India was first founded in 2002 by an Unknown nation and later refounded by Nirupama in 2011. India is one of the largest real-life nations themed UCR (User created region) in the Nationstates community. India has a vibrant community with an active roleplay and Defender Aligned military known as Indian Armed Forces.

Nice to see one of the OG country-regions seemingly active. Your RMB sure is active! You sure have a uniquely strong recruitment base to begin with, just from your name and presumable theme. Do you have anything planned to celebrate/engage the diverse language and culture of the IRL region?

I may be white as snow, but as someone who loves to cook my way around the globe, may I suggest that a regional recipe book could be quite a cool project to embark on, that could bring you some very positive attention from across NationStates?

Yes we are planning not only RPs but some RL festivals to be celebrated on NS as well,currently we are working on our project,'Incredible India'.

We can maybe make a Regional Gurukul (School) of Indian Martial Arts. It can teach yuddhakalā (युद्धकला), āyudhavidyā (आयुधविद्या), vīravidyā (वीरविद्या), śastravidyā (शस्त्रविद्या), dhanurveda (धनुर्वेद), svarakshākalā (स्वरक्षाकला) (in Sanskrit).

Our region has launched Krantikari-The Debate Programme,where every saturday night a burning issue will be chosen from the world of International Politics and interested members from all our embassy regions will be invited to put forward their views on the topic.

Timings and Venue

All debates will commence on 15:00 UCT and continue till next 28 hours.
Venue will be the RMB of India.

Eligibility

All residents of the region are eligible along with the residents of embassy region.
