Sanctions on the Black Hawks

New Lifewell- Today, the President of The Archipelago proposed a bill to the senate of his region, the Excelsior League. It would ban all 21 member nations of the league from trading with each other. If approved by the Senate and the Chancellor, it would take effect in June this year. This may have a slight impact on the world economy. Debating of the bill will end Friday, and voting will start that same day. Neither the chancellor nor any of the 21 senate members have voiced their opinions on the bill publicly. The Black Hawks are known for destroying small and medium sized regions that are unable to defend themselves.

Maybe it's an alternate history. Perhaps the Paris Commune, which occurred during the Franco-Prussian War, is inhabited by occupying Prussians? Alternatively, the Franco-Prussian War could go badly for Prussia, leading to strife on the homefront and a socialist-anarchist commune breaks out in Berlin?

We support the bill by the archipelago territory to enforce a ban on trade of any goods or services with the black hawks. The black hawks are criminals and are bullying smaller regions. We support it hoping that this will weaken their economies in the long run so they won't carry on their war effort and operations as effectively. This will be only one step and it will take a long difficult collective effort to stop The Black Hawks.

[Union and Liberty]

The Empire of Union and Liberty has expressed support and sides with The Excelsior League in the sanctions against the Black Hawks and asks to open trade with The Excelsior League to help members of the league adapt to the new sanctions if put into policy.

It's great to see nations standing their ground and don't let themselves be bullied into submission by larger powers, we would like to see them commit and not let fear take the league over, we will open trade with The Excelsior League as a way for them to adapt to new changes in trade.
