The Liberation army has nearly completed its takeover of Anatolia, and the Libertanan government is currently laying the groundwork for a new, libertarian, democratic government.

Action on the front
The 500k+ strong Liberation Army, supported by the Libertanan Air Force, handily defeated the 100k soldiers and 500 tanks sent in a last-ditch effort by the 2nd Ottoman Sultanate.

Further Plans
Libertanan forces will soon have captured Anatolia, and will then dig in, fortify, and prepare to defend the new, democratic Turkish state.

[OOC] @2nd Ottoman Sultanate don’t worry, I’ll rectify that with Liberiana. For now, our coalition has beach heads on the southern Anatolian coast, Eastern Thrace and Trabzon. The dice throws for the battles of Istanbul, Trabzon and Southern Anatolia will be conduct tomorrow. I’ll prepare the dispatch tonight after I compile everyone’s troops and equipment.

After a grueling sea journey, 12 ironclad ships steam into the Caspian Sea. Small coast defenses fire uselessly at the ships, their projectiles bouncing off the iron sides which had been covered in pig fat. The ironclads pour lead and metal onto the defenses, flames lining the land. Men jump into the water, and are pulled aboard the ironclads. The ships cease their firing, before noticing the mighty fortress guarding the port ahead of them. With full power to the engines, the crews damp the red hot guns. Shells shriek onto the iron ships. Chunks of the smokestacks are torn off, outside dinghies are shredded, and railings incinerated. The ships pound the fort with full broadsides, watching as stones and gun emplacements fall into the water below them. One shot from the fort hits a ships plate, plowing through the metal, wood, and hitting a gun. The ship implodes from the inside out, and when the smoke clears, a hole big as a semi truck reveals the interior of the ship. Men grab supplies and use rafts to float aboard the other ships, as the crippled ironclad settles in the shallow water, smoldering, but intact in general.

[Libertana]

After the Libertanan Air Force pounded the Ottoman coastal defenses for hours, the LA made a fast and hard push in all directions from their original beach heads. After a few more short hours of fighting, the result was decisive victory for Libertana. A few hundred men were lost, but there will be parades in the streets of the small coastal towns as the new Anatolian government Turkia Aljadida is formed out of the ashes.

Istanbul Front
Following the abondonment of the siege of Edirne by the Cymiopolitan Ministry of Defense, all 3 army corps regrouped to siege out Tekirdag. Following the initial artillery fire from land and sea, the port city immediately surrendered at the sight of our forces and Sea of Marmara was finally secured with minimal bloodshed.

Following a night of celebration, the Cymiopolitan forces made their way down the E-84 and linked up with the army of Korochunov in the outskirts of Istanbul. The next day would prove a challenge. With slightly more troops, the UN coalition forces fought a hard battle against the 200k Ottoman troops defending the City of the World’s Desire. While the Turks gave a hell of a fight during the final pushes, Constantinople was final in the hands of Greek speaking troops by nightfall. Following the surrender of the city, a mass was finally held in the Hagia Sophia for the first time in 700 years to celebrate the victory

Progress of the UNSC
The next day, our forces got word that all 4 of the initial invasions fronts have been secured, with Eastern Thrace, Trabzon, Antalya and Kurdistan secured, the UNSC Coalition will set its sights on securing the Anatolian interior with Bursa, Konya and Erzurum as potential targets. Following these cities, Izmir and Ankara could be next, though we also have to watch out for Ottoman forces attempting to regain the cities we already conquered
