I've now expanded the message in the World Factbook Entry:

Not just "out there", really "out there!"
This was created as a region for nations that don't feel at home elsewhere, maybe because they're too "strange" in some way to fit in well in other regions that they've tried, but is open anybody else who thinks that it might be interesting as well.
The founder is willing to listen to suggestions about future development.

Thirty-seven nations answered the question "Why?".
Twenty-five of them favoured the answer "Why not?", with six each for "Because" and "Popcorn".

Outre Space’s poll “What is the real ‘Final Frontier’?” has now concluded.
A total of 45 people voted, 42 of them from outside the region: 13 people voted for Outer Space, 12 for Death, 9 for Time, 4 for Advanced Mathematics, 3 for Imagination, 2 for “the depths of the Oceans”, and 2 for “Something Else” (with one of that last pair advertising their own region in the role, and the other suggesting [in a TG] that we haven’t yet found whatever the ‘Final Frontier’ really is…)

A new poll has just been posted in the region, and is also open to voting by everybody: Its title is “Australia and New Zealand: Old World, or New?”, and the url is https://www.nationstates.net/page=poll/p=144342: Why not give us your opinion?

Outre Space’s poll "Logic is like Fire, a good servant but a bad master": True or False?
has now concluded.
A total of 27 people voted, 25 of them from outside the region: 8 people voted for True; 13 forTrue for Logic, but False for Fire; 10 for False for Logic, but True for Fire; and 6 for False.

A new poll will be posted in the region later this week, barring accidents, and voting in that will also be open to everybody... so why not keep an eye on us ready for it?

You mean the post about the region always being able to use new blood?

I publicise the region by opening embassies, advertising our Polls in the regions with which we have embassies, and maintaining this thread. That's a start...
... and the nation that actually posted about new blood hasn't complained that I'm not doing enough.
