[Lethen Empire]

"I'm..." She hesistated for a moment. "from South Africa. Lethen South Africa. I sort of came here because I wanted to see the world." She replied, scratching her head a little.

"Ah that's very nice." Maize replied. "We're both from here, well the Domain. From a town a few hours south of here. We came because I guess we wanted to have a chance to see meet lots of interesting people."

"I mostly came just to be with Maize." Ryan confessed. "She could have dragged me anywhere and I would have said yes."

"Ah! You too are very close, I see. I hope I can make friends like that here." Ruby replied, smiling and crossing her arms under her chest. "Hmm...well, to start, what did I miss today?"

[Vionna-Frankenlisch]

Hana and Mary

"What's chowder?" Hana whispered to Mary.

"Some kind of stew, I think..." Mary replied, just as unsubtly, "They have it in Balion."

"We'd best go along with it," Hana suggested, nodding.

"Yeah..." Mary concluded. She smiled and said normally, "Yes, we'll have the same, please."

[Kuronami]

Elizabeth observed the ominous, dark clouds forming in the sky, and let out a frustrated exhale. It was as if the rain had fallen down on her already.

"Goddamn storm," she muttered, before turning to Fiore, "You wanna head in right now?"

"Yeah we should head in." Fiore nodded. Looking at Corine, Corine simply said "Well my sis will have to finish up with the pets here so I best stay with her."

"Ah that's understandable. Stay dry." Fiore said cheerfully. Before leaving however, Mona had quickly returned, grinning ear to ear she was no doubt happy, guess this wasn't just her chasing Instructor Mattingly down for an assignment. "What's up Mona?" Fiore asked, wanting to know.

"Thank you, Ma'am. You as well!", I called after her and grinned, turning back to my friends - to be honest, fuck the clouds! I had a club advisor and a club to lead, I thought as I skipped towards my friends, a giddy grin on my face. Bhuf caught onto my happiness, skipping at my side with a happiness in his stride, which could be seen from miles away. If we got wet during the storm, the worst I'd have to do was fetching a towel to rub Bhuf down, as wet dog was not exactly a pleasant smell, but after that, who knew, what could be done! As I arrived back with them, I grinned and asked: "Guess who got herself a club advisor!"

"Oh hey we got an advisor for the club?! That's terrific!" Fiore replied excited.

"No kidding, you got my mom to be advisor huh?" Corine said a bit surprised but thrilled it would be her mom.

"Yay mama's got a club!" Millie added.

"Well guess the Walkies Club has its advisor and that must mean we're all set." Fiore said.

"Ah! You too are very close, I see. I hope I can make friends like that here." Ruby replied, smiling and crossing her arms under her chest. "Hmm...well, to start, what did I miss today?"

"Hehe we sure are." Maize replied happily,

"Mhm." Ryan quietly nodded.

"Oh first day, just introduction lectures but I'm sure you'll catch up pretty easy. Also club signups at lunch but again it will be easy to join. Ryan and I are planning on joining The History Club."

"yeah. But there's lots of other clubs if academic clubs aren't what you're into."

Hana and Mary

"What's chowder?" Hana whispered to Mary.

(time to push forward)

Everyone had one more elective period they could pick from then the final course of the day was PE. "Healthy bodies, are good for healthy minds." The Coach lectured for all the long ladies in her class after they were changed and ready to go. "I do intend to place physical fitness at the high priority. But of course, it should be fun. Today we'll play sports and every other period will be pure physical conditioning, running, weight lifting and that. Now let's line up and count off and we'll play football (soccer)."

Everyone counted off to split into two teams. "On my whistle, you may begin." She blew her whistle and they could begin. Poor Fiore was unlucky enough to be goal keeper. "Waaaah" She dived for the ball or ducked to not get hit. Sometimes she got lucky and stopped it. "I-I'm not very athletic." she muttered with a sigh.

Other of the girls who had an edge being natural players. "Amika downfield, it's all you!" Elly-Mae called out. Scoring a goal Amika gave a Jes akiris ĝin! The whistle blew again "That's game, good workout today ladies, shower, dress and that's the end of the day."

After Amelie got her elective class which was music by surprise, although she liked and loved music it wasn't her most interesting subject here with many others like history in the school. But of course after it the subject that followed it was PE, the last subject of the day.

It was just the basic subject in where it would be the same as ever and it would be another subject more for her, although she did sports, the one that the coach said was the one that she most hated and was bad at it... Football. Luck wasn't with her today for this and now she hoped that things would go good and that this period ended soon; which it didn't happened after the game, which ended being an disaster for her being midfielder.
She could note that Fiore has the same or worst than her, although the last one was more surely with her being goal keeper, god bless that she survived; then in the other side she would note the other girls, more exacly the vice-president of the Student Council, damm she was good at it.

Then luckly after that the game ended and they could walk back at their rooms or do wharever they like before the blackout, of course she took her shower and dressed herself back with the uniform. Once she leaved, she went to roam through the school seeing that it was being late and that an big storm will begin soon.

"Hope I find some friend or someone who I can talk meanwhile the storm happens" she said to herself walking again just watching the possible big storm without knowing where she was walking.

"And I guess, someone else is also excited about our new advisor!", I said with a smile, reaching down to scratch him between the ears. Turning back to my friends, I grinned: "Come, let's walk a bit more before the rain starts!"

Aurora.
After homework and reviewing what we did today, not to mention after refreshing after PE class, I sighed.
It looked as if it would be raining, so... no exploring town today. And my roomies were all over the place apparently, too. So, rose from my chair, stretched and decided: Let's go exploring anyway, at least until the rain started.
Maybe longer then that, I added in my mind as I donned my rain jacket, a deep black jacket, which hugged me in all the right places. For a moment, I wondered if this was a modification to the school uniform, as we were issued rain jackets by our school back home, but I decided, that it would be alright...
...hopefully.
With a smile, I left my dorm.

[Folaisia]

"Oh, congrats," she complimented to Mona, after hearing her and Corine make a happy fuss about her History teacher accepting the position. Then, after hearing Mona suggested in walking out, Elizabeth contemplated for a bit on her decision. With a smooth nasal breath to herself, she strides along with her and the girls.

"So, when's your club gonna get the signups," Elizabeth then asked.

"So, are you guys new around here?" Mary asked enthusiastically.

Hana sipped her drink in silence, seemingly deep in thought.

"Hope I find some friend or someone who I can talk meanwhile the storm happens" she said to herself walking again just watching the possible big storm without knowing where she was walking.

"Hey!" Called the friendly voice of Apphia. "Hey wait up a sec." she dashed down the hallway to catch up. "Hey hey! Amelie right? Glad to see you again! Remember me, I'm Apphia, president of the History Club. Given the rain lots of folks are just cooped up so most of the clubs are calling their first meetings today. So what do you say, you wanna come?"

Mona.
I grinned with Millie and Corine and Fiore.
"Indeed, it's your mother! She seemed so nice and she has previous experience with animals, so we should be alright.", I said with an excited grin, "Girls, I can't await to start!"
Bhuf gave a happy bark as well.

Aurora.
After homework and reviewing what we did today, not to mention after refreshing after PE class, I sighed.
It looked as if it would be raining, so... no exploring town today. And my roomies were all over the place apparently, too. So, rose from my chair, stretched and decided: Let's go exploring anyway, at least until the rain started.

With the rattling of rain against the window and the booming thunder outside, Nerissa sighed and tapped her pencil. She just somehow couldn't concentrate on this. It'd been a pretty trying day for her already. Getting sent here by her demanding father was bad enough but she felt like all her teachers already were looking to make her life more miserable. Especially that MATH TEACHER. Well maybe a good walk in the rain would clear her head she grabbed her own rain jacket, a bright yellow and head on out down the hallway. Coming across Aurora, a girl whom she hadn't really met. Then again she never was good at getting social. Her father a Navy man, meant uprooting and relocating often. Her demands to finally settle down seemed to backfire as rather than settling down she was banished to this all girls school.

Still Aurora looked like she had a similar mission as her own so why not be friendly for a change. "Looks like you an I are on similar missions." she said plainly while walking astride as if they were best friends who knew each other already. "Narissa." she introduced herself.

Hana and Mary

"So, are you guys new around here?" Mary asked enthusiastically.

Hana sipped her drink in silence, seemingly deep in thought.

"Oh, no I've been attending here for a while." Elly-Mae said. "Actually born and raised here in Foxtrot but I board here at the school."

"Also here since freshman year." Amika replied.

Keller Harrington

After Chise's suggestion, Keller did notice a storm start to brew up outside. "I'm not worried about lightning, but I might as well finish up inside." Keller said, grabbing the mat she was on and taking it with her inside the gym. Keller wanted to continue practicing some kendo moves, so she started training with Chise. The gym was crowded, but the amount of people nearby had things in a good ambiance.

"And one and two and three" Chise instructed some of the newer students to kendo with the sword. "And one, two and three. Kai" she did a downward thrust to air. "So also a student of Kendo yourself, Keller? Think you mentioned that." Chise asked just more impressed. "If we have a proper match hopefully I'll hold my ground better."

"Well think we got some time so why not." Fiore shrugged happy to enjoy a nice walk with her friends. Corine thought a sec "Well, I guess lots of clubs are starting already. So in a way, t=this is our first day. We are walking after all."

"Aurora.", I replied with a smile, "And yes, it looks that way, Narissa. A bit of exploring, a bit of fun, after we survived the first day... and homework." I emphasized homework in a way, that made it seem like the vilest, cruelest thing in the history of ever. While the drops came down, I stepped out. "Come, let's get going! Any direction!"

"S-sure show me where it is" she said grinning as she followed her. "I'm sorry for hitting on you without realizing it, I was lost in my thoughts" she said apologizing to her.

"Oh blimey," Mary commented, "That explains quite a bit actually..." She took her glass in hand and announced to the little group, "I think we should make a little toast..." Mary stood and quietly declared, "To friends from foreign shores and to new bonds, long may they last." She smiled widely and drank deeply, to have her place taken by Hana, whose toast was a little less suitable for the foriegners.

"To King and Empire," she proposed with glass raised.

Keller was busy inside of the gym, practicing using a fake sword for her kendo. She was swinging the sword more faster than the typical students, but she made sure no one gotten hurt. Chise was impressed with Keller's skills, which she overheard. "If we had a proper match here, someone might get hurt. Gym is a bit too crowded to hold a match."

"She's adorable." Fiore added to Corine.

"Yeah she is all right." Corine agreed.

"Aye, here's to a first day and surviving it." Narissa replied if she was making a toast. "Mmmm." She took a moment to examine the grounds. "Let's go this way." Taking them around the doors by the greenhouses. If they felt a need to get out of the rain they'd have a quick easy shelter.

Amelie just walked by not caring of who she just hitted without realizing, her thoughts were just making her forget an little of the outside world until she heard an familiar voice calling her... Apphia; first she was completely nervious of what just happened. But then she asked her if she wanted to go to the club first meeting.

"S-sure show me where it is" she said grinning as she followed her. "I'm sorry for hitting on you without realizing it, I was lost in my thoughts" she said apologizing to her.

"All right come with me. Oh don't worry about it." She lead her onto an empty classroom, well empty besides the few members of the club. "Welcome to the History Club first meeting of the new semester. We have a brand new member so would you like to introduce yourself?"

"Oh blimey," Mary commented, "That explains quite a bit actually..." She took her glass in hand and announced to the little group, "I think we should make a little toast..." Mary stood and quietly declared, "To friends from foreign shores and to new bonds, long may they last." She smiled widely and drank deeply, to have her place taken by Hana, whose toast was a little less suitable for the foriegners.

"To King and Empire," she proposed with glass raised.

Elly-Mae and Amika rose their glasses to the toast and clanked them "Here Here." Elly-Mae responded

"I'll toast to that." Amika added each taking a sip of their own drinks.

Ruby giggled a little. "I see! Maybe I'll also join the history club. I enjoy history, though, mathematics is my specialty. Is there a math club, by the way?"

"Oh yeah there is a Math Club, it's also ran by the Student body president. frankly the less math I have to do the better." Maize giggled and her silly quip.

She followed Apphia to the classroom in where it was established the club, she was an little nervious about how things might go but she was sure that everything will go great and fine.
Once she entered with her to the classroom, she noted that it was empty or looked like it, since there were some members from the club there.

Then the president of the club asked if she could present herself and gladly she did it.

"Hello my name is Amelie, I'm one of the foreign students that the academy accepted; in my case, from Mervay" she said bowing to them. "I hope that we can get along well and it's an honor to meet you all" she grinned to everyone.

Mary gave Hana the evils as she took a sip of her drink, 'Thank heavens they're monarchists...' She thought.

"So, what goes on around here?" Mary asked, "Any excitement? Any juicy gossip?"

That Millie was - adorable, I mean.
Bhuf seemed to like her as well, which made me like her, too. He even as far as to nuzzle the girl, which made me grin.
"Be careful, Millie - he might kiss you, if you are not careful!", I joked, which made Bhuf bark. I interpreted it as him not objecting to such an arrangement, but I was quite certain, that Millie's older sister might object.

Aurora.
"Alright, lead the way!", I replied to my new friend, following her. I had no idea, where we were going, but it sure was a nice way, which we took. "So, Narissa... where are you from?"
The dark rain clouds above weren't exactly designed to improve moods, but they somehow still did, in a weird sort of way. I mean, they reminded me a bit of home... there would be dark clouds passing overhead quite a few times and more often then not, they would even release their payloads, but... yeah.
They reminded me a bit of home.
