United Earth: Political RP - IC

The election nears and with many parties to contest the Council of Leaders, now 500 seats. Each party is given a budget of $1 billion dollars ($1,000,000,000) to allocate to the regions of the world as shown above. Money, however will not be all that there is to the election. The economic status and possibly even the history of the area will also determine which party will be voted for. For example, if a party if extremely authoritarian, don’t expect many votes out of Ethiopia. To choose not to run in a specific region, just allocate no funds to there.

Rallies and speeches will also contribute heavily, especially in the region in which they are held. The party will also gain a slight advantage where they are based. There are five major issues that would be extremely beneficial to address in speeches to gain the favour of voters. These issues are:

Gun rights and gun control
Funding towards space exploration
Separatist terrorism increasing in many parts of Africa and East Asia
Autonomy of regions
Economic handling

History of the United Earth

1919 - The treaties of the end of the First World War which proclaim the “International Union”, a single sovereign entity of many of the world’s nations comes into effect. All Entente nations and those formerly part of the Central Powers and were defeated join this union. The Japanese Empire, although fighting with the Entente in the war refuse to sign the treaties.

1922 - The Caribbean and South American nations join the International Union

1930 - Soviet leader Joseph Stalin accuses the International Union as being a capitalist superpower aimed at ridding the world of all the other ideologies. This sparks the Japanese Empire to form an unlikely defensive alliance with the Soviet Union.

1933 - Pro Internationalist Soviet rebels start a civil war in the Soviet Union. The Japanese Empire sends as much aid as possible.

1935 - The Netherlands and their colonies willingly join the International Union

1936 - Pro International Soviet rebels come out as victorious and the new government declares that the Soviet Union will join the International Union by 1940. It is unknown whether the International Union supplied these rebels.

1939 - Extreme pressure from American activists force the United States of America to hold a referendum on the status of the United States in the International Union and whether neutrality should be abandoned. The referendum overwhelmingly votes for the United States to join, with 79% of the populace voting to join. The United States will join on the same date as the Soviet Union

1940 - The Soviet Union and the United States join the International Union. The International Union is then renamed into the “United Earth”

1945 - Civil unrest grows throughout the United Earth, which forces the consolidation of the government. The Council of Leaders is formed, a council with absolute power over the entire country formed of 10 people.

1949 - The Nordic nations and Middle Eastern nations are pressured into joining the United Earth.

1953 - The Council of Leaders decides to launch a full-scale invasion of China, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet and Siam to integrate them into the United Earth. This invasion is named “Avance de l'Est”, Eastern Advance.

1968 - Avance de l'Est ends, with about 30 million casualties in total. China, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet and Siam are integrated into the United Earth. Only The Japanese Empire and Ethiopia remain as the only sovereign nations
1969 - July 20, The First Moon Landing is made a public holiday in the United Earth.

1978 - The invasion of the Japanese Empire starts, with claims that many war crimes were committed by the United Earth in Japanese Korea.

1982 - The invasion of the Japanese Empire ends with integration into the United Earth.

1983 - Protests worldwide spark out. Separatists and peace activists condemn the actions of the United Earth. It is then when the Paris massacre occurred on August 23rd. Thousands of civilians gathered on the streets of Paris before the order was sent to shoot them down mercilessly. There were over 198 deaths and hundreds more injured.

1985 - Ethiopia, the only sovereign nation left undergoes a brutal famine as all food supply outside of Ethiopia is no longer permitted to enter. The United Earth does not invade Ethiopia yet in fears of international unrest.

1993 - Millions of Ethiopians die from the famine, however the Ethiopian government still refuses to join the United Earth. This drives the United Earth to invade Ethiopia, with the Council of Leaders stating “Do not be afraid to do your duty. Exterminate all those who come into your path”

1994 - The Separatist League is formed, with thousands of members around the world. The United Earth designates them as a terrorist organisation. The invasion of Ethiopia ends with United Earth integration and the deaths of 9 million. The entire world is now united.

2000 - The Millennium protests begin worldwide. United Earth military personnel are requested to fire upon protesters in Shanghai, however they refuse. This causes many United Earth military to defect

2004 - The powers of the Council of Leaders is suspended following the protests, as the protests calm down and a provisional government is set up

2012 - The Provisional Government announces that the new United Earth will have its first democratic election in 2019, much to the delight of the citizens

2019 - The United Earth nears its first election

Marcel Leroy sat at his desk, looking over files of papers, exhausted. He glanced at the clock. 10:30 PM. He closed his eyes, muttering a prayer under his breath.

Leroy wasn't much of a detail person. The excessive paperwork and beurocracy of running a party bored him. He wanted to take bold strokes, do big things. But here he was, at a desk, looking over reports on the number of Swiss citizens who had committed tax evasion in the last year.

Leroy knew how ineffective democracies and republics were. The old system had capitulated under pressure to liberate its citizens, but Leroy knew that it was still better than this new regime. Letting the people choose their leaders? Laughable. Choice would only create division. What the people needed was a strong leader, who could give direction and exercise power unhindered by ideas of liberty, justice, and equality.

Leroy opened his eyes again, giving another glance through the documents, and, once again, bring bored by them. He glanced at his calender. A speech in Marseilles tomorrow. He would need to get some rest.

He looked at the documents strewn about on his desk. They could wait. For now he needed sleep.

Albrecht sighed as he signed away his retirement fund along with the investments of a few close friends he'd managed to make at Mauser. he leaned back in his chair scanning the document, his eyes strained after having focused on demographics info for the elections and on attempting to figure out where his carefully acquired funds ought to be allocated, after all those mountains of data and statistics Albrecht felt there was time left for some well deserved rest... yet alas there was still business to attend to, earlier this morning Albrecht had managed to get a time in for an interview on the Germanic regional radio unfortunately many of those who listened to GRR were far more attuned to a Valkist perspective of things, despite the fact that the Valkists were now an international organisation a good deal of the politically active German population made up their voter base yet still vast amounts of Germans were more inclined to right, which was a gap in the central European rival region that SovInd was perfectly ready to fill.

Albrecht shambled over to his living room and collapsed onto his couch, he extended an arm to his room and turned it onto the GRR of course the radio wasn't particularly a far reaching form of media yet hopefully there were bored commuters that had decided to tune in. Albrecht breathed a sigh of relief as the sharp tones of the interviewer simmered out of the radio.

"So Mr Muller I understand that SovInd is a fairly new party onto the political scene and compared to your rival parties it's fair to say that the people of the world have currently little reason to vote for you, how do you plan to draw voters in?"

Albrecht remembered the small smile that passed over his face as he replied "A lot of parties in the modern European environment are firmly implanted to the left of the political spectrum leaving a gap wide open for SovInd to sneak it's way into the Global parliament, secondly most of my opponents seek to limit and constrict our capitalist economy, rather than limit the potential of the free market SovInd seeks to expand and support it by offering a number of subsidies for developing businesses as well as lowering the corporate tax." Albrecht winced at this he was a man who had the tendency to speak in an officious and matter of fact kind of way, the exact wrong way to endear yourself to voters.

"I see and your stances on the devolution of the Global union have been heavily criticised by some claiming that any move towards devolution is a surrender to the separatists, what is your response to this sentiment and why exactly is it that you believe so strongly in the case of devoloution?"

"Well quite simply each of the different regions are extraordinary different to one another with different circumstances, different cultures and most importantly different economies I firmly believe that if we allow for the global regions to determine their own laws and have their own parliaments it will yield a far better quality of life for the citizens living in these regions then policies dictated by one centralised government."

"Indeed, now a number of your critics have stated that your technocratic views regarding governances could potentially pose a threat to our democracy considering that a technocracy in order to function at peak efficiency would have to do away with democracy."

"Well firstly one of the major parties in these elections are outright fascists do I don't think that i'm the one people should be worrying about, secondly I don't seem to create an outright technocracy but rather implement technocratic ideals into our current government for example using the scientific method to solve social problems."

The interview continued on for yet another hour and Albrecht could hardly be bothered to listen to his own voice drone on for that long so wearily he clambered up his stairs to his empty bed and fell face first into it, his resistance to exhaustion had not grown any stronger with age and every passing year he felt his days grow shorter yet these were elections after all and if any time was time for excessive exhaustion it was now.

Marcel stood on the stage, closing his speech. "Remember, vote for the Neo-Fascist Party." As her closed, applause went up from the crowd.

"Now," Marcel said, gazing over the crowd, "Are there any questions?" Immediately, hundreds of voices came roaring to his ears. "One at a time, please!" Marcel shouted. "One at a time!" He called out again, to no avail. He sighed, put on his loudest voice, and screamed out at the crowd. "One at a goddamn time!"

The crowd grew quieter, falling to a quiet murmur. Many reporters raised their hands. Marcel pointed at one.

"Mr. Leroy, is it true that you lead a large number of troops during the invasion of Ethiopia?" One reporter asked.

"Yes," Marcel answered.

"And do you feel that the actions in Ethiopia were justified?" The reporter shot back.

"Absolutely," Marcel answered. Another roar went up from the crowd. It died down after a couple of seconds.

Another reporter asked, "How do you feel about the radio interview with Mr. Muller?"

"Mr. Who?" Said Marcel, earning a few laughs.

"Albrecht Muller, sir, head of the Sovlnd Party," The reporter answered. "In his radio interview he stated that voters shouldn't be worried about technocratic policies in his party while a fascist party is involved in the election."

Marcel paused before answering. "I think that Mr. Muller is probably a great person, just mislead by broken ideologies."

The reporter fired back, "But will you defend yourself from the insult against fascism?"

Marcel answered, "If he believes fascism is despicable, so be it. He is a traitor to the United Earth, and I will not bother to argue with him."

Another cry went up from the crowd. More questions were shouted at Marcel, but he refused to answer, walking off the stage and back to his home.

The first stages of the election campaigns have begun and three parties have already started to state their campaigns. SovInd was the first party in the spotlight as party leader Albrecht Muller spoke on the radio. The key promises that Muller has made are subsidies for developing businesses, lowering the corporate tax and devolution. Muller has expressed his desire for a more technocratic government with democratic elements, clearing an issue that was predicted to come up by critics from the beginning of the party. However, his comments about the right-wing extreme authoritarian or fascist parties, as Muller referred to them as did inflame many voters and the Neo-Fascist Party itself.

Marcel Leroy, the leader of the Neo-Fascist party delivered a fierce speech in Marseille. This was either a sign for the voters of an extremely strong future leader, or one with a bad temper as he raised his tone against the audience. Leroy's comment on the justification of the Invasion of Ethiopia gathered roaring from the crowd. The comment also raised extreme anger in Ethiopia, as crowds gathered on the streets of Addis Ababa calling for officials of the previous government to be barred from running in this election.



"Down with the Fascists! Down with Leroy!" Ethiopian protesters chanted in Addis Ababa, while many celebrated in Western Europe of his rise in the political scene once again.

Marcel notably refused to acknowledge Muller very much, even calling him a traitor. This is expected to inflame many supporters of SovInd.

The Southpaw Party has stated their policies in the upcoming elections mainly noting gun regulation and a more centralised government. The Southpaw party has a potential to draw many liberal-left demographics together, but a speech has not yet been made by their representatives.

The Christian Unity Caucus has also announced their campaign funding, although their campaign promises have not yet been made clear.

At the balcony of the Malacanang Palace, Imelda Manalo-Ayala gathered her supporters by the tens of thousands. Media outfits from all over the world were present. Imelda Manalo-Ayala is arguably the Philippines' most influential woman- wedded to one of the Philippines' wealthiest man and daughter of one of the Philippines' most powerful religious leader, she was a woman to be reckoned with. She had spent her years dwelling in government service and politics and has over the time acted in accordance to the Christian values of mercy and compassion. She has risen to become one of Southeast-Asia's most prominent and vocal figures. With the support of many Christian religions and denominations in the Philippines and in Southeast Asia, the Christian Unity Caucus has risen to become a visible figure, representing the large Christian minority in a region dominated by Islam and Buddhism.

Facing tens of thousands gathered at the courtyards of Malacanang, Imelda began her speech.

"Where has love gone?" she started. "Where has love gone? I ask. The leaders of the world are to be elected soon. Yet at the very same moment we are beseeched by chaos, separatism, terrorism and by God, Fascists."

"Ethiopia is a land where evil had happened. To this very day, millions of people are starving there. Yet what do they, the Fascists do? They forget their humanity! What happened to the commandment of our God that is to love one's neighbor? Where has love gone? I say. It is within our hearts that we are filled with desires, the desire to help one's neighbor!. We need to distribute aid to those who need it- In Africa most especially. The population there is poor, they are filled with hunger and thirst. While we cherish our most abundance of resources, they do not."

"God hates Fascists! God hates the abuse of fellow men. It is time for us to hold those people accountable for the Human Rights abuses they have done! We will condemn those responsible for the events in Ethiopia. We will make sure it will not happen again in any parts of the world."

Nordic Leader Guðni walks up to the podium. “I have announced my bid and the republican party’s bid, along with my friend Donald Trump, for the leadership of the united world. I have led the Nordic Region to the prosperity it has today, built upon the republican values of hard work, family life, and conserving our traditions. Some of us want to get rid of all the traditions our regions have had for centuries, people like Tyler Capco advocate erasing our cultural identities, the ones that make us special, under the fallacy of unity. All the regions on this great Earth are unique, and all should hold on proudly to their culture, religion, and tradition.

The republican party fights for freedom, not a totalitarian society where the government allocates what you get. We advocate a free market, we advocate democracy, and we advocate freedom for all! Our republican values will make sure that every region on this planet gets freedom, liberty, and democracy! I will be going on a tour and joining up with Donald Trump occasionally to campaign for the republican cause, a world free of dictators and totalitarian leaders. A world free of corruption! We will not stand down and let our free market, our freedom, and our liberty fall into the hands of bureaucrats and government officials. The republican party shall give power to the ones who deserve it, power to the people!”

The sun beat down on the Mediterranean slopes. It was a pleasant time to be out in the fields, working hard, tending to crops, and enjoying a nice siesta. It was a scene that could very easily be found in a feel-good, Renaissance-style painting... well, except for the man in a business suit and the boisterous film crew behind him.

Upon his arrival and passing, a number of farmers took off their hats to wave at the newly-recruited politician. In turn, he would hail them with a Roman salute. On occasion, where the terrain suited him, he would cross over the tilled soil in his hundred-dollar-shoes to actually handle the merchandise himself- tomatoes, for example. The dialogue would often go as follows:

"Hail, brother! How is the day treating you?"
"Well, well! It seems like it's going to be a bountiful harvest this year!"
"That is always good news. May I see?"
"Most certainly. You can, um, bring your news crews along with you to get a closer look."
He would wave them over, and they would come tromping through. Luigi Uvellini would grasp the product and look at it intently. "Yes, I see what you mean." He would then turn to the farmer. "I thank you for feeding the world. We all owe you a debt of gratitude, and I hope I can represent you well in the United Earth Congress. Remember that you determine the fate of entire nations. It was you that brought down Ethiopia, and it is you that will hold our union upwards."
The two shake hands, and Luigi moves on to the next plantation.

"Ethiopia is quite beautiful, isn't it?? I've been here a few times with my family. But even as beautiful as it is, people here a still starving. And what has the government done???? NOTHING!! If, no, when The Southpaw Party wins major seats we will improve Ethiopia, not just the rich, but the whole nation!!!!! Moscow, Eastern European Region, Guðni Jóhannesson Campaign Stop #1

Guðni’s campaign’s first stop: Moscow, Eastern Europe, was an important one. He would be campaigning all around the world, but Eastern Europe was one the conservative republicans were the most likely to win, being one of the most conservative regions on United Earth. After meeting with the region leader Vladimir Putin, Guðni gave a speech to a large crowd outside of the Kremlin in Moscow.

“The Republican Party fully supports the Slavic people! Under our leadership, we will make sure that the Slavs of Eastern Europe are treated with the same benefits as everybody else on United Earth, with respect, democracy, and freedom! Our world was built upon the free market, and we vow to continue the free market! The republican party will stand up and fight against the ugly face of totalitarian socialism! Our economy should be run by the people, not the government. The Egalitarians want to make everyone equal, they think even the hardest working people in the world should be paid the same as the worst lowlifes. If we go with their proposed economy, everyone will be equal… equally poor!” The crowd laughed.

“What we should advocate for is an economy controlled by the people, solely by the people, with no government interference. The Slavs have a long and rich history, and the Southpaws want to rid your of that. The southpaws want to eliminate all cultural boundaries, they will force you to forget and let go of your culture. They will force you to leave your proud orthodox heritage under the lie of “equality.” The Republicans will not let that happen. A vote for us means a vote for protecting your culture, your religion, and everything you practice, your values. A vote for us will ensure your safety and prosperity, whilst protecting yourself. Peoples of Earth, we stand at the crossroads of time for our civilisation. We stand here ready to decide the fate of our species.
For 100 years a select few individuals have held the power of the world in their hands but this year that changes. The people of Earth now have the opportunity to decide their own fate. Their own choices for this world.

As of today I say, let that choice be one for the common good, for the common humanity and most importantly, liberty for one and all. Our Party, the Deltaist Party, strives for the freedom and equality of all. Where all people have the right to enjoy their traditions while remaining united in human fraternity. While some parties wish to restrict the freedoms of the people, with some even out right being supporters of the old regime of Earth. We Deltaists are committed to defend the democracy and liberty that we have so desperately fought for and to make sure that Earth never falls into the void of tyranny again. We will make it so that all the regions of our planet have greater autonomy, so they are free to enjoy their traditional language and culture. As such, if the Deltaists win the election each region will have their own elected assembly to decide on laws and to protect their national identity.

The Deltaist party is set to defend the rights of the individual. We will also ensure that no one on our fair world must suffer the degradation of poverty. However, we shall not hamper the great and the brightest, who drive the world forward with their genius and invention. We will make the economy fair so that the wealth of nations goes to the ones who deserve rather than remain in the hands of a few. We will also work to improve business growth by improving our tax system so consumers have more buying power, allowing businesses to thrive. That is the ultimate goal of our Deltaist party. To make the world grow and prosper under a golden age of humanity, one which has never been seen before where everyone can enjoy a fair and just life.

While there are those that wish to harm us, terrorism will never work against me or my party. The party has one clear method for ending Terrorism and that is this. If secessionists, fascists or communists use violence against the people of Earth, they will be met with fire and fury. The Armed forces of the United Earth will have the sole objective of defending the people from violence and as such, a well-suited budget will be given to the armed forces so that they may complete their object swiftly and completely. The need for a strong military force to defend the people, can not be understated. Unlike the old regimes, this new armed forces shall be used to guard liberty and justice, and shall not be the tool for their destruction.

As for this new age, a new age also requires new ideas and technology. New technologies shall be employed buy a robust, and fully funded space agency. We will explore the stars and with it, new ideas and possibly new worlds for the human race to wonder. A united Earth under Deltaist leadership will commit itself to an idea of a United Earth Space Agency one which will receive funding from the united government.

In summary the Deltaist party like its name suggests, is all about change. Changing this world so that we can achieve something great for humanity, a world in which we embrace our differences, differences that make us a stronger whole. We are the only party that represents true liberty, for oneself and their cultural identity. The Deltaists are committed to making this world better and for this world to be at peace which no other party is offering. For this we are the party that world wants and needs. I would also like to announce that as leader of the Deltaist Party I wish to announce that Diego Drake is to be appointed as deputy leader of the Party.

On Climate Change
We feel that Climate Change is the biggest issue facing humanity at this moment in time. Regardless of what we do to help midgate this problem, we already know that climate change will affect our world in one way or the other. As such, we need to start right now in addressing this massive, worldwide problem. With the Greens in power, the United Earth will start investing in renewable sources of energy at a rate yet seen. Around the world, new wind power plants, solar power plants, geothermal power plants, and others will be created. As time marches on, nonrenewable power plants will begin to shut down as the renewable ones replace them. The government will increase subsidies to electric car manufactures and new technologies that will help us combat climate change. In total, we plan on Earth running on 100% renewable energy by 2050 at the very latest.

On Space Exploration
Under a Green Government, government-sponsored work in Space Exploration would receive a massive boost. Space still holds a million mysteries and a practically infinite number of resources. We would sponsor technologies that could help us find those the answers to those mysteries. We haven't landed on the moon in decades, its time to return. We would sponsor technologies that could help us leave Earth's atmosphere much more easily and with much more fuel effectivity than what we used in 1969. We would sponsor technologies that could help create a permanent base on the Moon, possibly even start a permanent civilization on the lunar object. We've never been farther, and it's time to go farther than we, as a species, have even gone before.

On the Economy
The Greens advocate for a mixed economy. Both Capitalism and Socialism have their benefits and their drawbacks. We feel that the best way forward is for both public and private companies to exist and to compete openly. While using the government and its ability to tax, to tax the richest members of our society, so rich that money becomes practically worthless to them, and use that money to give back to the poorest members of our society with programs that will help them get out of poverty.

On Terrorism
Regardless of whatever they are terrorizing innocent people for, the only thing a terrorist deserves is to be held in a solitary confinement cell and tortured for the rest of their natural life.

On Guns
We feel that gun control is ultimately the right way to curb gun violence. However, we also recognize that some people want to own guns for various reasons, ranging from protection to hunting. As such this is what the Greens are proposing.

• A complete ban on automatic guns, bump stocks, or any other modifications that can make a gun act as if it is an automatic gun for everything other than military purposes.
• A complete ban on non-smart guns. A smart gun has one or more systems that allow them to fire only when activated by an authorized user and a non-smart gun does not.
• All firearms must be serial coded and must be reported if stolen.
• When buying a gun, the person trying to buy the gun must go through background checks and a mental examination. If they lack a violent past and are mentally sound then they move on to gun training. They must go through mandatory classes over a few months on gun safety, gun etiquette, and gun respect among other things. At the end of the course, they must be approved for gun ownership by the instructor and swear or affirm an oath to a government official that they will not break the law with the weapon. Only then will they receive their gun.
• The government will also run a gun-buyback program for all citizens who feel they no longer want to own a firearm.
• Anyone violation of these rules, should they become law, will be prosecuted to the greatest extent of the law.

On Regions
The Regions as they currently stand should be abolished and replaced, both as electoral districts and as political entities.
As electoral districts, they create an unjust and undemocratic disparity in the power of a vote. A vote in the Nordic Region matters the most, and a vote in the Indian Subcontinental Region matters the least. A Nordic vote matters 9 times more than an Indian vote. This should not and will not stand with the Greens in Power. If in power the Greens will institute one electoral district worldwide, so every vote matters the same.

As political entities, they group people together who have nothing in common with each other, cultural, linguistically, or religiously.

• In the South American Region, Brazilians outnumber Hispanics 2 to 1, which has led to issues affecting the Hispanic population being tossed aside in favor of addressing Brazilian issues.
• In the Middle East - Cacusues Region Shias and Sunnis, two groups that have rarely if ever gotten along, have been forced to govern together, which has, in turn, lead to violence.
• In the Eastern Mediterranian Region and the Middle East-Cacusues Region Arabs have been forced apart because of a line drawn by long-dead French and British leaders with no regard for the people living there, which again, has led to violence in the region.
• The Japanese, Han Chinese, Cantonese, Mongolian, Tibetian, Korean, and Uyghur Peoples, among others, have been forced to share nation, which has, in turn, lead to sectarian violence.
• The Sahara-Sahel Region and the Sub-Saharan Region are separated by a line halfway down the continent which no longer makes sense when you learn Sub-Saharan Africa geographically starts in the Shara-Sahel Region, or when you learn where the geographic split between Christians and Muslims on the continent is in relation to the two Regions.
• The Eastern European Region might as well be called the Neo-Russian Empire for all the minorities that live in the region under a Russian supermajority.

These are just a few problems showing how our current Regions make little to no sense. With the Greens in power, the Regions would be redrawn with the utmost regard and input from the people living in each of the regions as well as their cultural and linguistic borders. After the new Regions are in place, a Government run by the Greens would then start devolving powers to each of the regions as each region has different needs and wants.

On Parliament
Parliament is far too small and far to unicameral.
500 Seats for 7.6 Billion people means that each seat should represent around 15.2 Million people. We already know this isn't the case given that some people's votes matter more than other people's votes in our current system, but if a single seat truly represented 15.2 Million people, we feel that wouldn't be viable. As such, the Greens would require the number of seats in the Council of Leaders to be tied to the cube root rule.

What is the cube root rule? It was a phenom observed in national parliaments, the number of seats in the proportional house tended to be near or equal the cube root of the population. As our population at the last worldwide census was around 7.6 Billion that would mean a Council of Leaders with 1966 seats. With every vote being equal, one seat would represent approximately 3.8 Million people.

The Greens also feel that an upper house should be put in place as a check on the Council of Leaders powers. Under our plan, each region would send a number of delegates to this upper house. After the Council of Leaders would approve a bill, it would go to this upper house where the members would have to approve of the bill. If they don't then they have the power to amend the bill, after amending the said bill, it would then have to be voted on and approved by the Council of Leaders before it could become law.

On the the Previous Government
We feel that the former Government that has ruled over the United Earth for 100 years as committed several war crimes and atrocities over its time in power, especially during the invasion of Ethiopia and the invasion of Japanese Korea. As such, the Greens looks forward to introducing a bill into Parliament banning anyone who was a member of this government from sitting in Parliament and trying them for their war crimes and atrocities.
