Nation Info
Nation name: Confederacy of Northern States

National goals: Regain what was lost, rebuild, begin colonizing Enigma, and turn the military from shambles to a formidable fighting force.

Nation's Leader: Emperor Lothar mn Suesani

National Government: The Imperium is somewhat of an absolute monarchy, but how the next ruler is determined is done in a democratic fashion. Each state is subdivided further into provinces, and these provinces elect whether a pair of nobles (from the noble estate), a pair of clergymen (from the religious estate), or three commons (from the commoner's estate) will represent their province. Each of these will elect an Senator-Elector from one of the estates to represent their state. Each of these Senator-Electors hold a vote worth 100,000 people, after the popular vote for the emperor has been tallied, their votes are tallied and added to the pool of votes. Majority takes all. As for how imperial candidacy is determined, one must be a male member of the current family, or a male member of another family with marriages with the current imperial family. One must declare their intention to run for emperor if they meet the desired criteria. There are 30 Senator-Electors, and they converge in the Asáa Kwaa Náay (High Stone House).

The lower house is the Xíid Kwaa Náay (Lower Stone House), which is basically a House of Representatives. The members of this lower house are called Ts'ée'ii (lit. Group-members), and are from provincial representatives whose time in that position has expired. Basically, once your term as a provincial representative is completed, you automatically become a Ts'ée'ii, that is, if there's a position available, as the Ts'ée'ii serve for life. There are about 30 Ts'ée'ii for each state, making the Xíid Kwaa Náay have 900 members.
The emperor reserves the right to veto anything proposed as well as make laws of his own.

National history: For this nation's history, we shall start off in the 1870s, where the Caribbean war was taking place. Joining the side of that nation temporarily, Rusklandr cavalry and balloon bombs went over the border and into Arenginian land, in what is now known as the Week War, as Arengin quickly sued for peace as to not fight a war on two fronts. Ruskland only asked for maps of all kinds of northern Arengin, as well as reparations until 1880. Peace reigned until 1893, where another war had occurred, the Bronze Isles Conflict. The war was swiftly concluded with the intervention of Manticore, Skarten, Arengin, The Twelve Isles, and Aclus against the Bronze Isles defenders and Ruskland. Bronze Islanders, with the help of Ruskland, were settled within the east coast after converting them to Cthulhism. Then came the new century, the 1900s were supposed to be a great year for Ruskland-Preuben, with its industry and economy booming after recent acquisitions in former Sheepish territory in the Svacic. Then came the Morvern War in 1901, those Sheepish territories, gone. The navy? Gone. Military might? Dust. And just as things were to normalize, 1902 came and with it, the 9 Years War. Enraged Rusklandr fought tooth and nail for every inch of territory as they were pushed further and further. And at the end of it all, for what? Nothing but more dust, and no gains, well, other than reoccupying the 30 kilometer DMZ imposed by Arengin, but that was all. Thatcheron was in ruins, the East Coast charred in the fires of war. But now, it is 1912, Iohannes II's reforms have made the nation recover from the horror that was the 9 Years War. And with the restrictions imposed upon them after the Morvern War unable to be enforced, the military has been growing as fast as the industry of Ruskland-Preuben will allow, and technology researched in the 1900s have been brought up again, rocket, plane, and tank schematics.

Geography and Culture
Territory: That big red northern blob and its coastal territory. We also own a few cities in the Sheepish peninsula, too small to be seen in the map. Those cities include the former Sheepish capital. Also Red Blob in the far south, in Enigma.
Language: Haida and Ruskland-Preubenr, as well as R'lyethian and Native American languages, not to mention Bronze Islander English and Sheepish.

National Religion: Occultism, everywhere, other religions are banned as was stated in law from millennia ago that still hold water today. In the colonies however, these laws do not hold water.

National Culture/Identity: Slavic-German(Prussian) mix, with slight Baltic Prussian and Pomeranian. Native American, mostly Haida.

National Pastime: Worship, prayer, slandering the Arenginians and Skartenians, watching criminals and animals get sacrificed, hunting

National holidays:
Independence Day - Celebrated on January 2-3, this celebrates the creation of Ruskland-Preuben.
Emperor's Birthday - Celebrated on the birthday of the emperor, taxes are lowered until the end of the month, this is offset by larger tithes made by faithful Occultists. For emperors born on the first or last day of a month, the tax lowering ends at the middle day of the current or next month.
Banishment of Winter - Celebrated on the longest and coldest night of the year, massive bonfires are the hallmark of this celebration.
The Great Blot- Celebrated on days where a central lunar eclipse occurs, sacrifices of criminals and animals occur in the most gory way possible. Bodies of criminals are then hanged for scavenger birds to feast on.

Nation's Population: 193,435,034 million(as of 1925 census)

Internal and Global Affairs
Allies: Aydinir, Norcourt, the Solomon Islands
Enemies: Everyone, this just means don't trust anybody, not hate everything that moves.
Political issues: Getting smacked on the head for rebuilding the military by the Western League.
Chance of revolt: There was one in late 1911, but it was crushed brutally and its leaders made an example of. No chance of revolt as of today.

Military
Greatest Victory: Battle of the Bog, numerically and technologically superior Arenginian forces were routed by a lesser Rusklandr force. This resulted in the Counterstrike.
Most Embarrassing Defeat: Most naval engagements, probably because we were using outdated ships.
Military Statistics, Manpower

Army

During the Great War, the Royal Army was organized into divisions of Infantry and Cavalry, with supporting companies, battalions, regiments, and brigades from other branches. These Divisions would then be organized into Corps, which were then organized into Armies.

The Infantry Division was the backbone of the Royal Army, performing the majority of combat operations and serving as key heavy hitting force during offensives. At the start of the Great War, a single infantry division with train would have 19,714 officers and men, 793 wagons, 50 3-inch field guns, 25 3.8-inch howitzers, 10 motor cars, 61 motor trucks, 62 motorcycles with sidecars, 12 airplanes, 32 ambulances, 212 other carriages, 5,175 horses, 3,847 mules, 74 machine guns, 13,733 rifles, and 6,525 pistols. In 1916, the Infantry Division was reorganized to take advantage of increased numbers of motor vehicles. The new division had 20,002 men, 392 wagons, 50 3-inch field guns, 25 3.8-inch howitzers, 32 motor cars, 621 motor trucks, 67 motorcycles with sidecars, 12 airplanes, 32 ambulances, 5,037 horses, 2,066 mules, 74 machine guns, 13,986 rifles, and 6,561 pistols. There were 100 infantry divisions at the start of the war, though this would double to almost 200 by the end of the war.

The Cavalry Division was the elite of the Royal Army, seen as the home of the nobility and those of a gentler stock. However, the advent of trench warfare and the use of machine guns would result in the Cavalry being relegated to scouting and rear area security roles. At the start of the Great War, a single cavalry division would have 12,722 officers and men, 607 wagons, 25 3-inch field guns, 8 motor cars, 37 motor trucks, 24 trailers, 48 motorcycles with sidecars, 12 airplanes, 24 ambulances, 61 other carriages, 11,619 horses, 3,429 mules, 84 machine guns, 9,025 rifles, and 11,312 pistols. In 1916, the Cavalry Division was reorganized to take advantage of increased availability of motor vehicles. The new division had 12,833 officers and men, 432 wagons, 25 3-inch field guns, 21 motor cars, 319 motor trucks, 24 trailers, 69 motorcycles with sidecars, 12 airplanes, 24 ambulances, 61 other carriages, 11,553 horses, 2,169 mules, 84 machine guns, 9,202 rifles, and 11,246 pistols. A total of 14 Cavalry Divisions were raised during the War.

A Corps during the Great War would have 4 Infantry Divisions, a Replacement and School Division of 20,976 men, and a Base and Training Division of 23,552 men. A Corps Troops section would include 21,139 personnel, 4,120 horses, 1,705 mules, 72 mortars, 458 machine guns, 421 automatic rifles, 12,258 rifles, 10,745 pistols, 200 motor cars, 65 motor cars with machine guns, 535 motorcycles with sidecars, 79 motorcycles, 173 bicycles, 66 rolling kitchen trailers, 54 rolling animal kitchens, 99 4-mule combat wagons, 67 R and B trucks, 105 R and B wagons, 56 Engineer Wagons, 53 Water Carts, 50 Animal Ration Carts, 3 Ration Carts, 5 Medical Carts, 20 Reel Carts, 72 Hand Carts, 104 Tractors, 104 Combat Trucks, 408 Ammunition Trucks, 572 Supply Trucks, 40 Repair Trucks, 48 Tank Trucks, 11 Artillery Supply Trucks, 12 Artillery Repair Trucks, 2 Wireless Trucks, 2 Telephone Trucks, 1 Equipment Repair Truck, 1 Radio Truck, 1 Photo Truck, 1 Lighting Truck, 5 Winch Trucks, 5 Tender Trucks, 2 Baggage Trucks, 2 Delivery Trucks, 4 Machine Trucks, 1 Office Truck, 12 Parts Trucks, 36 Limbers and Caissons, 1 Animal Ambulance, 61 Motor Ambulances, 55 Trailers, 6 4-wheel Trailers, 1 Baggage Trailer, 1 Crane Trailer, 5 Machine Trailers, 6 Supply Parts Trailers, 28 Trail-mobile Water Carts, 76 Airplanes, 5 Balloons. The total of 142,154 men at the start of the war and 143,306 men at the end of the war. Five such Corps would be assigned to a Field Army. 25 Army Corps existed at the beginning of the war, rising to 50 by the end of it.

A Field Army would boast the 5 Corps, a total of 881,610 officers and men, plus the Army Troops, a force of roughly 115,465 officers and men. A Field Army at full strength at the start of the war would therefore have had 826,235 officers and men, growing slightly as the war progressed to an authorized strength of 831,995 officers and men. There were 5 Field Armies at the start of the war, though this grew to 16 by the time the war ended in 1921.

The National Defense Act of 1925, passed into law in January, reorganized the Royal Army into a more mobile and heavily mechanized force, creating a plan to create 16 infantry divisions and 4 armored divisions, with the Infantry Divisions to number 14,037 men and the Armored Divisions to number 10,670 men, for a total of 224,592 men in the divisional troops and another 643,580 men supporting them. The Royal Army would be centered around three key components: Army Ground Forces, Army Air Forces, and Army Service Forces. A further 272 Cadre divisions were formed in the Ready Reserve for training. The Cadres can more than triple the Army's strength within a year of mobilization.

The Army Ground Forces would contain the arms focused on conducting ground warfare, namely Infantry, Armor, Cavalry, Field Artillery, Anti-Aircraft Artillery, Anti-Tank Artillery, and Coastal Artillery. This force is set to contain 444,271 men.

The Army Air Forces would contain the arms focused on conducting air warfare, namely Fighter Force, Bomber Force, Transport Force, and Ground Attack Force. This force contains 301,088 men.

Finally, the Army Service Forces would contain the arms focused on supporting the AGF and AAF, including Signals, Quartermaster, Chemical, Logistics, Military Police, Medical, Ordnance, Finance, Training, Engineers, and Transportation. This force contains 592,139 men.

The Royal Army is organized into 3 geographically centered theaters, each named for their locations. The Dehum Theater, headquartered in Cambrea, finds itself responsible for all AGF, AAF, and ASF units on the Dehum Continent, as well as for General Headquarters, Royal Army. The Nuwe Afrikaa Theater, headquartered in Forsyth, finds itself responsible for all AGF, AAF, and ASF units on the Nuwe Afrikaan Continent, as well as having the dubious honor of maintaining the peace along the heavily fortified border with Arengin. Finally, the Tamir Theater, headquartered in Upton, is responsible for all AGF, AAF, and ASF units on the Tamir Continent as well as maintaining the peace along the heavily fortified border with Skarten. Each Theater has approximately men from Army Ground Forces, men from Army Service Forces, and men from Army Air Forces for a total of approximately men authorized in each theater.

Each of the 4 Armored Divisions will have 10,670 men, 195 medium tanks, 77 light tanks, 54 105mm self propelled guns, 434 M1919 machine guns, 382 M1921 machine guns, 2,811 M1921 Machine Pistols, 7,091 M1917 Rifles, 609 Anti-Tank rifles, 466 tracked carriers, and 2,276 trucks and cars. 42 are currently active, with 12 fully equipped with modern tanks and armored vehicles.

Each of the 16 Infantry Divisions will have 14,037 men, 6,349 M1917 rifles, 405 M1918 Automatic Rifles, 211 M1919 machine guns, 237 M1921 machine guns, 90 60mm mortars, 54 81mm mortars, 558 anti-tank rifles, 57 57mm anti-tank guns, 54 105mm howitzers, 12 155mm howitzers, and 2,114 trucks and cars. 84 are currently active, including 59 formed from existing stocks of vehicles and weapons and 25 formed from new production.

The Divisions are organized into Infantry or Armored Corps, with each containing 4 divisions. There are Infantry Corps, comprised of 280 men in the Corps Headquarters, 56,148 men in the Combat Divisions, and 66,020 men in the Corps Troops for a total of 122,448 men. There are also Armored Corps, each comprised of 280 men in the Corps Headquarters, 42,680 men in the Combat Divisions, and 66,020 men in the Corps Troops for a total of 108,980 men.

Army Air Forces, meanwhile, would be authorized 54 air groups. 636 very heavy bombers, 2,458 heavy bombers, 1,196 medium bombers, 684 light bombers, 3,733 fighters, 438 reconnaissance aircraft, 2,124 transport aircraft, 2,124 trainer aircraft, and 762 communications aircraft. Army Air Forces would also maintain 84 main bases, 26 satellite bases, 71 auxiliary fields, 106 bombing and gunnery ranges, 9 hospitals, 15 pilot schools, 103 offices, 15 tech schools, 52 college training detachments, and 15 specialized storage depots. A total of 4 very heavy bombardment groups, 16 heavy bombardment groups, 4 medium bombardment groups, 2 light bombardment groups, 16 fighter groups, 7 transport groups, 3 reconnaissance groups, and 2 composite groups are maintained.

Each Very Heavy Bombardment Group has 45 aircraft and 2,078 personnel. Each Heavy Bombardment Group has 72 Aircraft and 2,261 personnel. Each Medium Bombardment Group has 96 aircraft and 1,759 personnel. Each Light Bombardment Group has 96 aircraft and 1,304 personnel. Each Fighter Group has between 111 and 126 aircraft and 994 personnel. Each Transport Group has between 80 and 125 aircraft and between 883 and 1,837 personnel. Reconnaissance Groups do not have a standardized number of squadrons and each squadron has between 18 and 27 planes and between 233 and 474 personnel. The two composite groups are primarily for flight training.

In the event of War, the Army can rapidly increase its size by 55 infantry and 13 armored divisions and can continue that, with current projections for a Great War type conflict putting the final Army strength at 338 divisions within four years. To facilitate this, the Empire has constructed a substantial war industry, much left over from the Great War. This industry maintains its capabilities by gradually modernizing the Regulars, the Reserves, and then the Home Guard. To reduce expenditures, however, these materials are maintained under funding from provincial and local governments, as are the Home Guard troops. Should another Great War break out, the Empire is more than prepared to meet the challenge.

The Royal Manticoran Navy organizes her combat power into squadrons, divisions, and flotillas, which are then combined into fleets.

The basic Naval element is the Division, a formation of 2 to 4 ships, depending on the type. Submarine and Destroyer Divisions tend to contain 3 to 4 ships, with 3 to 4 Divisions to a Squadron. Submarines and Destroyers are the only ship types which group squadrons into larger Flotillas, with 2 to 3 squadrons led by a Light Cruiser constituting a Flotilla.
Cruiser divisions are more rare, consisting of around 3 Heavy Cruisers or 4 Light Cruisers if part of a squadron. Cruiser Squadrons, when formed, contain 4 Cruiser Divisions, though they have not been actively formed by the Royal Navy in several decades.
Battlecruiser Divisions contain 3 battlecruisers, with 2 divisions to each Squadron.
Battleship Divisions contain 5 battleships and serve as the basic unit for Battleship Force.

Presidential Branch The Presidential Branch has these powers: the control of the military, it can propose laws and declarations of war, in charge of foreign relations, partial control of Economic Branch, partial control of Congress, and the partial control of Senate. It is ran by the President, the Vice President and the Prime Minister. The President has a term of 6 years, and can be re-elected once. The Vice President shares one term with the President and is decided by the President. The Prime Minister stays in power until he resigns, is removed from power, or dies. The Prime Minister stands as a last resort in case the President and Vice President die and/or can't perform their duties. The Prim Minister has no real powers, and is mainly used as propaganda and is a symbol of the pseudo-monarchy within Breyburg.

NATION INFORMATION

Image

Nation name: The Slavic Kingdom of the Arengin Union

National goals: To rebuild the broken world and to expand our influence by both sea and land, and by trade, diplomacy or force if we have to.

Nation's Leader:
Head of State: King Nikolai Oswyn IV
Image
Cabinet
Minister of the Interior Kostomarov Larion
Minister of War Gen. Zhivenkov Korney Gennadiyevich
Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Dotskoy
Minister of Industry Gribanov Agafon

Minister of the People Silvestrov Jaroslav Alesnarovich
Minister of Agriculture Talalikhin Spiridon
Minister of Land Yuri Garan
Minister of Finance Nikita I. Nikolayevich
High Representative: Dimitri Nevski

National Government: The Kingdom of Arengin functions as a constitutional democracy with a representative camera called the Duma which is headed by the Minister of the Interior. Representatives are voted into the Duma by the people and represent their proper regions, the Duma votes on and proposes laws, they can appoint judges, authorize the creation or addition of new provinces and appoint governors for that region or province depending on what the people voted for the most. The king can choose to veto any proposed legislature that passes the Duma. The representatives are voted by the people and serve a term of 6 years, and can be re elected. the king has final say in things regarding national security.

The military council called the Consevaya is headed by the king and the appointed commanders of each branch of the military. the members of the council are the highest of military commanders whiting the Royal Arenginian Military Forces. they can propose and advice in times of war or civil strife.

National history:
Arenginians, Tarkians, Meadowians, Skartenians, and Solotoviskians began as nothing but part of the same Ruskland tribes of first Slavs that first began to spread through the western lands back in 700BC and 600BC. For years the original Ruskland people were nothing but scattered nomadic villages that traded with each other and were never of much wish to strife between each other. The land was peaceful and fertile along the inner wooden regions, mountains surrounding the valleys with snow falling in winter and yet most tribes would support each other in times of hardship. The Ruskland people seemed to be in an odd place between indifference but also solidarity with each other.

Through the years between 600BC to 500BC many of the tribes that once considered themselves Ruskland began to form their own cultural identity separated from the Ruskland one. These identities had existed before in different variations before the unity but with a wish for self determination many tribes simply began to distance themselves from the Ruskland name into new tribal names such as Aren, Tarkans, Medovans, and several others, these tribes were prevalent in the West of the Ruskland dominion.

When the Germanic Preuben tribes were met in 478BC much of the cultural shift that started beforehand was further established in the south as many tribes didn't want to associate with the Preubenians. Influenced by the various militant and expansionist nature of the Preubenians, as well as the eventual merging of it with the dominant tribe Ruskland the many tribes of the south spearheaded by Aren began to turn militant and more assertive of their own culture.

In the beginning the Arengin region was no more than grasslands, woods, and mountain ranges. The different tribes at the north had joined together to flee from the region known as Preuben, which was dominated by the Rusklands who began to persecute the many other ethnic groups in the name of their religion and god. The Rusklands believed in their racial superiority given by Cthulhu, thus raging a holy war against the Arenginians, Tarkians, and Meadowians who then began to flee south. These exodus went through years of travel through the harsh winters of the north, the swamps, deserts, and tropical forests of Aydinir and the freezing Urus mountains. The Kavelians however, proved to be friends that joined with the colonist and led them through the mountians until arriving to the fertile and prosperous Valek southern regions. It was then when the colonists regions decided to settle in the year AC 200 when the Southern Slavic culture was born. The Arengins It was all simply a mix of small camps and settlements that dominated the region. In AC 298 many different tribes, and settlements joined together to make a united state, this in order to be able to be able to eliminate the divide and strife between the many tribes. It was also in order to be able to stand up against any possible Rusk or Aydiniran attacks in the future. It came to be in the Reunion of Minds, where all leaders of the different tribes decided to settle their differences and unify in order to face any threat that would come. The Reunion was a long and tedious one, everyone wanted to be king, some wanted to have a council, others didn't want reunification at all, Sakev Glad, leader of the Bearclaw clan was the one that proposed a mixture of the system, for it to be a council and a King that answered to said council.

Though hesitant, the leaders of the tribes agreed and after a voting by the council itself, Glad was chosen as king. This was known as the Incarnation Age, the first king, Sakev Glad was a man of ambition who wished for the Kingdom (As it was known then) to be prosperous and self sustaining. Glad invoked several reforms and encourage the Slav people to farm and move elsewhere if the land was not fertile, and so the people did as the King said.

The Slavs expanded eastward, they came across the area of what now is the Arenginian- border, the land was green and fertile. Farming began as well as hunting and soon Arenginian had it's source of food. Soon Arengin was established as a legitimate state in the Year AC 400. By this time the Kingdom was known as the Aren Kingdom, and Glad has been seen as the Father of the nation. The Incarnation Age ended in the year AC 800, when Arengin was already well known, this was followed by the mighty yet violent Age of Iron in which the Kingdom was involved in war after war either for dominance, expansion, or defense.

Age of Iron Edit
After the Aren kingdom was declared it became a time of prosperity and peace, until the day the Aydiniran expeditions began to enter Aren territory in the Urus mountains in 1125. This would be the first contact between the two civilizations and would mark a decisive confrontation between the two. For the people of Arengin this era was known as the Age of Iron, since for years now the region had enjoyed its near endless iron and gold mines. During this initial period of the Age of Iron king Roham Ulir was the man leading the Aren kingdom.

For several hundred years the Aren Kingdom went on to become a prosperous empire that was vast and filled with resources and regions of all. Extending its rule further up north and either annexing the tribes and settlements there or pushing them to the much colder areas.

However, it was in the year 1412 that The Kingdom was invaded by the Ruskland Dominion, the Old Slaves from the North where the Arenginians had emigrated from, they followed the lead of a man simply known as the Supreme. The invasion began as a victory for the Pretiots, and the Aren Kingdom following the lead of King Jomar the III retreated to the mountains in order to prepare for a the retake of Aren. This was the Age of Thwart for the Aren people,

The Dominion and the Aren Kingdom fought each other for decades, the Dominion fearing Aren's expansion. The Dominion of Ruskland-Preusen at a point managed to split the Aren Kingdom in half until it was pushed back to the Gulliuan River.

The war lasted more than 100 years, with both sides claiming major victories and losses. it was finally by 1514 that Prince Davlec led a successful attack on the city of Priog, the last Ruskland bastion of defense in the Valekian forests. The battle ended in victory for the Southern slavs and the end of the Dominion's campaign. This marked the end of the Thwart Age.

After the war Prince Davlec was named king and people waited for years of peace and prosperity under the leadership of King Davlec, however Davlec opted to turn the Aren Kingdom into a Constitutional Monarchy, where the people would have a word in the leadership of the nation. The Aren Kingdom was then renamed the Arengin Kingdom.

Eventually Davlec pushed the much weaken Ruskland Dominion into the deep ends of Tacherton, despite their resistance the Aren armies were too strong for them to stop it. This left a much bitter sentiment from the Ruskland people, which would go to become the Ruskland-Preuben Empire, and a bitter enemy of Arengin.

Age of Rebirth Edit
For many centuries Arengin kept expanding under the reign of the Oswyn lineage, Alexander I the Wise was the first Oswyn king who led Arengin to conquer various lands beyond the Urus mountains and the Valley of Diul. This was met with severe resistance by the Germanic nation of the West, Wargloria and the Slavic uncivilized city states of the north. However Arengin faced these people without fear, driving the opposing Slavs from New Immortalia and excluding them to the northern Siber region.

As for Wargloria, there was continued small wars and skirmishes with each other, Wargloria eventually succeeded in keeping the Arenginian away from conquering the rest of the western continents for over a 100 years until the day that King Mikhail Oswyn led successful campaigns to take Stratovar and Chrobalta for Arengin, thus straining the relationship between Wargloria and Arengin even further. Mikhael died in 1828 leaving his much hot headed heir Ivan to led the nation further.

Ivan was known as Ivan the Butcher and led the country with an iron fist, suppressing any and all opposition. Until one day in 1854 when he ordered his troops to fire on a crowd of protesters in the Blue Square of St. Osloverg. This despite his son's advise. Alexander II Oswyn, son of Ivan was renowned as being a benevolent prince and most of the council and the people of Arengin wanted him to become king.

In 1860 Ivan abdicated the throne to his son Alexander, the boy was 23 at the time. The reason for abdicating was because Ivan suffered from cancer on the lungs, his abdication was in the prelude of a violent revolution against him. This revolution was narrowly avoided by Alexander's calls for peace and repealing of many unfair and tyrannical laws that Ivan had instill to move the nation forward at the cost of fear of his people. He also remade the national anthem to highlight a new era for Arengin and that the people would suffer no longer.

Under Alexander the II's rule Arengin prospered even more than before, taking advantage of its resources and influence in the world he aimed to modernize and expand Arengin, which he did and by the time he was in his 40's Robesonistan, Araenbhum and parts of Rheinhalt belonged to Arengin. Modernization became a priority for King Alexander II as he managed to bring electricity, economic prosperity, and military dominance for the Arenginians. The wars of the Carriebean proved that Arengin was capable to be a major power in the world. Several more conflicts followed which saw the Arenginians both seeing major victories and sometimes defeats. He continued to led the empire until his death in the late 1800's his son Nikolai took over as King soon after his passing.

Arengin led the then GDU against the AORN during the 9 years war, bloody campaigns in Ruskland, the Traansval, the Afrikaas as well as the sea saw millions of both GDU and AORN soldiers killed, eventually the GDU won the war but at a bittersweet end as the world was fractured and the victory had only been a strategic one and tensions remained between Arengin and the Manticore Empire. Out of 25 million men recruited in the war over 7,323,432 Arenginian soldiers died in the war, with 4,255,334 more wounded, Arengin took the heaviest human casualties of the war. While naval losses were lesser than Manticore's, Arengin saw only 2 dreadnoughts being heavily damaged but still in working condition after the war, however the other losses were significant, with 5 battlecruisers, 18 pre-dreadnoughts, 80 cruisers, 78 submersibles, 121 destroyers, and 65 torpedo boats lost during the course of the war, taking 80,000 sailors to the bottom. While the Arenginian Navy lost fewer ships than the Manticoran Navy, the Arenginian Navy was smaller than the Manticoran one by the end of the war, both in absolute terms and tonnage. With the 9 years war at an end Arengin saw much death of young men who went to fight, many of her naval and colonial assets destroyed and under occupation as well as economic and social problems that began to take a toll by the end of the war, luckily the country survived with most of its inner workings remaining, still it has to rebuild for what the future may hold.

The Ataloc Tradorov self propelled rocket gun. This weapon fires a 1.2-pound (0.54 kg) high-explosive shell at 800 feet (244 meters) per second; it also can fire an armour-piercing round at 1,000 feet (305 meters) per second. The gun's 40x79R cartridge is a shortened version of the naval 40x158R anti-airship cartridge, with the shell case reduced from 158 mm (6.22 inches) to 79 mm (3.11 inches) in length.

ImagePortable Anti Tank Alotov Rifle
A single-shot weapon which fired a 14.5×114mm round, although unable to hit tanks from the front, the sides and the rear are the best places to shoot at. In large firing numbers it can prove to be very effective. Light, portable, and more accurate than the Ataloc.

WIP
NATION INFORMATION

Nation name: (The Federation of) Rannoria

National goals: Once it was to expand power. Now it is to rebuild and attempt to thrive.

Nation's Leader: Grand Vail Adance

National Government: The Federation of Rannoria is lead by the Grand, an elected position lasting for five years per term. Each Grand is able to have a maximum of 4 terms before being unable to be elected in again, in accordance with the constitution. The Grand is elected by the people, where each province has 1 vote. Unfortunately, the process is slightly more complicated, as the people themselves do not actually vote for the Grand. Instead, the people elect a governor (the leader of a province) who in turn puts in his vote for the Grand. This may lead to issues of course, as promises can be broken, and people may be lied to.

In total, there are 11 governors. One for each of the following provinces: The Rannkradle Capital Area, Northern Maxtopia, Southern Maxtopia, Eglise Saint Eve, Shoten, Fengate, Pasargard, Shielden, Welfers, Onderan, and Lubezyk. Despite answering to the Grand and having to abide to the national constitution, each governor holds a good amount of control in each of their own provinces. Although limited, the governors can change mant laws exclusive to their respective provinces.

The Councils of Vrei and Ordus are two councils each comprising of 6 people hand picked by the Grand. They are his closest advisors, and used to technically hold the second most amount of power in Rannoria (or most, depending on who you ask), though now they have been relegated to mostly cultural positions, while still being advisors to the Grand.

National history:
Rannoria was formed long ago when the two religious groups (the Banjoists and the Sitarists) battled each other for dominance of the Rannorian peninsula. The Banjoists won and established their branch of the religion as the dominant branch in the area. Soon, under the great Rann Kader, those lands united and formed Rannoria. Slowly but surely, Rannoria began to grow.

The Maxtopians, a different ethnic group, soon came into contact with the Rannorians. Despite having larger lands, they were fractured, and so Rannoria saw this as an opportunity for expansion and trade. Again, Rannoria expanded, though this did not mean there were no issues.

The Sitarists fled upwards to Maxtopia, where their religion was preached. Despite being in the same religious family, the two branches despised each other, and so with the Maxtopians leading the Sitarists and the Rannorians leading the Banjoists, the First String War was fought. The Rannorians arose as the victors, but this began the long and unsteady relationship between the two groups.

For centuries, the Rannorians held onto their land, and time and time again, there were always insurrection for whatever reasons. In the 1400s, the Blackguard Union arose, and their conflict resulted in the Greatest Trials, a series of bad times and events that occurred in Rannoria during this conflict. Against all odds, Rannoria pulled through.

Now in recent times, the hardy Rannorian spirit persists. In 1870, Grand Sios Adance took charge, and began to push Rannoria to a further step in industrialisation. Increasing tensions between Rannoria and its other ancient rival, Wargloria, lead to the construction of the Greatest Defense, a series of trenches, artillery pieces, and other defensive mechanisms spanning the Rannorian-Warglorian border. Ensured peace and stability greeted Rannoria at this time. Sios pushed Rannoria into an age of prosperity and industry, but he didn't have enough time. He had made allies, and enemies too, but in 1894, a year before his third term ended, he was hospitalised. He died at age 49.

The new Grand was Sios' closest advisor, Vernon Askwell. Under him, Rannoria stayed the same. No real progress was made, but no one complained. Then, in 1900, Askwell was voted out in favour of Henrique Havenoff. Henrique seemed to be powerful, and he was. His influence his great. His charisma legendary, and his connections limitless. But he also sought to erode the Rannorian democracy. This would never come to reality until 1902, when the Great War started. At first Rannoria seemed ready. With a capable navy, coastal guns at the ready, and a formidable defensive line the Rannorians seemed prepared. But Henrique got too cocky. He sent troops to trivial battles in the colonies despite the councils advising him otherwise, telling him to hold the line in Rannoria. He started demanding that the military push against the Warglorians and to leave the Greatest Defense. His greatest folly, perhaps, was his High Order to invade Aclus. The superior Aclusian navy destroyed Rannorian warships, and sunk thousands of men. Rannoria would never see a worse defeat than that.

Then the Warglorians and Aclusians struck. A combined assault with maximum ferocity broke the Rannorian line. The Greatest Defense, now understaffed, was broken. Aclusian ships and Aclusian and Warglorian soldiers landed on Rannorian beaches. Meanwhile, Henrique was able to assume control of the nation completely due to the state of emergency, and now assumed command of the military. His bodyguards made those around him fear him. Although many people now resented him, many also still believed in his words. Under his command, the main military force of Rannoria was destroyed, and under the command of the now independent general Vail Adance was a portion of the Rannorian military able to barely hold off the invaders. The numbers and ability of the aggressors were too much. Vail, now an enemy to both the state and the GDU, was forced to rely on patriotic and poorly trained countrymen and whatever military weapons and pieces he could find. He and his men decided to make a last stand in a chain of several forts and cities, until the news was announced. Rannoria had surrendered. With the invaders only
being kilometres away from Rannkradle, the people had enough, and forced Henrique to sue for peace. In 1908, Rannoria left the war, battered and damaged like never before. Cities were destroyed. Millions were dead. Almost a quarter of the population was wounded. For three more years Rannoria toiled under an Aclusian and Warglorian occupation, and was left a defeated state..

Then, in 1911, the Great War was declared over officially, and the GDU left Rannoria. Whatever it was, hope filled the hearts of the people, and on December 25th, Vail Adance lead an army of countrymen and defecting soldiers to the capital. Henrique was encircled, and demanded that he would never surrender until Rannkradle was torn down brick by brick. But even his closest guards had enough. He was shot that day, holes filling his body, and his rule was over. Vail Adance took charge temporarily with the military supporting him, but he knew he couldn't do anything important in his temporary rule. He dedicated his time to comforting the people, and to restoring the federation.

The next year, in 1912, the federation returned. All democratic processes were restores, and everything in the government was put in its correct place. Now, the people of Rannoria must decide who will be the one to lead them. Only time will tell if their choice will benefit them greatly, or leave them to the vultures.

This is a new era. This is 1912.

Territory: Mainland Rannoria and its Afrikan colonies.

Language: Dutch, Rannoire

National Religion: Banjoism. Too much to explain.

National Culture/Identity:
The Rannorians are a persevering people. They have seen hardship, and so they make the best of what they have with friends and family. They are good fun to have in your company, but they will never forget what happens to them.

National Pastime:
Drinking, sailing, family gatherings, Banjoist religion things, sword fighting, cards.

National holiday:
It'll be mentioned in the RP if there's anything important.

Nation's Population: Once around 81 million, and after the war it drops down to 76 million with 12 million wounded and barely able to serve.

Allies: The AoRN

Enemies: The Western League, particularly Wargloria and Aclus

Political issues: Despite just getting their democracy back, Rannoria isn't particularly politically unstable. All (or most) Rannorians want Rannora to be rebuilt, and so they are unified in that goal.

Chance of revolt: If so, then in the colonies.

Greatest Victory: The Greatest Day

Most Embarrassing Defeat: The Invasion of Aclus

NATION INFORMATION

Nation name: Newne Carriebean

National goals: Prevent the nation's collapse due to internal fighting, attempt to rally the people behind a united enemy

Nation's Leader:
Emperor Tyler I
President Noah Steel
Prime Minister Tino Tara Travskaaløfiøke

National Government: (explain it's workings and set-up)
The Carriebeanian system of governance is thus: The Emperor is permitted to do 3 out of every 10 legislative acts every single day, with a strict limit not to go over this three threshold.
Parliament, while made up of 6,000 members, is divided into three separate sections each with 2,000 members each. These are the House of Nobles, House of the People and House of Peasants. Budgetary and Bills concerning finance are started in the House of Peasants, requiring a 2/3rds majority to pass in order for those bills on the budget to pass to House of the People, then to the House of the Nobles, where each of the other two houses may edit the bills with amendments and various miniature bills attached to it. Once the bills are passed, they are sent to Congress for a full vote, where It requires a 2/3rds Majority from all 365 members and enough to overturn the president's veto if he or she issues one. The Military Hierarchy is mostly discombobulated, with the looming Constitutional Amendment issue interrupting many possible co-operations between the various branches of government and armed forces.

The President is reliant on a Cabinet of Ministers to assist in his day to day sharing of power with both the PM and Emperor.
Minister of Agriculture: Tao Bendouin Pirate Party
Minister of Manufacturing: Lee Mao Rango Christian Party
Minister of Foreign Affairs: Joseph Birmingham Harold Pirate Party
Minister of Pro Amendment: Wilhelmina Constance Pirate Party
Minister of Anti Amendment: Noble Rachel Frys Mormon Party
Minister of the Army: Jackson "Murderous Jack" Potters Pirate Party
Minister of Education: Paula Ellison Monroe Pirate Party
Minister of the Navy: Sampson "Shitty Sam" Norrington Pirate Party

National history: Carriebean's smashing defeat in the Allied-Carriebeanian War of 1870 should have taught many lessons to the Carriebeanian high command, only for those lessons to be lost among the halls of partisan politics that again engulfed the minds of many leaders. Stubby 4 foot long Carbines, outdated even at the start of the disastrous 1870 war, were still soldiered on into service, a combination of industrial insufficiency and incompetence along with a string of corruption scandals and nationalism based purely upon the gun that 'defended the nation', albeit poorly. The Carriebeanian Aggressive tempers that had gotten her ass sufficiently beaten during the war had still not caught up with the limited advancements in technology, such as Morse code. The Barbaric crimes committed during the war would change those that had fought under Carriebean's flag, with mixed feelings of national loyalty still mulling about, albeit somewhat subdued due to the track record of failures the country's military had accomplished.

The Best way to describe Carriebeanian Foreign Policy would be a transfiguration of a little kid bullying bigger kids and getting the ever loving shit kicked out of it, and yet continuing to fight despite suffering from multiple personality disorder and a broken marriage in terms of his family. It has been rather aggressive as of late, with mass buildups along our neighbor's boarders and threats to bombard them. It may be one of the few things that temporarily prevents both sides from killing each other in the halls of congress, though that hasn't' stopped an increase in political assassinations during war time with foreign states. There has even been a developing pattern which sees more killings take place when the nation is losing the war and considerably less in comparison to when Carriebean begins to win a war.

Territory: Somewhere on the Indanium Continent

Language: Olde Carriespeak

National Religion: The Main religion is mostly a mixture of Catholicism, Protestantism, Methodism and Christianity along with break away sects of Latter Day Saints, Calvinists and Islamic teachings such as Sunni and Shia Islam, although the dominant religion remains Roman Catholicism at 38% of the total population, with the following break down based on population:
Roman Catholicism: 38% (52,513,294)
Christianity: 16% (22,110,860)
Protestantism: 15% (20,728,932)
Methodism: 13% (17,965,074)
LDS: 10% (13,819,287)
Jesuit 2.7% (3,731,208)
Calvinism: 2% (2,763,858)
Shia Islam: 1.5% (2,072,893)
Sunni Islam:1% (1,381,929)
Other/Atheist/Tribal: 0.8% (1,105,543)

National Culture/Identity: Caribbean, with heavy influences of Anglo ship design,

National Pastime: political shooting galleries, giving bribes to corrupt politicians, going to war

National holiday:
June 10th -Independence Day (From lexonia)

Nation's Population: 138,192,879

Allies:(if any) Breyberg, Nihon

Enemies:(if any) Rusklandr

Political issues:(if any) When the Constitutional Convention convened to draft up a document in 1855 that added Congress and the position of president after a revolution, few of those at the meeting would think of the consequences of future generations when they left the issue of amending the constitution vague and unclear within the document. This one mistake has opened the floodgates to an ever increasing violent political scene throughout Carriebean, with Pro Amenders and Anti Amenders often cursing each other and being segregated based on political ideology on this one key issue.

Chance of revolt:(yes/no) oh hell yes

Greatest Victory: Battle of Quexino Against Lexonia which secured Carriebeanian Independence.

Most Embarrassing Defeat: Allied-Carriebeanian War of 1870.
