Your conlang's name: Voxi.

Short history of conlang: Voxi is a daughter language of Basque. Voxi is to Basque like Afrikaans is to Dutch. Basque refugees fled from the Spanish Inquisition and settled on the island of Voxija. They were isolated from other Basques, and their Basque developed into a dialect. With the Voxijan Basques' dealings with the indigenous Viñak people, the dialect gained Viñak loan words. Eventually, there became enough differences so that Voxi became considered a separate language.

Your Conlang's name: Dirlandic keelizüürläden

Short history of Conlang: Splitting off from Finnic languages physically around 1000 BCE, Dirlandic, apart from sound changes, developed little from Proto-Finnic for at least 13 centuries. Around the 10th century, Icelandic sailors settled on the western coasts, trading with the locals and imparting many loanwords into the western dialects before setting off around the 13th century, which soon spread and naturalised into the language. A smaller contact period with Norwegian sailors imparted a few more words.

A large number of loanwords come from colonial times by the Franco/Anglophone Cottonian Empire, with particular grammatical changes highlighting their unwanted and distanced status (third person demonstratives are used to exclude parties from this).

Also used in: Northern Municipalities of Dirland.

Your Conlang's name: Classical Ko-orenite

Short history of Conlang: The archipelago of Ko-oren is home to its own language family (in addition to many foreign arrivals such as English, French, Dutch and Japanese). This language family is now 'home' to four different modern languages, of which Classical Ko-orenite is the formal proto-language. Formal as that was the language documents were written in, but likely not the same style/register as how people actually spoke.

Your Conlang's name: Basilian

Short history of Conlang: My nation exists in a world in which the Spanish Empire unified in the late 1500s turning Spain, Portugal, Navarre, Sicily, Sardinia, Corsica, Malta, Palma, Northern Morocco, and Southern Italy (the Kingdom of Naples region) into one United Empire of Iberia. Basilia (my nation) was founded as a colony in the New World by Iberia, but later gained independence. While Iberia's nobility and royalty were predominantly dominated by Castilians and Italians, and thus the Iberian language became more influenced by those two specific languages, Basilian evolved independently. Basilia was a common asylum for those seeking refuge from the nationalist unifying force of Iberian Imperialism, and thus the Basilian language is a more even union between the languages. It also features many Turkish loan-words, due to the nation's history of taking in refugees of the Ottoman Empire.

Your Conlang's name: Lansaddian German

Short history of Conlang: Lansaddian German uses the exact same as German but it follows Huterric grammar. This was seen as a viable thing to do because a large portion of Huterric vocabulary stems from German, with a few words in German stemming from Huterric (Most notable "wir" for we coming from the Huterric "vir" for our). It is referred to as Lansaddian German because the idea was thought of in Lansadas. This is meant to ease people who speak other Germanic languages into Huterric, where the grammar is notably different from the rest of the Germanic language group in the sense that it's so simplistic that it's easy to overthink it.

Also used in: Germany. In Huterric lessons, the German spoken will be Lansaddian German so it becomes easier to apply Huterric grammar.

Your Conlang's name: Flair, or, on occasion, Niuva Ludaia-Linguia (New Ludaian Language)

Short history of Conlang: Flair was created for a similar reason as Esperanto- so that everyone in the Great Archipelago’s revolutionary parties could understand each other, given that the region wasn’t beholden to any standard language beforehand. It is formed mainly from Ziendecen and Ludaian grammar, with most words being similar to or derived from Ludaian. However, it incorporates elements of all languages of the eight historic divisions of Flaireis.

Also used in: Modista, Ardeznagan, and Hancrina, the three countries in the Great Archipelago region not subject to revolutionary forces during the Flaireisian Revolution.

Your Conlang's name:
Saareti.

Short history of Conlang:
Saareti, meaning "Islanders' [language]" in it's own, is quite an old conlang; it is an agglutinative language combining elements of Finnish, Hungarian, Nordic languages, as well as those of some Native Tribes. Originally a creole language of these, a scholar named Harald Okesson Järvinen from Sagaschald (today Saskilde in Visholm) began to systematize the vocabulary and grammar of the numerous creole dialects in the 1120s, as the first man in history codifying the language - purely a spoken one until then. When Järvinen died of an unknown disease in 1132, his daughter Lilja continued his work, publishing a dictionary in 1139. - Whereas it was written in Runes back then and still is, Professor Thorvald Lundström of the University of Lysköping created an official Romanized spelling for Saareti in 1816. By that time, speakers of the language have already begun to refer to themselves as Saareti in the sense of an ethnicity.
While it's not as widely spoken as most other languages, it does have a certain cultural influence in the Lillöer-Archipelago, the most notable being the nation's name: Lillorainen, just like the Archipelago's name, derives from lille øer - 'small islands'.
The Saareti Language Institute, located in Longenager (Visholm), maintains the language cultivation.

Also used in: Lillorainen only, predominantly in the Eastern States.

Since Lillorainen's geography is currently being overhauled a 'tiny' bit, most information on it posted before December 12, 2018, is not entirely reliable anymore. Until there's a new, proper factfile, everything you might need to know can be found here. Thank you. #RetconOfDoom (Very late update, 2020/08/30 - it's still going on ...)

A nation set in a world where nations compete for a territory in space...
Now, after getting lots of territory in outer space, our nation was thrown into disarray due to technocrats and commies.

Your Conlang's name: Vedastian (Vetaxtuner)

Short history of Conlang: Vedastian arose as a result of German and northern Italian crusaders settling on an archipelago off of the Atlantic coast of West Africa mistakenly believing that they found a faster way to the Levant and absorbed the local Berber population. Sephardic Jews escaping oppression later came to Vedastia and were also absorbed into the local population, creating a Romance language with major Germanic and minor Hebrew influences. Vedastian took on a lot of Spanish influence during the 16th century as a result of the Spanish colonizing the southeastern portion of the Vedastian mainland for a short amount of time.

Also used in: Sbemailzille (small minority); Vedastian diaspora

Your Conlang's name: Anollasian

Short history of Conlang: It was developed in the early 1700s as a language to unite the peoples of Anollasia and create an Anollasian identity. This was particularly beneficial for bringing together people in the War of Independence against Britain and the Ottoman Empire. Despite this, it remains the least used official language, with English or Turkish being more widely used.
