Hey, Astoria ; you down for a quick skirmish between your SF team and a Pinnacle patrol? Nothing major, just a bit of an introduction so to speak between our two forces. The patrol would be three FAV's doing a token showing of the flag; with around fifteen troopers in a half raised sense of security.

A short, but intense firefight ensues and both sides come away with knowledge of a new kind of threat in the area. Of course, my guys would come out slightly worse for the wear given their lower calibre (in comparison).

How do you want to participate? Regallian will back the Atlantians with nuclear weaponry and a large infantry

Who is joining the conflict? The "Democratic States" of Regallian

Why are they getting involved? Regalliae transport vessels were attacked by Honduragua when they had to dock by the shores during a massive storm out at sea, for the foreign government believed that the unarmed ships were actually being used for spying. The five vessels, each holding two hundred soldiers, were sunk with all hands killed. In response, Regallian wishes to ruin the Republic of Honuragua.

What does their involvement look like? Regallian will gift two small nuclear weapons to the Atlantians to use as they see fit, and then give 7500 infantry, led by an experienced general who will answer to the Antlantians.

That sounds like a good idea: I've been at a bit of a mental block trying to get something written for this RP. I'll get something up setting the scene of my men trying to approach a Cartel compound where some minor commander is located, and they can run into your column and get into a skirmish. How does that sound?

That sounds like a good idea: I've been at a bit of a mental block trying to get something written for this RP. Sending infantry is fine, but I don't foresee this escalating to the level of nuclear weapons use.

I want to send special forces and covert paramilitary agents to train Honduraguan forces and conduct guerilla operations against invading Atlantian forces. They would also be covertly attempting to instigate a communist/anarchist revolution in Honduragua.

Who is joining the conflict? 
Right now, 12 Agents from the People's Security Agency (CIA Equivalent) and a Platoon of Light Reconnisance Assault Commandos (LRAC's).

Why are they getting involved?
To stop the spread of authoritarian rule and maintain the right to self determination for all.

What does their involvement look like? 
Training Hondruaguan forces and insurgents in irregular warfare and advanced small unit tactics, as well as providing small amounts of arms, particularly Anti-Tank weapons and MANPADS (If thats alright).

Providing weapons and advisors is okay, but at this point in the RP the Atlantian Navy has closed off the only major port. If you want to RP as though the weapons were shipped in prior to that, that's okay - just know that getting anything more into the country is pretty impossible now.

Hey guys. My responses will be a bit delayed as I'm going back to school and have a ton of finals for my summer courses. So here's a summary of what my WIP post will contain so that you may proceed if needed:
-A team of pathfinders and snipers lead by SL Bower and Weaver are dispatched to hunt down the Astorian MARC team.
-The port is set for scorched earth underneath the directions of Baatz.
-AA defenses are set up around the Pinnacle encampment, the beach defenses, and the city center with a light scattering on the outskirts.
-Bruno will be charged with the creation of a series of FOB's between Tijata and Chuparosa.

I'm sorry for the delay in the actual post guys.

Correct. And Atlantian troops and engineers are expanding the existing dock and airport facilities and building additional military airfields in preparation for the invasion of the mainland, so you can post as if your forces have arrived on Saint Marcus Island (the former Isla San Marcos) and are also getting ready to aid in the upcoming landings.

For those still involved, I just want to confirm that I have not abandoned this RP - I'm mostly working through writer's block and holding off posting so that Astoria and The United Federation of Terrans can wrap up this current bit of their ongoing story, which I am loving by the way, before I interject with the beginnings of the invasion.

The United Federation of Terrans, I know you'd previously mentioned wanting your beach defense to collapse when a bomb strikes your forward CP and kills the commander of the beach defenses. How did you want to go about RPing that? If you want to handle the whole thing, feel free to write up the Atlantian planes attacking however you like. Otherwise I can edit a mention of the strike mission into my latest post for you to work off of.
