IC is up

Before the foundation of the world as we know it, there was nothing...nothing except a being. This being had no name, and to this day is simply referred to as "The Life Giver". The Life Giver divided his being into two. One half forming the galaxies, planets, and mortal beings that inhabit them, collectively known as the Mortal World. The other half of the Life Giver formed into a spiritual plane of existence. While not as vast as the Mortal Universe, it had its own inhabitants. The inhabitants of the spiritual plane, however, were much more powerful and were given authority and responsibility over the Mortal World. The inhabitants of the spiritual plane, later called the Spiritual World, became known as gods. In this RP, you will play as one of these gods.

So here's how we're going to do apps. I will accept a total of 3 Titan gods other than myself as Athanatos. Everyone else will RP as Deva gods. The power difference between Titan and Deva gods is significant but not so much that a Deva god could never defeat a Titan in battle, especially if several of them teamed up. Each god fits into a god category. So, for instance, if someone makes a Titan god who is the "God of Fire" he'd fit into the nature god category. Any other god after that who fits into the nature god category would be a part of that Titan's pantheon. Apps are below. Look at my app as an example. If there's any question about which category your god would fit into, just ask and we'll figure that out.

Only submit a domain app if you've been accepted as a Titan.

Interesting. Is this mythic tech mostly, as in the ancient stories, or what era is it for the mortals? Will the mortal plane be relevant? If present times, is it possible with a minor god of smartphones, for example?

That's a good point. I should have put an Earth spoiler with some info. The Mortal World will have some relevance, yes. Haven't fully decided which direction I will go yet but I have a few ideas based on the previous god rp I was a part of. As far as the era though, it is the modern era. So we'll go with 2019. So yes, a god of smartphones (or maybe technology would make more sense) would be acceptable. The World of the Gods does not possess that level of technology though, so a god with those type of powers would be severely limited within the Spiritual World. The world of the gods would be like ancient tech from ancient stories.

Ok, got it. Can human tech (or whatever intelligent creature there is) defeat the gods, in the unlikely event that they all unite, or is the sheer divine power way too strong?

The only thing humans possess that could really even damage gods would be like strong explosives and nukes. Humans also don't have any access to the Spiritual World, so even if they somehow managed to push the gods off Earth. They could simply go home and recuperate without any fear of invasion and then return when they're ready. So to answer your question, I'd say no, humans honestly wouldn't stand a chance against the gods with their tech. Unless we decided to bring in magic to the human world but I don't think I'll do that.

Hey Quavv, it's been a while. I'd like to reserve a Titan for a bit. You mentioned that the mortal world is our earth, but that the gods have mortal followers on Earth. Is this an alternate history where our gods are worshiped by major religions, or are they worshiping our gods unknowingly?

Accepted! One question, are you saying he spends a lot of time in the seas of the Mortal World as well as the Spiritual World? Also, please submit a Domain app. All Titans rule territories within the spiritual world.

Hey Utceforp, it has been a while. Good to see you're still on here! A lot of people have had questions about Earth so let me make a spoiler about it in the OP now. In short though, the religions of our real world don't exist in this RP world. So religion-wise, this is an alternate universe. The humans of this world are also fully aware of gods. So there aren't any Atheists or Agnostics, it's pretty much just that everyone picks which god to worship.

There's no real limit on the amount of powers. You can't be the god of more than one thing if that's what you were asking, but, for example, a God of Water could have a variety of water manipulation abilities, but also have like flight or something. But the same God wouldn't have like fire manipulation or super speed or anything. Sorry that's not a really good explanation. I might just have to take it on a case by case basis and decide if I want to accept certain things.

Geminus iconic Beautiful Teal, Blue, Purple, and Green Mosaic buildings are a beautiful sight. Geminus is home to Palace de la Mer, the beautiful palace on the sea home to Juras.
Name of worshipers: Aqualites
Powers and abilities of worshipers: Mild water control and Empathy
Appearance of worshipers: In Blue or Teal hoods, Aqualites have beautiful tunics, like the God himself. However, In war, the Aqualites don silver armor studded with Lapis or Turquoise, again like the God himself.

Powers and abilities: Their body heals extremely rapidly and shapeshifts to adapt to danger, and they can spawn hordes of smaller monsters from their flesh at will. They can teleport by willing their current body to decay into dust and manipulating lifeforms in another location to rapidly merge and grow into a new body for them. They can command non-sapient monsters and animals, and manipulate their flesh at will if in physical contact with them. Their blood is a viscous black substance that is highly toxic, even to other gods. Their normal body is extremely large and strong, even for a god. They can fly using their wings.

Short Bio: Zhah Abus Nimu is not one but three gods, sharing a body, aspect, and Domain. Nimu is the left head, Abus is the right head, and Zhah is the central head. Everything grows faster in Telmun, and takes longer to die. The deeper into the marshes you go, the larger and more dangerous the creatures within become. So Athanatos is the Titan of the Conceptual Pantheon
Juras is the Titan of the Nature Pantheon
and Zhah, Abus, and Nimu are collectively the Titan of the Spiritual Pantheon.
So Rykil’s character will be the Titan of the Cosmic Pantheon.

Now we just need a few devas and we can start. Lol I feel like Devas forced to live in Telmun will be annoyed.

God of: Space (Cosmic)
Titan or Deva? Titan
Powers and abilities: Dhemtar is capable of conjuring and manipulating the interstellar medium for various purposes, asteroids to hurl or harvest, nebulas to dazzle or batter, and comets to entertain or bombard. The bending of light into all known wavelengths can be used for his/others entertainment or deceptive trickery. The cosmic spool of a wormhole to transport himself acts as a prime method of moving about. His most powerful abilities consist of supernovas, allowing him to detonate a tiny star as a means of annihilation or creating various elements in the explosive death throes. His size depends on whatever measurement he so desires, although he does certainly have limits.

Short Bio: Dhemtar is the Titan God of Space, the Final Frontier and the least-explored region of the universe. When the Life Giver cut himself in two and let the Mortal World be created, Dhemtar was formed in a grand explosion to build amazing structures, planets, nebulas, and other wonderful creations from the depths of space and beyond. He believes firmly in the belief that the universe is a tremendous canvas upon an even larger easel, and he is the painter and the brush. This makes him rather caring for others, to the point that he will stoop down to save even a few worshipers. He treats the other Titans with utmost respect, as they all serve their part in the grand painting. The Pantheon of the Cosmos favors artists, scientists, inventors, and astronomers.

Domain Name: Obelora
Description of territory: Set within a field of craters lies the Domain of Dhemtar, Obelora. Obelora consists of large towers that are painted either black and onyx or white and gold, representing the two halves of the Great Beyond. Bridges and walkways connect the towers, painted a mixture of the two color sets if the towers are of opposing towers, but otherwise will be painted the same if the color sets are similar. Within the center of Obelora lies the Cosmic Unera, the palace of Dhemtar. The Cosmic Unera is a circular, pillar-like tower that is painted with swirls of both color sets. At the top of the tower five obelisks split off from the top, supporting the sphere nestled on top of them. The sphere has the continent of Unera carved onto it's top and painted with white and gold. The rest of the sphere is black and onyx. Within the sphere lies his throne room.

Powers and abilities of worshipers: The Teloculists share the same ability to manipulate the interstellar medium as well as the bending of light.

Thinking about putting in an application but I'm kind of wondering how this rp will be starting out? If the rp is starting out in 2019 like our own modern age, what have all the gods been doing all this time? Everybody put a bio but it wasn't really a bio and more a further explanation on their powers and stuff like that. I might be better able to decide just what kind of character to make if I could figure out what tone has been set at the start.
