I consider technology a tool that'd ideally be used to overcome but I think that being out of touch with nature is a problem on the pretense that it leads to an arrogant lack of awe and fear, which in our Ponzi Scheme of a global economy translates to a lack of awareness in realizing that humanity is currently not exempt from an ecosphere with limited resources that we constantly wreck.

technology is neither good nor bad, and banging rocks together IS technology.
there is no such thing as 'primativist. but there are religious and ideological loonies who hate logic.

cities and cars are not the future, but the scientific method will not be entirely forgotten when the big speedbump has come and gone.

and while ecopocalypse could be ameliorated, possibly prevented almost entirely, it does not appear to me that we are doing nearly enough to do so.

will we do enough in time to even survive is uncertain.

and indiginous cultures were never 'primativist' in the sense this word is being used now.

Just cause a nation isn't as technologically advanced as another doesn't mean they're a primitivist nation, which seems to be what you're saying here.
