Peace rings through the air. The ink of the Adelaide Accords was still drying, but conflict still loomed. In Seidang, that harsh battlefield where Dutch and Deritain forces clashed eight years earlier, they were destined to meet once again. However, this time, as allies, joined against a common enemy, the pretender emperor, Chanchai who'd captured the majority of Seidang and most importantly, the holy capital of Buôn Ma Ria. The new Alliance would intervene in Seidang and restore the rightful Emperor, Liang, to the throne.

Rear Admiral Ellen Calot was placed in the command of the Dutch Marine Corps tasked for the invasion of Seidang and from the command center aboard the Anna Charlotte, the great aircraft carrier that had become veteran of the Seidanese War eight years earlier and had become a symbol of Dutch naval might during the Eacusian War which had begun only a little over two years ago and had concluded just last year. Beneath Calot were five division leaders: Mart van 't Jacobs Lorkeers, Petra Runhaar, Willemein Camphuis, Klaas-Jan Watering and Egbert Koek, each division referred to by their commander's last name. These leaders of the 25,000 strong invasion force, aboard a fleet of amphibious hovercraft carrying several vehicles, supplies and soldiers sailed towards the port city of Son Ky in northern Seidang.

The port town of Son Ky was lightly defended. The Chanchaist forces had captured most of the country, but haphazardly. For months they’d been expecting for a war between the Dutch and Derita, with their leader counting on Dutch support. They’d been forced to wave a grueling fight against the Liangst for control of the capital and now they would have to fight the very allies they’d thought would lead them to victory.

As the first of the Dutch Invasion came into view of the Son Ky garrison however, there were no cries for alarm. The Chanchaists has been pressured by the Dutch to rise up against the cruel and oppressive Liang, surely, certainly they were still here to help. They’d invested so much into propping up Chanchai, and all knew that they hated Liang from their lost war against him eight years earlier. So Son Ky prepared to welcome the Dutch.
