Baranillian Boxing was founded in 1973 by Seraxinboughians who wanted a pass time after being forced to leave the military due to no longer having suitable eyesight and not wanting to remain in Seraxinbough where they would be forced to work hard in a factory.
Due to this, the sport is very popular in Baranil and Seraxinbourgh.

Professional Licence
Unless they are injured for 16 or more fight nights in one year, each professional fighter must maintain at least a 6-5-1 (13 points) record and be involved in exactly 12 fights, if a fighter is injured for a large portion of the season the this number is reduced to a 6-5 (12 points) or 5-4-1 (11 points) record across 10 or 11 fights, if a fighter is unable to fight 10 times in a season then they are automatically demoted to the second tier of Baranillian Boxing and lose their Professional Licence.
The Playoffs
The last Fight Night of a year is Playoff Night, where all fighters from the First Division that had a record with at least one win but did not obtain 13/12/11 points will fight an opponent from the Second Division, the winner of this fight will participate in next year's First Division while the loser will be placed in next year's Second Division.
Automatic Pro-Rel
If a fighter fails to fight at least 10 fights in one year, doesn't obtain at least one win all year or plans to retire at the end of the season then they will be automatically replaced in the First Division by the highest ranked Second Division fighter who had not already guaranteed automatic promotion.
Second Divison Rankings
Second Division fighters can fight up to 10 times a year and are recommended to do so to obtain the best chance of promotion. The fighters are then ranked by:
1 ) Number of wins
2 ) Number of draws
3 ) Number of first round victories
4 ) Number of second round victories
5 ) Number of third round victories
6 ) Number of fourth round victories

9 ) Number of seventh round victories
10) Least number of losses
11) Fastest victory
12) Number of knockout wins

Third Division
All fighters start off here, Third Division fighters need to have fought 9 times (Or 8 if they were unable to find an opponent on one or more occassion) to be eligible for promotion to the Second Division and uses the same ranking system as the Second Division to determine who gets promoted.
Fighters in the Second Division need to have won at least 3 fights, or 2 wins if they have drawn at least 3 time that year to avoid relegation, any fighter who fails to meet that criteria will be relegated to the Third Division and replaced by a fighter from there.
Death
Should a fighter in the First Division unfortunately die then they will be replaced by the best ranked Second Division fighter who will have their Second Division place replaced by the best Third Division fighter, these two fighters are immune to relegation at the end of the season though the latter mentioned cannot obtain promotion that season either unless the fighter died during the short break between seasons.
Should a Second Division fighter die then they will be replaced by a Third Division fighter who will be unable to be promoted or relegated that season unless it's during the short offseason.
