Calling people you're arguing with "a bunch of morons" is a surefire way of not winning said argument.

What argument? To be honest, I don't even know why we are still going on about this. The debate ended 5 hours ago.

Though I agree, civilised debate ended about 5 hours ago.

Argument to prove electric cars solve the problem but you won’t accept that, somehow we diverted.

Cars need to be banned is nonsense. Clearly you haven't heard of the hybrid and electric car unless I'm mistaken, but those have its flaws too. We could improve research on new cars that pollute the environment less, or we could just use the electric car and make more chargers. Though the charging might take a while, and impatient people don't like that (ESPECIALLY me), we could also make public transportation free.

While I don't think cars need to be banned, CERTAIN countries need to make it possible to survive WITHOUT a car. It is literally impossible to live in the United States without those scummy car dealerships and their merchandise, American cities are designed more with cars in mind than people! This has indirectly destroyed entire neighborhoods. Maybe in 100 years we can talk about bans, but right now we need to make it so public transport is even availible at all to all people.

Well, as for that there is no winner or loser. It's quite a matter of perspective actually.

To be fair, we probably don’t need to produce a medical doctor every year.

Make public transportation free? How about paying those who work everyday to manage the trains from the train control center? You get service, you give something back. That’s money. I like the idea of free transport but those working will not like it...

My municipality alone does need to get more than one medical doctor per year. And we produce many more.

Well, if that were to happen, a lot of material transportation would get stuck. How will goods arrive to local shops? Trains aren't very suitable for small urban spaces, and they're too expensive. I had discussed this issue with my environment advisor before, and we came to the conclusion that, yes, cars pollute, but banning them would be too harmful. Instead, we put a emision tax and alcohol control laws. We realized that switching from polluting industries to clean ones solved our environment issue better.

Maybe not banning all vehicles immediately but in the distant future it would be a great decision.

Dear everyone who wasted there times in this shitty thread from an even more shittier user: I would first like to say I apologize to everyone I may have offended. There is no need for war. I was/am an idiot for even making thread I guess it's just a Leftist thing but you guys seem to fucking hate this idea with every being of your soul and I do too. It was a flawed argument from the start and it showes because I didn't have one single person backing me up, on my side. But it's okay because I didn't deserve it, I still don't deserve it. In all, let us not fight, let us unite and not be complete assholes and do something meaningful like talk about positive things like banning alcoholism. I can only hope you all can use just a sliver of your hearts to forgive me.
