and he say down in his chair, sizeable suitcase next to him.

Thaetol was impatient, after all, he was the God of Death and Death couldn't suddenly stop doing its job, he already sensed a car crash with two people needed to be taken care of, some poor man that drunk too much and a woman in a hospital surrounded by family, and many others, they would just keep pilling up until it was all done, Thaetol personally shared what Quiraji thought of this whole thing, being bored and then needing to catch up on work, he decided to express this

"Can we start already, I'm on tight schedule"

Of course other Gods would only hear his voice

Minerva flew like wind back towards the meeting place in Olympia, her painstakingly constructed Ruby slippers glittering in the bright sunlight and her conventionally beautiful features smiling adorably in the mischievous and lecherous feeling of being wicked.

Minerva sat sideways on her flying broomstick calmly making a runway landing down an empty street leading towards the meeting place where all the other gods were, her pointed witch hat and other props letting the recent additions to the city know to stay out of the way.

The witch's broom slided in a hover on the street below, the creature riding the cleaning implement jumping down merrily onto the pavement below with a tap of the heels on the surface. The lady made a shooing motion with her hand and the broom took off flying into the sky above and disappeared.

The witch walked gracefully over, her stride confident in the way that a lady knew she was powerful, independent, and had the same right to be here as anybody else. She wore black and white striped stalkings and black elegant dress skirt outfit, arms bear and neck elegantly decorated in a unapologetically sensual choker. It was black and elegant with a large oval shaped ruby at its center.

She wore a dignified smile on her face and greeted the other deities with elegant curtsies, the curtsies were straight-backed and did not allow her pointed hat to dip too far low as she was disinclined to grovel or scrape before any aspirant tyrants on high. Respectful but dignified she greeted the fellow deities gathered with pretty smiles and "greetings Thaetol" or "greetings Juras" and so on, greeting them one by one.

Juras cleared his throat. "Hello Everyone. Before we begin...". He opens his case, revealing wine glasses and a couple bottles of Geminus Wine. "Chateau Bord De Mer, Some of the best wine in Unera. Who would like a glass?".

“Patience Thaetol,” replied Athanatos, a bit ticked off that a Deva would even have the nerve to try and rush the meeting he called. Juras suddenly offers some Geminus Wine. Athanatos could never pass up a good glass of that. He grabs a large urn sitting next to his throne and walks over to Juras. “Pour me a full glass.”

Quiraji shot a look of gratitude in the direction of Thaetol. Being the Psychopomp, he was probably the only gos that was more anxious to finish this meeting than he was. Of course not every god was so sensible. Most of them were just being their showy selves, including the Titan that was technically his boss. At least Minerva was polite, as usual. Oh well, this will probably drag on for a while Quiraji tought when Juras offered the wine. An idea began to form in my mind. At least it would make things sightly more interesting. Oh, i agree, this wine is amazing. I visited the gardens myself and i never saw grapes so colorful. All my pets and when i say that a little rat scutters away from my mist loved running around in the orchad. Aaaah, it was such a good day i say while respectfully waiting my turn for the glass of wine.

Thaetol turns to Juras and says "I'll pass" and after hearing Athanatos saying no to his request he murmurs under his nose "I have already 10 urgent cases" and takes his seat, after a while, Thaetol got an idea, as one of Dhemtar's worshippers was one of these 10 cases, he spoke to the Titan of Space "Dhemtar, could you get here one if your followers, one by the name Aleksei, in previous life a warrior from Rus, I would have one thing less to do after the meeting"

Juras poured 3 glasses, one for himself, the huge one for Athanatos, and one for Quiraji. "This is quality stuff". He said, taking a sip. "But for once, I agree with Thaetol. There is is a full Lunar Eclipse next week, and I have to plan the festival, which you are all invited to, by the way". He nodded at Minerva. "Would you like some wine?".

Dhemtar, Archon of Fundamental Space

After having given a respectful bow to Minerva's curtsy, Dhemtar heard a voice in the direction of Thaetol's shadow. It was, of course, the Psychopomp Thaetol, he who guided the souls of the living to either Heaven or Hell. Dhemtar could understand why Thaetol didn't enjoy this meeting, after all, there were cases of death to tend to. Upon hearing that the worshiper in question was Aleksei, Dhemtar's heart sank a bit. Aleksei made that fine Belt-Brewed Brandy, and nobody else could exactly match it. Oh well, life is life, after all. Perhaps Aleksei had the recipe contained somewhere.

"I'll be on my way, then." He spoke solemnly.

He spun a wormhole back to Obelora, just around the tavern he had been in earlier that day. Walking around the white and gold tower he came across Aleksei, dealing some of his famous Belt-Brewed Brandy to passing Teloculists. He was a bit taken back by Dhemtar's sudden appearance.

"Thaetol said It's time to go, unfortunately."
"It is? Welp. Take this, would you?"

It was the recipe for his infamous Belt-Brewed Brandy, Dhemtar's favorite wake-up drink.

"I'll take care of it, ha..."

Spinning another wormhole he brought both himself and Aleksei to Thaetol at the palace of Olimpia.

Thaetol walked up to Aleksei, feeling quite grateful to Dhemtar, fortunately for Thaetol, Dhemtar understood that Thaetol needed to do his job no matter if there was meeting or other things, he extended his hand towards Aleksei and said

"Take my hand"

Aleksei did so and soon disappeared, Thaetol will probably need to visit many more Worshippers of various Titans, the turn of the century was always the time of reaping in worshippers, he sensed some of them nearing the hour, some had only minutes left, some seconds...

Suddenly lightning raced through the sky even if there wasn’t any rain clouds for miles. On Mt. Gonz was delighted to be invited to the festival. With the help of Carstol they proceeded in making several beers in which they proceeded to drink. Carstol on the other hand had a thoughtful face it looked like he had his mind somewhere else he was looking into the millions of mortals making decisions, choices that alter their Fate. Millions of choices were made some were good others not so good. It was his job to provide those choices, those crossroads that can ultimately lead to a mortals death if he was not careful.

With the gods gathered, Athanatos proceeded to start the meeting. "Only three things on the agenda this year," said Athanatos, "First is kind of a small issue. It's about Earth's population. It has greatly increased over the last century and they could possibly experience problems as a result of outgrowing their planet. Their technological advancements are not keeping up with their population's rate of growth. Any suggestions? This is particularly relevant to the god's of life and death."

Hmm human populace growing and can’t keep up, As the Deva of Decisions and Crossroads, along with Agriculture and Harvest Carstol couldn’t ignore the first statement made by Athanatos. Gonz on the other hand seemed quite intrigued and also seemed a bit curious in how this would be solved.

When i hear the word "Overpopulation", i know it's my time to step into the limelight. Don't worry about that, Athanatos. I have some new plagues in my basement that will take care of the overpopulation issue easily. With a simple gesture , a petri dish appear in my hand. I crafted them myself, from the most antibiotic-resistant batch i could find. It will take years for mortals to find an acceptable cure, but by then, they will have already achieved their purpoose.

I call these beuties "mother's plight". They are a sexually transmited disease, but while they can infect all mortals, it's only in the people with a uterus that they become a problem, since it's in that enviroment that this protozoa proliferate. They are hardly noticeable, almost asymptomatic, for a long time, but while a woman is infected it is basically impossible for her to carry a pregnancy to term. All her pregnancies will end up in an abortion that has a very high chance of becoming septic.
. My eyes glow with sinister light when i say the word "septic". but this is not the best part, oh no. To ensure that this disease spread with reasonable efficiency, these protozoa can also mess with the hormones of their host, simulating their libido as if they were in their most fertile periods. This should ensure an high rate of mating, so that the plague may spread uncontested.

This instead i say while i materialize another petri's dish in my hand. is a more classical, short-term solution that will be an useful distraction for the mortals. A simple airborne virus with an high mutation rate and lethal effect, an enchanced form of influenza if you will, that also happen to infect wild migratory birds. They shall act as reservoirs, soo that human will never be able to eradicate it

And, dulcis in fundo, i could not leave these little parasites go unmentioned I say while a carpet of squiggly worms beagins to whrite at my feet, they have a two-part life cycle. The first half is spent inside a mosquito, or some other blood-sucking insect. There, they lay eggs that the mosquito will then inject in he definitive host. An human male. These worms modify the mosquito beheaviour so that it is attracted only by the human male hormonal signature, so no wasted shots. Once inside their host bodies, the larvae quickly find their way to the genitals, and take residency in the testicles where they grow and reproduce, before releasing their eggs in the bloodstream. By the time their hosts realize something is wrong, their reproductive capacity, is long gone. And, as you may have noticed, these are animals, not viruses, so vaccines will not be effective. The disgust can clearly be heard in my voice when i say "vaccines".

So, what do you say? I must admit, these may be some of my best creations in a long time. I was waiting the right moment to unleash them on the world, but apparently it came even sooner than i expected. Trust me when i say that tecnology will easily catch up with hman population once i release them among mankind. The pride in my voice is almost palpable.

Also, as you may have noticed, only one of these plagues is lethal. So it's less work for you Theotl I say with a wink, thoough it's hard to recognize it under the cowl.

Juras buried his face in his hands and cursed. "Merde, Quiraji. I know that you (Usually) don't make diseases out of Ill will, but this is going a little bit overboard. And you know that I am the Protector of Innocents, so I will do anything I can to at least ease pain. And for heaven's sake, won't you let me redo the bog of a district you call home. Almost all of the other residents have moved out. I could make it into a beautiful paradise". He knocked back the rest of his wine. "Good thing I brought something stronger". He pulled out a bottle of Scotch and filled his glass. "Normally, I don't drink this much, but these circumstances permit exceptions".
