Is this about that one Battlefield V trailer that had a woman in it and every gamer lost their mind over it?

Nah I am not some twat that would get angry over a trailer. Spitting on the graves of the men who executed a flawless sabotage mission by replacing them with women and passing it as a real story. That gets my titties in twist though.

So you're upset because a work of fiction is different to reality?

So because they used a work of fiction to tell a fictional story. Because I'm pretty sure there's no "the stories you are about to hear are true" disclaimer anywhere in the game.

The fictional story was a real life event done by real soldiers, they swapped them out for a 15 year old girl to score points instead of telling a story about a female soldier that could have been based on one of the many female soldiers in ww2, such as Rosa Shanina, Ludmilia Pavlichenko, Aleksandra Samusenko and many others.
Its one of the few things about BFV and "forced diversity" i think is an actual credible argument amidst all the bollocks about blacks and women being in ma vidya gaims.
And no DICE didnt use that tagline, but they did use "Forget what you learned in History Class" "WW2 as you've never seen it before" and focusing on "Telling the Untold stories of the war"
The whole "BUT MUH HISTORICAL ACCURACY" Shite about games is overblown and a load of nonsens the majority of the time because the devs can make whatever they fucking want for their games, and if you dont like that, be a normal person and dont fucking play it then. But occasionally there is a valid thing to point out about it.

That's true, it is valid to point out historical inaccuracies. Losing one's mind over them, on the other hand, just makes you look silly.

Also a lot of the time people who complain about historical accuracy only complain about the gender and colour of soldiers involved, but wont talk about sherman calliopes being in Tunisia fighting tiger tanks in fucking early 1941, or tiger tanks in Norway in 1940 or all these guns that were not even made yet showing up by the bucketload.
For example, in battlefield 1, one class had a bolt action rifle, despite them being the main guns of the war, instead you had two machine guns and a semi auto rifle, but that wasnt an issue, the black soldiers were.
The only black soldier that was an issue in battlefield 1 was the german sniper, simply because despite the germans having black colonial soldiers, were not able to send them to europe because the entente dominated the seas. So them appearing in france in 1917/18 makes no sense. The black British and French soldiers? Makes sense, but some knuckledraggers tried to argue black men didnt fight in ww1, and those people need history books tossed at them.

Probably because nobody normal cares about what SJWs rant of the day is except if they start attacking the stuff they like. And as an avid gamer I would know.
