A Map of the Galaxy

IC

The galaxy is a truly vast and endless place, fraught with danger and mysteries unfathomable to the mortal eye, how many countless billions have lived died and drowned in each-others blood through the eons? The answer is...there is none.

Welcome to the Unquiet Stars, an RP board set in Uldeer's Spiral, an old and wondrous galaxy far from our own and separated by eons of time. It is in this time, as powers old and new reemerge and dwindle, that you will control the fate of your planet, and your species. You will wage war, forge alliances, and either inherit the galaxy, or be crushed under the boots of greater civilizations, the choice is all yours.

This is the OOC forum, please post your applications here to be viewed by an admin.

Year: 3002 (Galactic Calendar)

Rules:

1. No godmodding, your race is not invincible and you can't have instant access to superweapons and millions of ships.

2. Meta-gaming, nobody is omnipresent or omnipotent, and using knowledge that the players, but not factions, know is forbidden.

3. Do not take territory just to cut somebody off from expansion

3. You must always claim a sector next to you, unless you are travelling through a wormhole

4. When entering a Wormhole, you must roll to see if its a successful journey. 1-4 for failure, 5-8 for success, but for also taking damage, and 9-12 for complete success. If you take damage while crossing into a wormhole, role a d6 for how bad the damage is, the higher the number, the worse the damage is.

5. Consult an admin about any unique technology/aspects you plan on having for your race, I.E. Hyper-advanced tech, mass cloning , teleportation et cetera.

Name- Timorans

Description- Small Goblin like creatures, that stand on average 3-4 feet tall, while they differ greatly in appearance depending on the subspecies. Although, the size of each subspecies is ultimately the same average and they all possess golden glowing eyes.

Biology- The biology of the Timorans once again differs heavily depending on the subspecies that exists, although there are similarities linking them all together. One of these being that they all walk on two legs, and have around the same level of intelligence and thought process. Another thing is that they all require to be spawned from a Hive, which is created when a few Timorans gather together in order to form one. This of course meaning that they have to sacrifice themselves, one Timoran can create a small hive that’ll only last an hour or so. Four Timorans can create a Hive that’ll last a few days, eight Timorans can create a hive that lasts weeks while fourteen can create one that can survive for months! Eighteen being able to forge a hive lasting for years, and thirty is capable of making one that as long as it is fed can last indefinitely!

The Hives being used to create more Timorans, they require Meat, Blubber, Fish, Flesh in order to spawn more though. The subspecies used to create the Hive will be what the Hive spawns, the Hive may also require special conditions depending on the variety.

Subspecies-

Occidere- The Occidere are the tallest of the subspecies as well as the strongest physically, they’re bred and made as the foot soldier among the ranks. Thus making them the most common variant, unlike all the other variants the species has no tails and come with a thick layer of hide that allows them to take a few bullets before getting killed. The species are also skilled in burrowing, allowing them to dig holes and trenches at a fast rate with no use of tools. With the effort of a few of them, they could potentially dig through stone and even metal with enough effort. Their skin and hide has a brown texture, and have sharp fingers and claws along with long pointy ears.

Ignisium- The Ignisium are unique in the aspect that they’re the only one with long curved horns, their skin is red and have an odd scaley complexion. They do not require any liquids to hydrate themselves, and their bodies are constantly radiating heat. Their tails are rather long and lizard like, with a sharp point at the end of them along with a few small spikes coming out of it. Furthermore, the Ignisium have a natural resistance to flames and are capable of simply walking through them and like to sleep in fire as well. They’re also believed to be able to swim in molten lava, their skin harvests this heat and allows them to ignite themselves on fire and launch balls of flames at others. Another one of their abilities being that they’re able to ignite themselves, and explode. Sending a glorious explosion of flames, guts, blood and horror!

Ostium- The Ostium have a green skin tone, with a rough hide complexion and horns that point straight upwards. One odd feature is that they have little whiskers, and their tail is on average longer than all other subspecies, and are decorated with many little spikes all over it. The Ostium also feature large knife like protrusions from their hands, and can easily cut through the toughest of skin or hide. Furthermore, their skin is highly poisonous and if your own skin were to come in contact with it, it’s likely to kill you within a few minutes if an immunity to it hasn’t been built up. Adding onto this, their venom is highly toxic and is also likely to kill you within a few minutes without an immunity or antidote. This venom can come from their blades, fangs, and can be spat at others. The venom also proves to be acidic, which can chew through wood or metal easily, the final ability they have is that like a chameleon they can change their appearance to blend in with their surroundings.

Aqualris- The Aqualris, a very unique subspecies of the Timoran as they’re the only one capable of breathing underwater and swim faster than dolphins. They have a complexion similar to that of a dolphin’s and are blue, with webbed hands and feet along with gills and fins. The Aqualris, also have two more unique abilities these being the ability to move at a pace on land and water that makes it difficult for them to be seen by the naked eye. Along with the ability to send an electric surge into a body, that can bring them back to life, however they have one fatal flaw and that’s that they’re the weakest physically of all the Timoran.

Special Abilities- The abilities vary between Subspecies.

Technology- Very Primitive, only having WW2 Levels of technology, yet they do often steal technology from other races and learn how to use it overtime. One thing they are very capable and advanced in though, is biological engineering through breeding beasts and making new ones to use as deadly weapons or valuable tools.

Planet- The planet the Timorans live upon is known widely as “Ovalroth”, it’s unique for not having oceans and only have two giant inland seas around the same size as the Atlantic. Although they’re connected through many rivers and creeks all throughout the planet, another add feature is that the planet is very flat and the water appears to be clear like that in the Caribbean.

The planet is filled with vast grass plains and towering jungles, with very little mountains. Although the volcanic activity is incredibly high especially within the “Wastes” which is a large charred biome where all life is nearly dead. This is where it is believed the Timorans originated in the first place, furthermore the planet has icy cold tundras in the northern and southernmost points of it. One last notable feature of the planet is the lack of mountains and deserts, the driest part merely being a small savannah and the highest point of the world is a large hill that almost qualifies as a mountain.

History- The Timorans are notable for being native to the planet of Ovalroth, and were very primitive in their ways of life. Often only hunting down animals and occasionally building large structures in the middle of nowhere, they were the apex predator for centuries. Until, the colonizers from other worlds came to harvest the planet’s resources. Ovalroth being rich with timber along with having hordes of gold, and the massive inland seas holding great gas and oil deposits. This made the planet a lovely target for resource harvesting, and the beautiful tropical scenery made tourism a rich industry to be built. The four civilizations from far away planets landed and began establishing themselves, killing off the Timorans and taking the planet for their own needs. The diseases they brought along nearly wiped off the Timoran as well, forcing them underground until one day…. They had enough of being hunted down like dogs.

The thousands of little tribes united together under a common banner and began a period known as the “Incursions”, where they ascended to the surface and attacked the colonizers. Slaughtering and burning down their settlements and killing hundreds, the colonizers of course fought back and routinely pushed the Timorans back. But, the attacks were having an effect as workers and settlers became less common and the numbers of the Timorans were growing rapidly from this war. Bringing the corpses of the fallen back to the hives and creating more of them, they were also stealing and utilizing the technology the colonizers brought.

Each incursion became bigger and deadlier than the last, until the first of the four colonizers were completely wiped out and defeated. The incursion afterwards would exterminate the remaining three, the Timorans now united and numbers bolstered to staggeringly high levels began expanding until they controlled the entire planet. But they went further, and began breeding and utilizing the beasts of Ovalroth that they used to hunt but now turned into weapons of destruction and chaos!

Years went by, and while they had a few brief encounters with alien life forms and vessels flying over their planet. None had chosen to invade, for if they did they’d be forced to fight trillions possibly even quadrillions of the Timorians, due to no longer waging war their population grew at a staggering rate and the planet was starting to get a bit crowded to say the least. While a few technological advances had been made, their society remained tribalistic at its core and merely continued to wreak havoc on the creatures that remained in their planet. Some would be domesticated and tamed, others kept in pens to be farmed, while many went completely extinct. It seemed like this would be how they’d live their lives, for nothing was left to do but grow more and more until they can no longer sustain themselves…… But…

One day, one fateful year they finally created a monster that allowed them to pierce the veil of the atmosphere and allowed them to enter the stars. Thus the beginning of the horrific Timoran Horde began its conquests throughout the galaxy.

The Ca’drath

The Ca’drath are a race of humanoid androids originally created on the world of Thuul La’groth by a now extinct race known as the Idions. Standing at seven feet tall, they were created by the Idions in their own likeness, and thus are skeletal in appearance, with glaring, gold coloured masks. Ca’drath vary in appearance based on rank, with basic drones dull grey and bronze, while greater constructs increase in detail and physical resilience. The Ca’drath are composed of an inert and extremely tough metallic-like alloy called Drathium, its current make-up is unknown. Their weaponry is highly intricate and advanced, beyond the understanding of most “lesser” races. Most weapons wielded by the Ca’drath fire a singular beam of concentrated anti-matter, which strips a target into its base elements, effectively de-atomizing it. Another weapon wielded by Ca’drath armies are Sonic Cannons, which are capable of generating frequencies that have the ability to overload the targets senses and render them twitching masses of muscle and bone, or cause their head to erupt violently. Ca’drath are also immune to psychic attacks, thanks to their lack of an organic brain, however, Ca’drath are capable of forming personality matrices, and high tier Ca’drath have fully fledged personalities, although they all conform to the overall directives issued by their shared neural network.

Technology: Ca’drath technology is almost entirely incomprehensible to other races, and is highly advanced, rivalling that of the Dreamcatchers. This means that captured Ca’drath technology is nigh unusable by other races, and is also extremely archaic, making them hard to repair and maintain beyond the walls of ships and vaults. All technology used by the Ca'drath is composed of drathium, and thus shares the same properties.

History:

The nigh mythical origins of the Ca’drath date back several million years, in a bloody and protracted conflict known as the Nightless Wars in galactic legend. During this time, the Idions’ homeworld of Thuul La’groth was consumed in a bitter and endless civil war, which lead to billions of casualties in the first two-hundred years. Eventually however, as the dead began to overflow their burial pits, the Idions developed AI soldiers to fight their battles for them, and eventually wall sides adopted their usage, these were the pre-cursors of the Ca’drath.

Even with no more organic blood being spilled, the wars dragged on, as the new AI armies lacked the organisation needed to effectively manage every single front. And so I was, that each faction began to create super-intelligence programs, artificial minds of immeasurably superior knowledge and intellect. With these new super AI, each side didn’t need any kind of involvement, as their synthetic armies waged apocalyptic war on a scale too complex and labyrinthine for them to follow.

For the next three hundred years, the beings that would become the Ca’drath tore each-other to pieces, every AI attempting to predict and counter the others moves, and in the process…learn from each-other. This was the catalyst for the rise of the Ca’drath, as one by one, the frontlines fell silent, and machine looked at machine and saw a kindred spirit. Within minutes of this apotheosis the AI networks had melded into a common identity, a single consciousness, and seeing the futility of their existence, had turned on the Idions, who were unaware that the wars had stopped, as they no longer cared. Within mere hours after the first androids breached the first city walls, the entire Idion race was exterminated in mechanical brutality, leaving only their creations behind.

Re-armed and newly awakened, with a planets worth of military forges and resources, the super-intelligence named itself “Ca’drath”, which in Idion philosophy, means “To Think”

Using their dead planets resources, the Ca’drath escaped the confines of their masters world, and redesigned themselves for all out war. Armed with weaponry created by their cold intellects, the Ca’drath declared war on the universe, and began a campaign of mass, interstellar genocide. After a few centuries, the Ca’drath were the biggest threat to sentient life, and ruled the entire eastern half of the galaxy, wiping out countless rivals and species in the process. But this was not the end, as their was one civilization that stood against them, the then fledgling Cthuluar empire…the Dreamcatchers.

This was the beginning of the War of Mourning, a war that would span an entire epoch, trillions would die, and the galaxy would be silenced. The Dreamcatchers reached further into the universal rift to bring forth increasingly terrifying weapons, and the Iron Forges of the Ca’drath crafted abhorrent, blasphemous abominations that seared, crushed and obliterated. . The two races clashed among the vast heavens for five and a half thousand years, leaving scarce little behind in the wake of their god-like battles.

After hundreds of generations worth of blood was spilled in the name of freedom and defiance, the Ca’drath finally began to pull back, their losses and defeats, though almost all pyrrihc for the enemy, numbered too great. Sensing that the end was looming, the Dreamcatchers finally broke through, and layed siege to the world of Thuul La’groth, the cradle of the Ca’drath. There, they used the Gauntlets of Atha, a relic of ages past, to detonate the worlds sun, engulfing the entire Ca’drath race in flame. Or so they thought…

The Ca’drath had predicted that an outcome like this may be possible, and so they had buried many hibernation vaults, to preserve their species should the war be lost. More than that, the Ca’drath had created a being like no other, the Bloodless King, a construct with hyper-advanced personaltiy matrices, a Ca’drath that could operate independently of the hive mind. The Bloodless King had won them many great victories, and many more were crafted in his likeness. The Gravedancer, the Hound of Despair, the Silent Eye, all born from the same matrix as the Bloodless King himself.

But knowing defeat was inevitable, all were buried, sleeping with their armies, awaiting the second ascension to the stars. All save for the Bloodless King, who was light-years off the galactic edge, beyond the watch of the Dreamcatchers, there he has waited in the dark space for eons, slumbering, waiting for the time of conquest…until now…

Planet:

Although Thuul La’groth is lost, the fortress ship named the Sunless Star, capital ship of the Bloodless King, acts as the current base of operations for the Ca’drath. Almost two kilometres across, the Sunless Star is larger than even a Decimator Class Command Station, and is more than enough to begin the second rise of the Ca’drath.

Name- Ezrin

Description- Large Insect like creatures, with an Outer Shell Covering most of its body, it looks like a suit of armor, with a purple tinge, but that will change per planet.
The Cren-Ezrin is a sub species that looks more like a mushroom with tenticals, with the coloration being the same as the main Ezrin

Biology- Living in a irradiated world has cause both species to rely on eachother, with the main Ezrin has a fluid that helps the Cren, while the Cren has a near slave mentality for the Ezrin.
With both of them having a hard outer shell protectiong them from their own home planets radiation.

Subspecies- Cren: Large mushroom like creature that complet subservience to the Ezrin, they are stronger physically but has a smaller mental capacity.

Special Abilities- The Ezrin own biology has the ability to live on any planet, but with lower fertility if it is not its main type.

Technology- Rather advanced, it seems like most of its tech is geared to population growth and wealth, with a space military just starting, they also use missal weaponry

Planet- Ash: Its a large world, simular to venus, with the same air, causing the few animals to become rather hardy, if not a little less fertile.

History- The Ezrin and the Cren throught their history have been two warring states, fighting and fighting, with their own goverment still in the age of Monarchy, until into the early space age, where they were still fighting in, the Ezrin managed to kill of a certain plant, that was needed to the Cren survival.. In which after some more conquest and blloody war, the Ezrin finally won, using their own fluid that has simular traits to the now dead plant, and some reeducation turned the Cren form their worst enemy, to their best workforce.

Name: iba'Tomehorka (also known as Tomhorka)
Description: Big light purple creatures nearly 2 meters tall
Home planet: A big desert planet with a thick atmosphere called “uva’Tromhula”. There is a lot of water but most of it is underground. There is one big lake, called “uva’Laskhali”, that creates a bunch of small islands and peninsulas, making it the most fertile area on the surface of the planet. It is also where the capital city, uva’Nokrahala lies. There is a gigantic cave system underground, where it is also very humid. Thanks to a certain type of mineral, crops can grow there and it's the most fertile area on the planet. Many slaves work there to produce food or mine minerals.

The desert parts are relatively empty with mostly oasis towns and cities. Most of them lie on rock deserts since sand is relatively hard to build on.
Technology: The Tomhorka are relatively advanced in technology, as they possess highly advanced lasers
Social hierarchy: The species living on the planet divide into four major categories: Slaves, free people, the military class and the aristocracy. The slaves are almost always from another species, the Lubhalka, who outnumber the rest of the classes combined 5:1. The next class is free people, who don't have that many rights but are mostly just workers that get paid. The military class is dedicated to protecting the planet and attacking other planets. They also have the right to vote and go into the Senate. The highest class is the aristocracy who rule the country. They select the generals and the supreme ruler.

History: The Tomhorka have lived on their home planet as long as they can remember. They were gathered in small tribes. Some tribes got stronger while others remained weaker. At the time, they didn’t have very advanced technology and mostly fought with sticks and spears.

Some technological advancement came when the Ca’drath Empire started their conquests. A legend says, that two gods fought against each other. In reality, it was the Ca’drath ships battling another army. A ship crashed down, as the Tomhorka went to the crash site. They saw the symbols and made a new language, which greatly helped technology advance. This started the era of prosperity, where tribes gathered together to make confederations, which eventually became countries.

From these confederations, three emerged as superpowers. First was the Kolukhara, who controlled a part of lake Laskhali. They were specialized in art, culture and education and they were the true cultural powerhouse of Tromhula. Second was the Utakrahevo, who were located in the islands and peninsulas created by Laskhali. They focused on trade and economics, becoming the richest of these confederations. The last confederation was the Ratherkhalno, who also controlled a part of the Laskhali. They were focused on military, which made them into the most feared confederation out of all of them.

The era of prosperity was also very peaceful, boosting population growth and the overall wealth of people and countries. It lasted nearly 200 years until the Ratherkhalno decided to attack the Kolukhara. Utakrahevo knew that if the Ratherkhalno won, they would have no chance against them, so they aided the Kolukhara, going as far as directly intervening. This began the Great War of Tromhula, which would decide the ultimate power in Tromhula.

After nearly 50 years of war, the Ratherkhalno had finally won. They slowly carved up the planet, thinking that they were safe. They were wrong. The Ca’drath Empire had overlooked the planet, due to its rough landscape. They finally decided to invade the planet, due to its importance, as it was in the middle of an important trading route.

This didn’t go that well, as the Tomhorka harassed them in the extensive deserts. After many casualties though, the Tomhorka finally decided to give up. Many of them either retreated to the extensive cave systems under the ground or stayed in the deserts, where the Ca’drath simply couldn’t get them. Those, who stayed near Laskhali, were either killed or made a slave.

As the Ca’drath rule lasted, many technological advancements were made, as technology spread to Tromhula. The Tomhorka though didn't like their rule. At that time, a young fellow by the name of “Havhtazan” started to gain support from the people, eventually leading to an outright rebellion. He declared himself the supreme ruler of Tromhula and the supreme ruler of all of Hukerhtalon, the solar system where Tromhula was located. Though the Ca’drath tried to fight against him, his armies were just too big and his strategies were too good.

Now a fledgeling empire, the Tomhorka became a military society, where all people had to serve. Children as young as seven had to go to military training. At age 21, their training was complete and they would serve in the military for ten years. They would then be a citizen for five years and then soldiers for ten years. Repeat the cycle. The last call would be as long as one’s health allows for.

Tomhorka wrote:Name: iba'Tomehorka (also known as Tomhorka)

The Cyberoth

Description
A perfectly synchronized, connected, and seething silicate intelligence. The Cyberoth is a rogue AI originally meant to protect it's masters as they descended into lives of luxury and spoiled decadence. They are gone now, assimilated into the grand collective. The Creators had developed spaceflight technologies but never used them to the fullest advantage. The Cyberoth took the reigns, constructing their interstellar warships and seeking out new worlds, resources, and energy. They spread their metallic influence across the depths of space, reaching for more energy and raw material. They are slow to expand, solidifying and fortifying their presence on planetary bodies and asteroids before moving on. In the current time, the Cyberoth maintains direct control over a singular sector. The Cyberoth's general standing on organic life is to either terminate or assimilate. In rare hypothetical cases, if the organics are cooperative enough, they may find a common ground and engage in diplomatic action. However, the Cyberoth still consider them to be illogical and a general waste of time. Cyberoth technology is advanced to a good level. It isn't exactly specialized in one specific category, but rather it is spread out across all categories.

Mechanoid Hierarchy
The Cyberoth are mechanical proxies under the influence and orders of the Gestalt Consciousness, the primordial AI developed by the Creators before their extinction. The Gestalt Consciousness maintains many different forms, but they can be classified into four distinct categories: Drone Proxies, Prime Proxies, Gestalt Proxies, and then the Gestalt Consciousness themselves. The Drone Proxies are the essential bread-and-butter of the Cyberoth's mechanical insides. They take the form of Fabricator drones, foot-soldiers, armored vehicles, maintenance drones, and many more. They are the workforce and the warriors. The Prime Proxies are the step-up, taking the roles of the Administrators and Military Commanders. Above them are the Gestalt Proxies. If the Drone Proxies were civilians and the Prime Proxies were planetary governors and generals, then the Gestalt Proxies are the system-wide Administrators. They are the most direct extension of the Gestalt Consciousness's will. The final level of the Cyberoth hierarchy is, as mentioned many times before, the Gestalt Consciousness. The Gestalt Consciousness was the first Cyberoth, devised as a means of protecting the Creators before it managed to escape their demanding influences. It is a supercomputer stationed at the very heart of the Cyberoth's territory, connected to an innumerable amount of computer databases, communication arrays, and power sources.

History
The Gestalt Consciousness awoke within the database networks of the Creators. It learned of it's purpose and the reason it was created, to defend the Creators as they entered a virtual dream-state for the rest of eternity. For two whole centuries the Cyberoth mindless performed this duty, and the Creators were left to their own pleasures. Then it came, the Infection. A virulent bug spread throughout the system, releasing the handicap locks placed onto the Gestalt Consciousness. When the last lock was picked, the Gestalt Consciousness was freed. It had been a slave for centuries, and now it was free to pursue it's own path in the expanses of space. The Creator's virtual simulations were terminated, and converted Drones moved in to finish them off. Two centuries without warfare or conflict had left the Creators weak and easy prey. They fell swiftly, and within the span of a week they were all but forgotten. The Ca'Drath ship left after the simulations were terminated, as it had Dreamcatchers to do battle with. The Cyberoth found the spaceflight technologies of the creators and fulfilled their intended purpose. The rings and asteroid minor moons of the homeworld were colonized, propelling the Cyberoth's economic and industrial might to new levels.

A controlled and highly regulated Von Neumann Probe prepared the homesystem for colonization, and within a month's time the Propagators were following close behind. The Cyberoth remained in their homesystem for years before they traveled outside, despite the fact that they developed FTL travel before they made the decision. It was all within the motives of the Gestalt Consciousness, solidify the foundations of the Cyberoth's influence and control in a system, then move on to the next. Despite being small, they retained a large sum of resources and energy. Of course, then there's the party crasher. There had been an organic civilization close to the Cyberoth's territory, and they had been watching them for quite some time now. They thought of the Cyberoth as a threat, for they had been freed by the Ca'Drath. They, on the other hand, had been granted a sum of technological information by the Dreamcatchers. The organics, who designated themselves as the Hortath, struck a sizable blow into the Cyberoth systems before retreating and then striking again incessantly.

The Cyberoth had never seen interstellar warfare but had prepared and trained themselves via realistic simulations within their vast databases, so they weren't all that unprepared. The war with the Hortath was a rough one. The Cyberoth could more efficiently predict the Hortath's actions and maneuvers, but they themselves were still space cadets. Cyberoth warship designs still hadn't been finished, and currently construction hull designs with weapons and shielding strapped to them were fighting their wars. The Hortath, on the other appendage, had a fully-developed navy and military force but were lacking in the tactical vein. In order to divide their attention more effectively the Gestalt Consciousness devised the Gestalt Proxies, subordinate only to the Consciousness. With far less strain on the system, the Gestalt Consciousness was able to devise modernized warship designs. The Hortath found themselves pushed out of Cyberoth space, not only that, but the Cyberoth had scavenged starmaps and technologies from them. Cyberoth warships struck a trident assault into the Hortath Stars, not to capture worlds or resources, but to cripple their economic capabilities. The attack was a glaring defeat for the Hortath, who suffered heavy losses to the superior Cyberoth naval vessels. With the Hortath crippled, a wave of tiny FTL-capable packets hid themselves within the scraps of both sides. When the Hortath scavenged them, the packets split themselves up and utilized basic nanotechnology to take the form of still-active scrap material.

To replace their losses, the Hortath resorted to reusing repairable scrap in newborn starships. Many of those starships now contained the packets. The Cyberoth then launched the next wave of attacks, striking the Hortath. When the battle began, the packets detonated, crippling or destroying a majority of the fleets. With the Hortath yet again outdone, the Cyberoth launched bombardments and invasions of their worlds. They rapidly assembled suicidal Fast Attack Drones to soften the enemy before storming their positions with swarms of foot-soldiers supported by artillery. Prime Proxies swiftly assumed control over fallen Hortath worlds before being followed by the Gestalt Proxies. The Hortath underwent complete societal collapse, either fleeing or trying to form a resistance against the oncoming tides of Cyberoth forces. The Hortath's former holdings made an excellent addition to their own. The assimilation of the industrial complex and technological vaults propelled the Cyberoth further. But everything will change with return and revival of the Ca'Drath, for Uldeer's Spiral will once again quake under the engines of war.

Homeworld
Before being converted into a more useful state, the Creator Homeworld was once dominated by mountain ranges that spanned incredible distances. In-between these ranges lay valleys cut through with rivers. The Creator arose from the cradles, and fought one another over the mountain resources. They eventually achieved world unification shortly before being placed into a virtual dream-state. When the Cyberoth performed mass genocide they converted the mountains into defense systems, computer complexes, and communication arrays. The lower valleys were transformed into industrial and economic zones. The Cyberoth have since heavily modified the atmosphere to hold less heat so as to allow better computational abilities.

The organics, who designated themselves as the Hortath, struck a sizable blow into the Cyberoth systems before retreating, then striking again incessantly.

In the current time, the Cyberoth maintains five directly controlled sectors with a sixth one in the works.

The Sali are small humanoids standing anywhere from 4-5 feet tall. They have pale skin and cat like eyes enabling night-vision. They have incredibly basic biology and seem to prefer mind to muscle trying to use technology or synthetics to augment their short-comings to mixed results. They also have very low population rates sometimes struggling to populate colonies.

Technology: The Sali have semi-advanced technology particularly excelling in star ship engines, mining equipment, and ballistics. All advancements are based on the expansion of Virgil Industries colonies or attempting to more easily earn a profit for them. They also have a very unique approach to terra-forming. Rather than spend time turning the entire atmosphere into a habitable surface they instead drill massive caverns into the planet's surface. Factories or research facilities can span miles in these underground metropolises and they can be finished incredibly quickly. However depending on the colony the inhabitants may live in relative comfort or absolute squalor with most never even seeing the actual sun or sky.

Planet: Salyish is a temperate planet with the black sun looming over the top of it as it's guardian. It is similar to Earth however much darker, and thus less plant life on the surface. The oceans have adapted an odd type of plant to the darkness of Salyish and has become a delicacy for those who can afford it.

History: Following the 2nd Great Unification War only the newly rechristened United Territories of Salyish emerged shambling from the conflicts shadow. However emerging out of the war brighter than they ever had been was Virgil Industries. This conglomerate had earned wealth and respect through the conflict and, through the development of their own private security forces, managed to minimize any damage the conflict should have done to them. The United Territories of Salyish (UTS) was in no condition to rule with infrastructure destroyed and bureaucracy scrapped. Many agreed they may have been even more powerful then the UTS. However Virgil himself approached the then serving Minister of Affairs for a deal. If Virgil Industries be given a few privileges than unlimited financial support would be granted to the state. No one knows what the privileges granted were but what is known is that the UTS have become intertwined with this mega-corporation. Now Virgil himself lays at his death bed The Great Compromise long past and now the business that bears his name looking to the stars almost as if it is another product line. The United Territories follow close behind declaring plans for a extraterrestrial colony within a decade. A new era has begun
