Stats are a part of Gameplay in the same sense the GA is. That is, technically their mechanics are 'Gameplay' but few people actually use Gameplay in the sense of the mechanics.

THE FOUNDER OF RATAPRARAH WILL NOT ALLOW A LARGE VOTING CONFLICT TO CONTINUE I WILL ALSO NOT ALLOW THIS CONFLICT TO SPREAD AND IF THIS CONTINUES THE CONFLICT WILL LEAD TO A VOTING WAR AND THIS WILL MAKE THE NATION OF RATAPRARAH NO LONGER A PEACEFULL NATION

An independent region can practice its independence, just as the WA can exercise its discretion over what activity is commendable. Independentism is all about practicing a foreign policy stripped of normative thought, a realpolitik - and in real politics, there are consequences to actions - interregional peace organizations don't go around giving commendations for unjustified aggression.

No one outside of a small bubble in Gameplay thinks picking on a small region is a flattering look.

Also Uni, didn't you help write this?

I corrected some historical facts and some syntax. I'd do it for anyone in the SC and routinely do. I'm mystified why some folks think I went out and pro-actively wrote a commendation of a region I've been historically quite critical of, for practicing an ideology that I've rained acid on since I was eighteen.

Gonna be honest, given that it's becoming more evident that Unibot helped Tinhampton with this proposal, we as a community should disqualify further Commend TNP proposals from Tinhampton on that bit alone.

Let someone with better choices of contributors write it.

You've never advocated this hard line against any other proposer that I've contributed an edit to. Including those resolutions you yourself have contributed to.

It sounds to me like you're trying to kick an author because they're down and because you think you can do so to get to me - and I don't particularly like it. I can still call a bully when I see one.

What influence you have with people comes with responsibilities, Tim - and what influence you don't have, ought not to be overestimated. You're neither their Caesar nor their Pastor, and I think you will find in good time that you have no such leverage with "the NationStates Community" to isolate people without cause.

What’s frustrating about this whole raid revelation, is now it seems that the targeted region has now become a big glaring target because of TNP’s mess - but “no harm” has been done.

I do think it was a valid reason to kill the commendation, hopefully they take the message regardless of whether they cared for the commendation or not.

So anytime Unibot corrects the facts on a draft, or makes any other small suggestion, that draft and all future drafts by the same author are irredeemably flawed? Even if it's something Unibot's ultimately against? Is the author supposed to ignore such fact-checking or risk having this and all future drafts poisoned?

You must realize how nonsensical that sounds.

This was unfortunately the case, as I was informed by a member of my region that we were being look at by a region that was recently raided by The Black Hawks as a raid target. Due the timing of everything, I had to put the region under password protection until everything returns to normality.

Which region? The rogue nations alliance, reported by Swaglord? If so, based on the regional happenings, those look more like very poorly-timed defenders to me. They've already jumped (eight hours before Swaglord mentioned it), and most are long gone now.

Call it paranoia at this point. While I did see that the nations that arrived in my region were trying to defend, I also saw that they came from a region connected to The Black Hawks. You'll excuse me for being cautious during a period of recovery.
