The No True Scotsman has to do with altering your parameters for a statement after the fact when presented with exceptions to your statement. It does not, and never has, meant that groups can have no requirements to membership.

I did not say the Nazis were good people, I said they were moderate for their time. Look at Woodrow Wilson. The Nazis were singled out as horrific because their genocide was conducted against whites.
