Interesting results from what it looks.

Appears the Liberal National coalition will be elected for the third time in a row and making Gladys Berejiklian the first woman in New South Wales history to be elected Premier. It's not sure weather it will be a majority or minority govt. yet, but they only need to win one more seat to hold the majority.

Labor and the Greens underperformed expectations and obviously do not have the votes to form a government, despite posting decent swings in a lot of urban Liberal electorates.

Finally, cheers to the Shooters, Fishers, and Farmers party. I'm not sure if it was backlash against the National party's incompetence for solving regional New South Wales's issues, especially the water crisis or backlash against Jacinda Arden's New Zealand and thus a surge in pro-gun voters. Whatever it was, bravo SFF! A 3% swing overall, upwards of 30+% swings in certain electorates, and what's looking like 2 pickups.

It will be interesting to see what implications this has on the upcoming Federal Elections this year. Is this a sign that the Morrison Govt. can be re-elected?

I imagine the atmosphere following Christchurch has mobilized a few. But who knows. Maybe this is a trend and Australia will one day return to the community of free nations
