Opinions on Amazon creating their own work processors?

Postby Canned Ham » Thu Nov 29, 2018 4:53 pm

Hello! I would like some peoples opinions about the launch of Amazons workstation processors. I for one, think that it's a great idea on Amazon's part, as they will probably be cheaper than most other workstation processors. Basically, they launched a CPU called the "Gravitron", it has 16 cores and runs at speeds of 2.3 GHz, although its possible to go higher with overclocking. It's great at things like video editing and multitasking. Here's a article explaining more about it. https://www.theregister.co.uk/2018/11/27/amazon_aws_graviton_specs/

you may want to flesh out your post. explain what amazon work processors are, how they are different that other things, and why you like them. Helps us in what to talk about.

I would suggest soaking him in buttermilk overnight, I suspect he may taste a bit gamey.
Then the question still remains, what garnishes goes with a bezos?

Slow cooking is the key.

Is Amazon putting this in a new device? What OS does it run?

I don't like how big Amazon and other tech giants are getting. Hit them with a big stick, I dare say.

I love the idea of another company smashing rocks all thin, forcing lightning into them, and making them think.
