Kingdom of Soracana Islands Supreme Council (Kacara: Rajyamara ing Jili Soracana Sarbuka Arsad) is the central government of Soracana Islands, seated in Wantilan, Kayamasa, the national capital. The body consist of 2 councils, an upper house, Sarbuka Nugara (State Council) and a lower house, Sarbuka Kayam (Peoples Council). Each councils has its own organization and officer. Under Third Constitution of Soracana Islands, both council has a same level on proposing a bill. Although some exception applied. Such as budget bill have to introduce in Sarbuka Kayam, and treaty and/or bilateral and multilateral agreement will only be voted in Sarbuka Nugara. Each and every bill that introduce to the council needs to passed both house before being enacted into law. In a position that one of the council rejected the bill, the other council chamber will need to amend the bill before it being introduce again.
Although Soracana Islands Monarch today has a little to no power in create or introduce bill to the councils, each bill still need Royal Assent before it become law. The bill that has been signed by all 5 Kings of Soracana Islands constituent states and the High King of Soracana Islands are considered approved. The approved bill will be published in the Council Gazette which makes it an official law.
Sarbuka Nugara are consist of 17 members, 3 from each constituent states and 1 from each federal municipalities. While the Sarbuka Kayam consists of 65 members based on population proportion of each states and federal municipalities. Election take place every 4 years. On the end of the term, High King of Soracana Islands have to dissolve the councils before an official election take place. The current council is 26th Soracana Islands Supreme Council which began in 4 January 2016 until 20 December 2019. It is a split council where Sarbuka Kayam is control by Mahiajili Party and its coalition while Sarbuka Nugara is control by Karia Party.
