As a kid I always enjoyed the novelty of using the computer, though now it's an everyday, mostly-done-to-kill-time-when-bored-at-home kind of activity. One place I've always liked, and still really do, is my (now elderly) paternal grandparents' house, about an hour and a half away from where I live by road, located in the woods close to a small city. They've always been rad people, and I feel removed from the outside world when I'm there, in no small part due to the lack of an Internet connection and much modern technology. In fact, I was just there today (Saturday) as it was my grandpa's birthday; I had probably one of my best days thus far in 2019.
