The Civitatibus Foederatis Americae is interested in forming closer relations with other nations around the world. As such, Praesidis Caesar Adams Divi Filus Augustus Dominicus and the Senate of America will be authorizing the establishment of foreign embassies within the capital city of Columbia, and consulates within selected major cities across the empire.
ABOUT AMERICA- The Civitatibus Foederatis Americae rules a vast amount of land across North America, including the all of the modern continental United States, Canada, Alaska, and northern Mexico. The executive branch is headed by an emperor known as the Praesidis, who serves as both Head of State and Head of Government as well as commander-in-chief. He or she also serves as the Pontifex Maximus of Americanism, the official religion of the empire (it should be noted that whilst Americanism is the official religion, under Emendatione I, discrimination on the basis of religion is illegal). Below the Praesidis is the Caesar, the second-in-command and hand selected heir to the Praesidis. The Senate makes up the legislative branch and is a bicameral legislature, with the Domus Repraesentativis making up the upper house and the Concilium Plebis making up the lower house. The Corpus Juris Civilis is the name of judiciary branch and has a similar function as the modern American judicial branch.
The empire is made up of 20 different states (California, Alascae-Olympia, Desertia, Sonora, Texia, Dacotia, Magnolia, Florida, Bonium, Micia, Canada, Ontario, Cabecia, Nova Anglia, Nova Eburacum, Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, and Terra Maria) as well as the city of Columbia which is the personal domain of the Praesidis.
