This is the OOC thread for the Waratendia Declares War RP, or as I will refer to it in my post, the Waratendia-New Ark War.
I have started this thread after discussing things with Waratendia.
Here are some of the ground rules that have been established by Waratendia.
1. Don't godmod
2. Avoid nukes
3. You can switch sides, but try to avoid it
4. No spam
5. Try to avoid out-of-character speech
6. Don't numberspam
To clarify what has happened in preceding threads:
1. Waratendia bought some slaves.
2. Newark Aristocracy used a nuclear weapon on Waratendia, killing many civilians.
There is now a war going on between two factions:
People who believe that the practice of slavery by one nation does not justify the use of aggressive force against it by other nations (those people are siding with Waratendia), and those people who do believe it does.
Now, it's clear that this RP is fairly loose on realism. Some nations have used multi-million man military forces, others have done any number of unreasonable things. I ask that those of you who think this is unrealistic and 'bad RP', please avoid participating in this RP rather than try and browbeat other players into adopting a play style you enjoy.
I also ask people to post maps of their nations, and orders of battles of their own deployments, in this thread.
I will make some suggestions on how to improve the RP in future posts, however none of my suggestions here are part of the thread's 'rules' unless they're approved by Waratendia, who is the OP, and Newark, whose nation is being invaded.
My own deployment [ which WILL come] will appear in later posts also.
