A resounding and unchallenged victory in the Atlantic put the People's Navy in high spirits. Thousands of civilians lay dead in retribution for the attack on Urumqi, and the Mediterranean supply lines had been shattered. It could take months until the European Crusaders could fully recover from that crushing blow to the artery of their interventionary forces.
The 3rd and 4th fleets, the so-called Pride of the Pacific, took ten days to withdraw from European shores, regrouping and re-stocking near Venezuela before quietly seeping back into the Caribbean theater.

From the mists of the East arrived the Kafairian Navy, in full force, seeking to take back the secure shipping lanes that had been robbed of them; a move which the Asian Military Command had long anticipated. The hulls of their maritime behemoths began to take form from the azure horizon, and their movements were relayed to the underground base of the Asian peacekeeping forces.
First to respond was the submarine detachment of the 2nd fleet. Five Sapa-Class underwater vessels, the P.A.S Type SSN-219A Vāmadeva, P.A.S Type SSN-219B Sadyojāta, P.A.S Type SSN-219C Īsāna, P.A.S Type SSN-219D Tatpuruṣa, and P.A.S Type SSN-219E Aghora sortied from below the Kafairian Navy's bulk. Depth charges were set and blown from all directions.
The first wave of Pan-Asiatic maritime fighters aimed to sully the course of the Kafairian Navy away from the beaches of the central island. Missile cruisers from the 7th and 9th fired long-range ballistic projectiles from the vantage of the Cayman islands.
The first phase of the Cayman contingency plan had begun.

The Shoreline
When night fell on the Skyhookedian archipelago, the 81st "Aguila" Airborne Infantry Company, 130 of the Pan-Asiatic States' most elite airborne infantrymen, began to drop from the doors of covert Xian MA60s flying at a high altitude undetected by Kafairian radars.
Quietly into the night they landed in sticks of five to re-take key coastline artillery positions which had been conquered by the starving Kafairian army. Radio silence was maintained. One by one, bases fell back into the hands of the socialist bloc.
